Also to add to the ball bouncing, date eating, walking, nipple stimulation...... We had sex!! Woohoo!! Lolz last night and this morning 🤞

That's what worked for me last time I got my plug come away and started contracting a few hours later! Come on baby girlllllll 🩷

Hi all, 37+6 today. Out for the day and just been to the loo and there was the small streak of pink blood. Panicking slightly. Not quite sure what to do. I’m a good bit away from home.

@Demi55 triage have said to monitor it and call back if it gets any worse. Just wish I was home as I feel a long way away at the moment.

Anyone got any tips on how to deal with afterpains? 😖 I'm taking paracetamol and ibuprofen regularly and I knew to expect them and that it's normal but as this is 4th baby and they say it gets worse with each one, it's like being in early labour again at some points (especially trying to breastfeed) 😫

@SantasRubiksCube are you still in the hospital - ask them for something a bit stronger? Congrats on your baby!

Hope I haven't missed any other arrivals, if so congrats to you too!

DS is just coming up to 3 weeks and had really bad constipation last night for the whole night, still unsettled today but has had dirty nappies. He is formula fed. Is there anything I can give him? I'll go to the pharmacy tomorrow but I know they'll say I need to go to GP - fat chance of an appointment!

Not sure if I'm just feeling hopeful........ but......

Tonight I have really bad lower back pain and the pressure down there is crazy!!! When I'm sat on the toilet I literally feel like I can feel a head in the perineal area and like everything is popping out!!

I've taken some paracetamol and am trying to rest up/get some sleep Incase something is going to happen!!

@TripleESept24 I was the same yesterday and overnight- bad lower back pain, lots of pressure and tightenings. I have no idea if it means anything though!

@Caroline2023 it didn't 😣😓 just one of the worst nights hardly any sleep up and down every hour in extreme discomfort and weeing!!!

@TripleESept24 I had a terrible night too. Next to no sleep so I feel dreadful today. At least if it was labour it would be worth it. Just eaten my medjoul dates and feel dreadfully sick.

@tierneytarny I know right I'm going to feel exhausted all day. I felt really sick all night too.

I'm going to go for a walk to the shops today and pick up some more dates!

The only positive I suppose is that last Tuesday at midwife babies head wasn't fully engaged..... With the pressure i am feeling I would be VERY surprised if she isn't right there and can feel the head when she does an internal/sweep because I can feel the head literally pressing on my perineum!!!!!!

@TripleESept24 I’m sure baby is close. Fingers crossed the walking and the dates help get things going and baby is in your arms soon.

I have a feeling a have a few more weeks (38 weeks today). I’m not even convinced baby is head down. I’ve had an unstable lie so though baby was head down last week, from kicks, I’m not convinced baby still is.

I thought some of my waters went this morning so I’ve just been in MAU. They’ve said the swab is negative so sent me home to keep an eye on things.

@tierneytarny oh bless you! Ask at next midwife Apt if baby is head down! I'm 40+3 today, so very ready she will only be a week max now as 10 days over is when they'll induce me.

@Caroline2023 oh so no waters have gone?? I had a weird dream last night whilst I did get some shut eye that I woke in a puddle of wet!!

@TripleESept24 they said the swab was negative but I don’t understand! Was enough to soak through my pants, pjs and the bed, and wasn’t urine 🤷🏼‍♀️

How odd! So long as they aren't concerned. Hopefully it's a sign something is going to happen how many weeks are you/are you dilated yet? Xx

Baby Aidan Atvar arrived yesterday at 14:31 weighting 3,3 kg.
I had an induction Friday evening with two pessaries which followed an onset of labour.
we are now in hospital waiting for all checks to be completed.
picture is not from an incubator, my labour room had weird neon lights 😂 it looked like a club

@TripleESept24 I’m asking for another presentation scan on Weds so we’ll know then.
