Welcoming all those who have received their BFPs for a November bubba - congratulations to all!
I felt terrified as not really TTC #2 but thanks to support from the kind ladies of MN I’ve decided to embrace and be excited.

34, baby #2, probably keeping it a surprise(?!) mum to a 7yo DS, hoping only 1 in there as only 3 weeks today and heft symptoms already

Thanks for the warning @hopeful4us, we have a whatsapp but I have join approval on and will keep an eye out for that name!

@doofdoof here is the link if you want!
Also @slightlyamusing , the whatsapp is called November Nibbles so you could pass it off as a girls day plan if anyone saw :)

Hope everyone is getting on okay?
@lhun3 @FourGreenElephants I agree that you should both be okay to wait until 7 weeks for the scan. Having had scans before and after 7 weeks, waiting is definitely much more straightforward and they can give you more info 😊

I woke up with period like cramps this morning which has turned into a stabbing type pain low down right in the middle. Don’t think it’s the corpus luteum this time because the pain has changed. Also feel like the nausea has eased a little 🙁 I so badly want to be positive after seeing everything was perfect on the scan on Saturday. I’ve just got a bad feeling I can’t shake since the pain started 😢 X

Ahh it is called november 2026 babies 😬, I can't join until the cat is out the bag and that will be aaaages (20+ weeks)! I don't think you can just change the name of a group once it is created? (it might not matter to other's that much but I plan to keep it on the downlow for as long as possible, I have people from work etc on fb).

The group is private so it won't show up that you've joined it x

Hi all,

I'm in the October 2026 group. We created a WhatsApp group and had a person joining who has since gone on to say some awful things (incl. hoping that another member would lose their pregnancy). You might be safe with a FB group @CGR12 but wanted to give you a heads up. We don't know what this person's MN handle was but they called themselves Miranda, said it was their first pregnancy and they lived nr Belsize Park.

Wishing you all well with your pregnancies 💖

Thank you. I'll definitely be keeping an eye out and anyone breaking the rules will be removed immediately!

Hi, @hopeful4us , just wanted to check your message warning about the Facebook group and safety of members etc was to me? As I am a little confused 😂Have you got my username mixed up with someone else or have I said something which has worried you? Thank you!

I think it was aimed at me as I started the group, we have similar usernames!

Bluehairedmama · 24/03/2026 12:49

Hi everyone! Joining because I got my positive test last week for baby number 2. My first little boy turned 3 last week and I should be due around 20th Nov! 🤞
we had a rough time with our first so hoping for a better experience this time.
weirdly I barely have any symptoms this time around when last time I was rough by this point already! Trying not to overthink and get anxious!! 😆
Hope you’re all doing well ❤️

That’s awful!! Thanks for giving us the heads up !!

FourGreenElephants · 24/03/2026 13:44

Ok, day two of this 16 DPO, the second test got a bit darker a bit faster, so things are going as they should.

It somehow doesn't feel real yet, or maybe I just don't want to be too excited too soon..

I know many here are a few weeks ahead, when did it start to feel real for you?

lhun3 · 24/03/2026 13:48

@FourGreenElephantsI tested on Mother’s Day for BFP so I think I’m around 5 weeks but I have very little symptoms so doesn’t feel real to me yet! I’m not sure if it’ll feel real until the scan or symptoms appear 🤷🏻‍♀️

Alwaysgrowing · 24/03/2026 17:01

Hi, can I join. I'm due early December but can't find a December group. Got my bfp yesterday. Either the 5th or the 8th depending on if I go off lmp or my app.

Oh hooray! I’ve been lurking waiting for someone to create a WhatsApp group. Thank you! Just requested to join! I’m 5+2, had an early scan today and all looking well so far 🙏🏻

PepperPot88 · 24/03/2026 20:10

Had my first scan at 6 weeks 5 days. Me and my husband cried our eyes out. There’s a heart beat!

Dee51121 · 25/03/2026 19:48

For those who have had early scans, have you paid to have them privately or via NHS? If via NHS what was the circumstances?

I'm loathed to pay for an early scan as my last pregnancy (anembryonic) I did and feel like I spent £75 to hear bad news. Plus the NHS don't count them as official evidence of a miscarriage, so it ended up being such a long drawn out process. In the last couple of days I've had some discolouration when I wipe (slight brown/pink hue). I would really like an early scan with the NHS but will they only consider that if I say I'm properly bleeding?

