Welcoming all those who have received their BFPs for a November bubba - congratulations to all!
I felt terrified as not really TTC #2 but thanks to support from the kind ladies of MN I’ve decided to embrace and be excited.

34, baby #2, probably keeping it a surprise(?!) mum to a 7yo DS, hoping only 1 in there as only 3 weeks today and heft symptoms already

@PepperPot88 sooo grateful!
@CrazyKJ that's such great news on your scan. Such a relief!

Welcome and congratulations @incognito1991I’m so sorry for your loss, that’s heartbreaking. Not on the same level, there’s lost of women here who have experienced miscarriage and feeling anxious, so you’ll be well supported here

Thank you! It’s great to have a support system of women going through the same journey I can’t wait to go through it with everyone

Happy to find this thread! Hi November parents! Got a positive test (or 4 of them 😅) on Thursday, after trying for a second for a year. I’m anxious to get a few weeks down the line and get a private scan and see how things are going.

Jellybeancloud · 21/03/2026 20:10

Hello all, I've been lurking on here for a couple of weeks now and thought I should finally say hi 🖐Im currently 6 weeks 1 day. This is my first ever pregnancy, at 39. So I'm really nervous, I've booked a private scan for next Sunday.

Always09 · 22/03/2026 11:55

Hi all, joining as I got a surprise although very welcome BFP yesterday. This will be number 3 (it will also be the exact same age gap between my first two!)

I’d also love to join the fb group (found them so useful with my first two and still do!), but I think the link might need updating if anyone wouldn’t mind sharing please? Thanks!

CSR721 · 22/03/2026 13:31

New link for those who want it - sorry! I cant seem to make it last any longer! Perhaps if people want to join you can DM me or tag me in a post and I'll send the link to save me spamming the thread with the link all the time 🙈

@CrazyKJthat’s amazing news! So pleased for you 🫶🏼 I’ve been struggling with nausea today really badly 🥹 I just keep telling myself it’s a sign of a healthy pregnancy and that’s getting me by. Jacob’s crackers coming to bed with me tonight 😂

Thank you 🥰 the nausea is kicking my
butt at the moment too 🙈 I’ve only had this level of sickness and nausea in my sons pregnancy, so taking that as a good sign for us both! X

SuenoNB · 22/03/2026 18:55

Hello. A little bit of a lurker here, because I'm actually due on 31st October (spooky baby!) so hope it's ok to post. Feel too far behind for the October group and a bit ahead for here! Nausea and sickness are really ramping up for me (8+1). What are you all managing to eat? Need some better ideas of things to try as my aversions are terrible. Had them in my pregnancy with my daughter, but we lived on a boat then so the cooking facilities were completely different to what we have now, and I'm just at a loss. Also have such strong memories of vomiting up scotch pancakes (sorry for tmi) so can't go back to my previous backup!

Mrscmay17 · 22/03/2026 19:26

Hi All, I was originally in the oct group as my EDD was 28th of Oct but they changed me to Nov as I was measuring 7w2days when I should have been 8 weeks. I have a reassurance scan on 3rd of April so hoping to see some growth ❤️
All going well this will be our 3rd baby with a 6 year gap. Trying to stay positive but very nervous for the follow up scan! Hope everyone is feeling good !

Hello 💕 I should hopefully be 8 weeks now all going well ! I’m currently finding eating small & often helps, when I go too long without food I start to feel the nausea. Oranges, apples or crackers are good for me atm but I also crave salty McDonalds chips so much !

