Welcoming all those who have received their BFPs for a November bubba - congratulations to all!
I felt terrified as not really TTC #2 but thanks to support from the kind ladies of MN I’ve decided to embrace and be excited.

34, baby #2, probably keeping it a surprise(?!) mum to a 7yo DS, hoping only 1 in there as only 3 weeks today and heft symptoms already

Morning all,

On the symptoms front, my symptoms are identical to previous pregnancies - on and off nausea all day, smell sensitivity and strong aversions to anything healthy (fruit or veg makes me feel sick). I’ve had a little bit of back pain and a little cramping on and off too.

Hope everyone is okay!

Im not here yet, but these were my exact symptoms too. The brutal aversion to anything remotely healthy was so so annoying!!
I couldn't cook for weeks as the smell of anything hot knocked me sick 😂

I’m 37! I think they need to come up with a better word than geriatric. This is my second, my first was at 30.
Im annoyed with myself… I’ve been checking progression on these little cheap strips every 2 days. It’s been getting darker each time. This morning I thought shall I just do one more for peace of mind and now I’m worried because it’s not darkened since 2 days ago. I wish I hadn’t bothered! I don’t know if it’s because it’s already as dark as the line will get or if there’s something wrong…

Look up the hook effect! When’s your first scan?

I'd be inclined to think it's as dark as it will go. I wouldn't worry, but if you do have concerns you can speak to your GP about getting a blood test

That looks darker to me, the lines more defined and dark ♥️. I stopped checking progression, in my last pregnancy I did this and kept saying yay I have a sticky bean!! But then had a missed miscarriage and surgery at 13 weeks so I think we are damned if we do and damned if we don't. I hope yours is a sticky little bean xxx

I totally appreciate the need for reassurance at this point, I’m exactly the same. But I was still testing postive with strong lines two weeks after surgery for my miscarriage. I’m saying this to say try not to worry about colour of the line yesterday

Hi just dropping in late to the party - got a bfp this week and due date would be 25th November. This will be DC3 for me - already have a nearly 8 and 5 year old and thought we were done!

RachFord · 14/03/2026 15:56

Joining here - got a BFP on a clear blue digital this morning after having faint lines for a few days. Due date would be around 22nd November and will be our first after trying for 12 months. I am a huge mixture of excited and nervous 🫣

Congratulations! How are you feeling? This is also my third and also thought I was done. Think I'm in shock and feeling emotional.

Welcome! At least you’ll know what you’re doing! I know what I’m doing with kids (teacher), but no idea with babies! 😂

BurningOutt · 15/03/2026 08:48

Hi @ApplepieGirl1 and @Supercornishstrawberry fellow mums of soon to be 3!

@ApplepieGirl1 how old are your kids? Im happy but also terrified…worried about the age gaps and hoping doesn’t disrupt their happy little lives too much. Also feel like maybe we’re mad going back to the hard days as life was getting easier!

BrightLemonQuail · 15/03/2026 09:55

Tentatively joining, positive on three tests on Tuesday with my first pregnancy, i think it places it me just over 5 weeks now. Woke up in the night and this morning very nauseous and have had some light cramping, feeling so anxious that something will go wrong it is really consuming me

Peachesthecat · 15/03/2026 13:32

Hey all, just to comment on the geriatric term! I’m 44 with a 19, 17 and nearly 3 year old so don’t worry! So still a week till my next scan. Bloods did go up well in the second hcg to over 20000. I’m still trying to be positive and starting to get sick feelings throughout the day. Part of me still convinced it’s all going wrong though! We told the kid today and they were so happy so I’m realy hoping g it goes okay. Xxx

Hey! Mine are 4 and almost 3. Had been a full on couple of years so worried if I will cope with another and was also just starting to get slightly easier! Hope the excited feelings will come.

Hey!! Can I ask how you find the age gaps? Mine will be almost 14 and 10 when this LO is here ♥️ nervous to start all over again but also super excited xx

Cramping can be very normal, but i completely understand the worry. Im trying to stick in the knowledge that today I am pregnant, and I am until told otherwise. Its really scary but thats helping me get by.

Of course not 😁 I have loved the ag gap! So much so we went again! Honestly, don’t stress. My older two are obsessed with their little sister! It’s als different doing it older than in my twenties, and I’m appreciating different things now. It’s realy the best decision we ever made so try not to to worry. It always works out xxxx

Peachesthecat · 15/03/2026 18:07

Also babysitters on tap for me at this point!
