Welcoming all those who have received their BFPs for a November bubba - congratulations to all!
I felt terrified as not really TTC #2 but thanks to support from the kind ladies of MN I’ve decided to embrace and be excited.

34, baby #2, probably keeping it a surprise(?!) mum to a 7yo DS, hoping only 1 in there as only 3 weeks today and heft symptoms already

Hiii would love to join tentatively... 🥰 positive test saturday at 11dpo, due at pretty much the same time my first was born 🙈 just waiting for a GP appt as I have some left side pain.. I have a known cyst that side so im hoping thats what causing the discomfort. Hoping they'll send me for an early scan to check all is where it should be 🤞

Taysonic · 05/03/2026 19:21

It's not looking good for me, ladies. Out of nowhere, had a lot of cramping, pain and bleeding this afternoon.

Which is so cruel seeing as just yesterday we were feeling mildly optimistic after seeing some good line progression and got our 2-3 digital.

I'm only 4+6 today. Still taking progesterone. I just feel like I know.

I'll probably do another test in a couple of days, to see if that shows a clear indication of what the direction of travel.

Oh gosh I’m so sorry. Truly hoping this is just part of a normal journey for you. My SIL had bleeding and cramping throughout her whole pregnancy and I know the first few weeks were pretty scary for her but she had a successful pregnancy and a very healthy happy baby. We’re sending all the support we can and best of luck. Everyone on here, please stay positive and keep us updated x

Heartbroken to hear this again Taysonic, I remember you from last year before I had a break from the forums. You have been through so much, keeping everything crossed that it isn't bad news. Have you had any answers as to what was happening before other than low progesterone? Sending you best wishes xxx

Hoping to join! Got my "Pregnant" on Clear Blue digital today! Will be due Nov 13th all going well.

CGR12 · 05/03/2026 23:27

@Sj2505 thinking of you and hoping you get the news you’re hoping for when you return to EPU. The whole process is so painful and anxiety inducing. Sending you love.

My symptoms are really quite painful lower back ache and quite intense waves of cramping pains too.

I have had a small amount of brown blood today (about the size of a 50p piece). I haven’t had any more blood currently but it’s very triggering for me due to two previous miscarriages in the past. I am trying not to spiral but it’s so hard at this stage, isn’t it?

I did an internet ‘cheapy’ stick today and it was a ‘dye stealer’ in terms of how positive and dark the pregnancy test line was. It’s been almost a week since I did a Clearblue digital and got a 2-3 result. I may try to do a digital soon to see if now a 3+ but I know you can’t take those as very accurate as I never got a previous 3+ in my previous pregnancy and my daughter is very much 2 years old now so never getting a 3+ means nothing.

Sending love to all of you who are finding the waiting game hard. Especially those of you struggling after previous miscarriages. The first trimester anxiety is awful and feels so long. Hoping for a positive update from all of us soon ❤️

Peachesthecat · 06/03/2026 05:36

Hey girls, would love to tentatively join! Been ttc number 4 for 2 years! Finally got bfp last week! Due to my geriatric age of 44 the epu want to check me today at 5.2 weeks which seems crazy early but due to history with bleeding etc they won’t give me progesterone without it. I know the scan will probs show nothing so I’ll be even more anxious. Will also hopefully get first bloods back today so I’m nervous! No major symptoms as yet, some twinges and cramps. Took this this morning to make sure it hadn’t got lighter ffs! Do you think it looks okay? Thanks all! Have a gorgeous day xxx

Peachesthecat · 06/03/2026 07:40

Just started bleeding. On the irony! Can’t believe I thought this was it. Will still attend app but not hopeful. Good luck to yoh all xx

Sj2505 · 06/03/2026 09:16

@iwasgonnasaythank you. The unit doesn’t usually call with the first hCG, just with the progression of the second, but I call and ask for the first number anyway?!

@CSR721welcome! Thank you for your kind words 🫶🏼 sounds like your tests are going well! When is your GP appointment? Sounds like your pain etc could be related to your cyst. My left ovary is stuck to the back of my womb, so there’s a small chance mine could be due to that too. Let us know how you get on.

@Taysonicso sorry to hear that you had some pain and bleeding. Did you test again today? As we know, it doesn’t rule us out immediately and your previous tests were so promising, so I have everything crossed for you!

@ttcnumero2welcome 😊 and congratulations!

@Peachesthecatwelcome to you too, and congratulations! I think that test looks great. My Tesco ones were horrendous, but that looks really good in comparison! How far along are you? Definitely still go to your appointment. Could just be a freak bleed of some kind. Fingers crossed for you.