LPR16 · 22/03/2026 20:51

Congrats @SuenoNBI may also be a late October too, had an early scan that put me at 8 weeks on Friday. We had originally thought my due date would be 5th Nov

lhun3 · 22/03/2026 23:01

I’m still quite early on this journey, due end of Nov but have another 2 weeks until my viability scan as I went through IVF on the NHS ☺️

Yesterday my DH noticed that my ear was swollen and today is so much worse! Coupled with the worst hayfever of my life I am struggling with sneezing, eye scratching and congestion! I don’t know if it’s related to the hayfever or ear infection 🥺

Any one have any suggestions?? Hayfever or ear infection help would be great 👌

Good morning ladies. Conversation was had with DP on Friday night. Was definitely a shock and I don’t know where we stand. He is definitely very scared about becoming a father. Like I said before I don’t want to force him into something he doesn’t want but I don’t think I can go through with the other option. We are at a stalemate. No helped by the fact that we only had until Saturday afternoon to talk as he had to fly out for a business trip. I don’t want to discuss it over the phone.
feel lost.
so I took myself to the gym to get out of my head and into my body. It helped a little.

any other mums to be feeling very unpregnant? My boobs are still tender and huge but all other symptoms have disappeared (I’m 6+3) by this stage with my Dd I was best friends with the toilet bowl

DorsetGirl89 · 23/03/2026 07:57

In the interest of science...

I'm 7 weeks tomorrow and I've been getting dye stealers for a while, but haven't tested the last couple of days, this morning I tested and the test line was a touch lighter. As it was 4am and I couldn't sleep (a recent joy of pregnancy!) I panicked and turned to Google, I discovered the hook effect can sometimes overwhelm the strip and make the line start to turn lighter. The way of finding out is to dilute your urine with 50% water and test again, and if the second one is darker it's definitely the hook effect. Well I just got the courage to finally do that as I really didn't want to stress myself if it wasn't confirmed hook, and the second one is darker again, so definitely the hook effect! I just find this real time body science stuff absolutely fascinating, and thought I'd share in case anyone else reads this and panics if they're still doing strips which start to get lighter.

I have an early viability scan at EPU today, so keeping everything crossed 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 hope all you lovely ladies are doing well xx

Ah how interesting, I wouldn’t have known about the hook effect either.
Crossing everything for you at your scan today! X

Yes @BrimfulofSachai am feeling very unpregnant too! Haven’t had my viability scan yet but BFP and bloods checked by GP.

Little symptoms so far and I’m 5 weeks but this is my first pregnancy so struggling to know whats
normal 😂

watermelonsugarx · 23/03/2026 09:42

I hope your scan goes well today @DorsetGirl89 😊 x

it’s my first too @lhun3 so I’m pretty much the same 😅

BrimfulofSacha · 23/03/2026 09:48

Part of the reason this pregnancy was such a shock is that I have an IUD. Have just got off the phone with the GP who has referred me to the EPAU. I should hear back with them with an appointment for an ultrasound in the next couple of days to locate the IUD and make sure the pregnancy isn't ectopic. DP will not be able to join me for a hand hold as he is working overseas until Thursday.
I don't have any pain so I hope it is ok.
DD still has no clue, 16YO's are really oblivious aren't they? haha. She'd absolutely know if morning sickness arives

@BrimfulofSacha I'm sorry it didn't go great 😔 It might just take him a while to come round, and if he doesn't, you've got this. You haven't forced him into anything, this was a shock to both of you, going through with the pregnancy is the natural progression of things and isn't forcing anything on him at all. I honestly don't know if a lot of men ever feel ready. My other half and I were actively trying for a year but now I'm pregnant he's absolutely shellshocked. His son is 23 now and he joked the other day that he's still in shock he's a dad and isn't sure it's sunk in yet 😆 once he feels baby move his entire world will change, once baby is here he'll be absolutely in love. If he isn't, that's a bit weird to be honest and you'd be better doing it alone anyway. You and baby are the most important thing right now, he has to sort his head out on his own unfortunately. Sending lots of love ❤️

@CSR721 is the Facebook group you created hidden/called something unobvious? I don't want to join a group called "Babies due November 2026" and have it pop up as I'm a member! I joined one with one of my other children and we gave it a random name. None of the links seem to work for me either 🤔 they take me to the homepage rather than a group?

lhun3 · 23/03/2026 11:02

Couldn’t agree more @DorsetGirl89☺️ well said!

Are you on android? That was the issue for me. I had to go to settings on my mobile browser and select desktop site when that homepage came up and it immediately appeared as the group and I could join
