Oh gosh, I just thought, there may not be very many more of these threads - I wonder if this one may even be the last?!

@PinkWatermelon88 not rude at all, I turned 40 end of December as I fell pregnant. So baby needs to arrive before 40 weeks. I'm booked in for 39+5.

@PinkWatermelon88 it's funny how maybe a few months can make such a difference. It apparently due to risk of still birth doubling (despite still very low) so they like baby out by 40 weeks

@WinsandSam absolutely! And hey whatever keeps baba and mama safe I’m all for. Be interesting to see what they say. I’ve been trying to stay away from induction and epidural like I had with #1 but safety first x

Our beautiful baby girl Indigo Rose was born on the 30th August at 17.33 weighing 7lbs 1oz through emergency c section.

I had the balloon and hormone drip but after 12 hours my body refused to dilate or show any signs of progress baby girls heart rate was dropping so me and my partner took the decision to get her out before she got too distressed.

I had prayed for a vaginal birth, but in total honesty now she’s here I don’t care at all that I’ll never have a vaginal delivery. She’s an absolute angel and looks just like her sister besides a head full of dark hair

Hi all, baby boy born on Tuesday by c section. We are both doing really well and just enjoying the newborn bubble. Bit of scary entry to the world planned section turned into an emergency a few hours before but we got there! He is just eating and sleeping. I wish you all the best on your arrivals and congrats to those who have arrived. Cannot believe he is here after all this time! I also can eat a full meal!! 😂can't wait to sleep on my tummy in a few weeks.

I have had the laaaaaaaaziest day today! Well I was up at 8am to try for oasis tickets. Daughter got through at 1.37pm!!! 😭🙀 Exhausting and then the rest of the day I have just laid about and done bugger all but I feel exhausted and like I need it! Even tho there is still loads to do 😭 will try to have a productive Sunday 🥺

@TripleESept24 that's ok! Some days I literally do nothing and feel my body needs it. Other days I do too much. All about balance and not overdoing it now

Fingers crossed this is it ladies, I'm 39+2 weeks, woke up early today and have just had a funny feeling all day. We went and did grocery shopping and I just couldn't get it out my head that something has started, baby was really wriggling and hurting me. Then this afternoon/early evening I've been to the toilet alot (💩sorry) and felt like I've had irregular tightenings at the front and back (baby is back to back as far as I know) like period pains. It's not Braxton hicks as it's slightly painful and doesn't stop if I move position, this is 4th baby so hoping I know the difference by now 😂🤞🏻I also just have the nervous/butterflies feeling in my stomach and haven't been hungry at all (even though I'm usually starving). Wish me luck x

@SantasRubiksCube eeek how exciting!! Fingers crossed for you, the best of luck hopefully you can get some sleep in tonight before they ramp up! Can't wait for the update tomorrow saying baby has been born 🙊
