Hi guys!
Had my 31 week midwife appointment yesterday. Baby is breech at the moment (which I suspected as can feel head in my ribs constantly!) 😫 and I don't have much faith they'll turn on their own as my other 2 were born breech 🤦‍♀️ so I guess we'll see! Got another appointment in 3 weeks and midwife said she'll refer me for a presentation scan at that point and take it from there - I'll be 34 weeks at next appintment so still time. In the meantime i'll be trying all the non-invasive stuff to try and encourage baby to turn.

Hope you're all doing ok x

On my way to a growth scan. Puking up a few times for good measure before I go in for the scan. 😑 Now the school has called and my little boy has been sick arghhh 🤯🤯🤯🤯. No rest for the wicked eh!

Glad I came in the leg centile has dropped and being referred to fetal medicine. Anyone else had this before?

Dullblue1234 · 18/03/2025 14:37

DD 6th may, but CS planned for 2nd May 💛

Can't believe it's coming round so quick! I have a 36w scan with my trust, 3 weeks to go til that!

Jess2826 · 18/03/2025 18:12

How exciting to see them altogether! We are quite boy heavy aren't we!
I don't know how those of you having surprises do it, I am way too impatient and wouldn't be able to wait to find out! 💛

LeBonBon · 18/03/2025 20:15

7th May 💙

Unlikely to make it to due date though!

32w6d today and had my 4th growth scan. Tiny baby is now 5.3 centile so gone up slightly from 3.7 centile and is tracking nicely upwards despite being small. Consultant didn't even feel the need to come in and scare me, hurray!

If he stays like this, we're looking to make it to the 39th week, so between 1-6 May.

BrightGoose · 22/03/2025 21:47

How is everyone getting on ?

SnakebitesandSambucas · 22/03/2025 22:27

Bloody traumatic week for me. Baby and me are still here 30 weeks. But was touch and go. Got a second growth scan on Tuesday! I love this baby so much but I don't think I can cope mentally!!! Glad I got the support

Rainbowsunshine81 · 22/03/2025 23:40

Had some bleeding today, so came to maternity assessment unit. Being kept in overnight to keep an eye on things. Trying not to get anxious.

SnakebitesandSambucas · 22/03/2025 23:49

@Rainbowsunshine81 are they doing frequent OBS? Monitor, BP etc. speculum for checking cervix? X

Rainbowsunshine81 · 23/03/2025 00:27

@SnakebitesandSambucas they did a speculum in maternity assessment unit, cervix was long and closed, they could see a small amount of blood, I was on the monitor in the assessment unit, blood pressure, temperature and my heart rate, felt my tummy and listened to baby's heart beat. Had paracetamol through IV cannula.
On maternity base, repeated blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, been on the monitor again and they were happy. Had more paracetamol through IV cannula. X

BodeAkuna · 23/03/2025 01:16

This happened to me too Recently- it was so scary

BodeAkuna · 23/03/2025 01:17

Do you know if you’ll be able to go tomorrow? We are so close to the end now. - Hope the scary episodes stop

Toothfairy0113 · 23/03/2025 04:50

@SnakebitesandSambucas & @Rainbowsunshine81 hope you're both ok❤️
I had a threatened pre-term labour with my youngest (now 9!) at 32 weeks - I ended up being admitted to hospital for 2 days on what was my last day at university, over a hours drive from home, before starting my mat leave 🙈 One of my tutors had to drive me there and waited with me for a while, I hadn't packed my hospital bag or anything so husband had to scramble around and pack what he could beore being brought over by a friend so we could take my car back when I got out 😅 Can laugh about it now but it certainly wasn't funny at the time.
I'm 31+6 today and pretty much packed my hospital bag yesterday.. Had been feeling a bit edgey all week so husband just said 'come on, lets just go grab what you need for it' so I could get it done and feel much better now.