I’ve had some more brown spotting/very light brown bleeding last night, and a tiny bit of spotting this morning, but not much pain at all. It’s all very stressful isn’t it! I’m still not daring to hope, but just staying cautiously aware at the moment x

@Peachesthecat stay hopeful, that line is so strong! Was it a lot of blood? Thinking of you today.

DorsetGirl89 · 06/03/2026 09:35

@CGR12 how are things today with you? Any more bleeding? How was test looking this morning? Hope you're ok. ♥️

Peachesthecat · 06/03/2026 09:41

Thank you all, my gorg husband is always so positive where as I always prepare for the worst so it’s great to chat to you all. Bleeding had stopped when I wipe but it comes on my finger if I check (tmi) 🙄🙄🙄 no pain but def reminds me of the last time it went wrong. Just crushing disappointment eh?! I’m just kicking myself that I couldn’t get the progesterone quicker 😢 hope everyone else is doing okay and sending g all the worries ladies love xxx

DorsetGirl89 · 06/03/2026 10:34

@Peachesthecat stay positive, see what they say today. They might still prescribe progesterone. Hang in there, we're all with you xx

Peachesthecat · 06/03/2026 12:26

Quick update while I’m waiting for doc. Had scan, could see a gestational sac and a yoke but she said that it is too small for 5 weeks, more like 4 and I should prepare to miscarry as I’m spotting. It’s just so shit

Peachesthecat · 06/03/2026 13:37

Plot thickens, saw the consultant who said that if she had done the scan she would have said everything is normal and actually really good to see the yolk at this time and not to give the report to much thinking time! Sac measuring 4.8mm apparently and she likes it to be between 5-7 at this size. Of course though I am bleeding so who knows any more. Got the progesterone anyway

iwasgonnasay · 06/03/2026 14:36

@Peachesthecat My goodness this is a bit of a whirlwind for you, to say the least. How can we not fret when it's something so important and the care teams seem to be easily confused themselves?! I'm sorry this must be so frustrating for you. Wishing you all the best of luck and hope you keep us updated

Peachesthecat · 06/03/2026 15:11

Thank you so much! Bleeding has stopped but I did get straight on with the pessaries when I got home. So really I’m just thinking I’m pregnant u til told otherwise! From what I’ve read 4.8mm seems to be fine it’s just the bleeding now that I need to worry about!!! Never ending eh. Long two weeks ahead! How is everyone else getting on today? Xx

Taysonic · 06/03/2026 15:39

What a roller-coaster @Peachesthecat -hope you get on well with the progesterone and that it does the trick. Keeping my fingers crossed you get the all clear in two weeks.

I've not had much bleeding today. I don't know whether to be relieved or a bit frustrated that it gives me a reason to stay hopeful and if this the loss I think it is, I'd rather just know and be able to process it (emotionally and physically) as soon as possible.

DorsetGirl89 · 06/03/2026 15:42

@Peachesthecat this is such a rollercoaster. Its strange what he said about gestational sac not being big enough, I was in yesterday and they saw absolutely nothing at all at 4.5 weeks and said sometimes they don't until 6 weeks? The nurse was talking about referring me to the recurrent loss clinic already, until bloods confirmed everything was fine for now. I think maybe they deal with losses a lot and are expecting the worst, but I do think they could've been a bit less pessimistic for you! Keeping everything crossed for you, glad you've got the progesterone now xxx

Peachesthecat · 06/03/2026 16:31

Thank you both so much xx
I agree Taysonic that we cling onto any hope at all and that makes it so much harder! So glad about your bloods Dorsetgirl, what’s next for you? Xxx

PepperPot88 · 06/03/2026 16:35

Am I okay to join? My OTD is tomorrow. I hope it sticks. I’m 10 DP5DT

🎇 Due November 26 🎆
CrazyKJ · 06/03/2026 16:57

Gosh it’s been a bit of a rollercoaster couple of days for everyone hasn’t it. Sending hugs X
The pain I had yesterday has changed to period cramps in my back and stomach. No bleeding yet but seems like more of a when than an if at this point, as this is how both my previous MCs started. GP has requested I’m seen at the EPU but have to wait to hear from them.

CGR12 · 06/03/2026 17:28

@Peachesthecat so pleased you have some good news. Crossing my fingers for you.

I’ve had no further bleeding currently, other than a small 50p sized amount of brown blood yesterday.

I tested my Clearblue today and it showed 3+. No symptoms really showing today. I think I’m 5+1 days.

No idea how I’ll cope with the waiting game! Just crossing my fingers and trying to tell myself that ‘what’s meant for me won’t miss me’ but that’s easier said than one!