PepperPot88 · 25/03/2026 21:11

@Dee51121 Hi, yes that was a private one but I also have another one next week under the nhs because I’m ivf. All being well, I’ll ‘graduate’ and be passed onto maternity services.

At this rate though, I feel like I’m explaining dates etc to other medical professionals who aren’t as clued up on the ivf process. That scan was with window to the womb and the booking process to get a scan doesn’t make sense for ivf. It asks for last menstrual period which means nothing when you had the embryo collected last summer, frozen and then your cycle controlled in Feb. I basically told them that I should be 6 weeks and 5 days and then the sonographer said yes 6 weeks 5 days exactly after measuring. (Well durrr it was a 5 day old embryo and I know the exact day it was transferred!)

From my understanding it can vary a little by area. However where I live you can only self refer to the EPU for an early scan after 2 miscarriages. Prior to that it’s referral only so would need your GP etc to call/refer if you meet your local EPUs criteria X

ivy118 · 26/03/2026 07:22

@Dee51121
am so sorry to hear what your going through- if you try to contact your hospitals EPU and only tell them about the bleeding they will most likely ask you toome on the day or the next to get a scan xx

hope it all orbs out for you x

I’ve got an NHS early scan tomorrow, but I had a second trimester loss so will have extra monitoring.

LPR16 · 26/03/2026 07:24

I'm sorry to hear this @Dee51121

It's worth calling your local EPU, its very much dependent on their policy. I was offered an early scan in a similar situation but know others weren't.

I found out via a private scan last year that I’d had a miscarriage, I then called the EPU who did a second scan to medically confirm. Fingers crossed for you

Dee51121 · 26/03/2026 08:50

Thank you for the replies, useful info.

I can't tell if I'm just full of anxiety due to my last experience or my gut is telling me something is wrong. I wouldn't even say I've had proper spotting, it's just a slight discolouration but I'm hypersensitive about it. I know if I mention it to the GP they'll just send me for a blood test to check hCG levels, but last time my hCG levels were really high despite it being anembryonic so I know that won't give me any reassurance.

I told myself I'd be more relaxed this pregnancy, but I don't seem to be able to manage it. It doesn't help that I don't really have any symptoms, but that isn't all that unusual for me.

Kathi154 · 26/03/2026 09:42

I think everyone’s right and it must vary by area, I called my EPU with pain concerns (first pregnancy, no previous losses) and they’ve give me scans at 5 weeks, 6 weeks and another scheduled for 8 weeks. Definitely worth calling them to see.

Dee51121 · 26/03/2026 13:32

Thanks @Kathi154 I don't want to waste anyone's time, but I am considering calling them next week and hamming it up a bit so they potentially agree to scan me.

I've just been to the doctor's and told I have a UTI so that may explain the discolouration when I wipe. I'm hoping it doesn't have any impact on the pregnancy.

Kathi154 · 26/03/2026 14:23

@Dee51121 definitely see how it goes, I hope the UTI resolves quickly! When I phoned them I was really straight up that I didn’t want to waste time and be melodramatic, just described my symptoms and they were really great.

DorsetGirl89 · 27/03/2026 03:47

@Dee51121 sorry if I missed it but how many weeks are you? Have you had any cramping accompanying the discolouration? Is it continuing? If the colour is quite light it could just be the uterus clearing out I've had that on and off. I was referred to EPU at 4+2 weeks because I had bleeding at 4 weeks. They couldn't see anything on the scan but HCG was rising, last scan at 7 weeks showed we most likely lost a twin at 4 weeks which caused bleed, but one pregnancy doing well. Initially nobody was too sure whether to refer me to EPU so early, because there wasn't much they could do or see but I was very anxious and after early chemicals last year they agreed. Once in the system they scan regularly. I think you have good reason to get a referral given your history and ongoing spotting, they will be more than happy to see you I think, it's just getting the referral past the 'gatekeepers'. I have a great GP, she was prepared to refer me, but actually I'd already had a referral from 111 that morning, so there are a number of routes to get a referral. Sorry you're going through this anxiety, I hope you find answers soon and all is well for your pregnancy ❤️