Rainbowsunshine81 · 23/03/2025 07:23

@Toothfairy0113 Haven't had much sleep on the ward, seagull's going all through the night, buzzers going off, alarms going off, trying to get comfy.
I've got things together for my hospital bag, but haven't packed it yet, 31 + 6 today. C section going to be at 38 weeks as placenta still covering cervix.
This is the first episode of bleeding I've had, took me by surprise, quite scary.

Poster57 · 23/03/2025 07:43

Goodness sounds like a few of you have had a scary time recently. Hope things improve and you can have a more settled few weeks. It’s so strange to think how far along we all are now.

BrightGoose · 23/03/2025 07:48

Aww bless you hope you manage to get home soon and keep baby cooking a litttle longer….. must be super scary.

I passed out a few days ago and that has really scared me I didn’t get checked at the time but I have the midwife this week so I will mention it to her. Anyone else feeling sore when I get up in the morning especially after work I feel so sore

SnakebitesandSambucas · 23/03/2025 10:14

Well I'm at home now, but HG has me horizontal. But baby is back to normal. Ahhh seagulls 😉 I wonder if you are in a similar area to me! Good they are being so thorough. Not this pregnancy but with my eldest every time I had a gallbladder attack it nearly started / did start pre term labour so was pumped full of drugs managed managed to hold of till 38weeks though. If you pass out important as your BP low or high can cause baby to go into distress. First hand experience here! Any bleeding at all is terrifying I only had that 1 occurrence 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻. But it puts your 🧠 into 🔥 🥶 panic mode! Hope you have a nice mother's day everyone and 🤞🏻 it's a peaceful week!!

Toothfairy0113 · 23/03/2025 10:50

@Rainbowsunshine81 oh gosh! I had multiple episodes of bleeding up until 18 weeks and it really is terrifying. I didn't have any with my other 2 so found my pregnancy so stressful early on. I was at early pregnancy assessment unit 3 times in a week at one point. Oooohhh, good old seagulls and ward noise 🫠 Hope you manage to get a bit more rest today ❤️

Oh @BrightGoose how scary!! Hope you're feeling a bit better now ❤️

@SnakebitesandSambucas can't imagine how awful HG has been for you.. I'm very fortunate to not have vomitted this pregnancy but the nausea has been unbearable at times so can't imagine HG ❤️ I remember one day in October half term last year I spent a whole day in bed sleeping because even the thought of the fridge door was making me heave 🙈

Rainbowsunshine81 · 23/03/2025 11:23

@SnakebitesandSambucas I'm in Liverpool and the seagulls are a pain in the arse! I think I'm going to be allowed home this evening. It's horrible when you see the bleeding, I think I might have overdone things.

Rainbowsunshine81 · 23/03/2025 11:25

@Toothfairy0113 I'm hopefully being allowed to go home this evening and be in my own bed.
This is the first time I've had bleeding and did take me by surprise. Seagulls having a party all night.

SnakebitesandSambucas · 23/03/2025 16:12

Honestly it's so bad, just lying horizontal then my little girl wants to try and play. I sit up and then throw up. Tummy spasms. And the thought of opening the fridge....... 🤢🤢🤢. Lost so much weight as well. Glad you are going to be discharged. Into the final hurdles. Got my snuzpod but its too low so need to make a stand for it. I have the urge to nest. But the HG means I'm just flat on the bed it's so frustrating and feel like crying 😭 😭. I love Liverpool got relatives close to Formby and Wirral. I used to call that big building the "Saliva birds" 😉😂. Seagulls are noisy terrors but make good parents so maybe I should listen to them 😆. These babies are keeping us on tenterhooks!

Rainbowsunshine81 · 23/03/2025 19:18

Home now and looking forward to my comfy bed. I will not miss those bloody seagulls!
We've got the Mama's and papas Lua bedside crib for our bedroom this time, like the idea you don't have to attach it to the bed.
Hope you're feeling better soon @SnakebitesandSambucas my friend was telling me about these ginger sweets you can get from Holland and Barrett, said they were very good.
