@TripleESept24 if you're feeling anxious over it would you consider moving the date back a few days? Not something everyone is comfortable with but if you're having healthy blood flow to the placenta & the structures show ok on a scan, could potentially be an option? Obviously would be a more nuanced discussion with your care team though.

I'm going to discuss at Wednesday's appointment I went 13 days over with daughter 20 years ago, they seem to only want 10 days over now. My mum was induced with both me and my older brother, and she did say second child/induction was quicker I was out within 5 hours.

So I might be worrying over nothing and the induction could be quick/fine.

@TripleESept24 it could be absolutely fine as well, especially since your body has done this before. ❤️ A lot of my friends have very positive induction stories so I think often the ones you hear the most of are the scary ones - but that's not necessarily everyone's experience.

My baby boy arrived this morning via c section 🥰

To the other c section ladies, please don’t worry! It is a bit scary and a strange feeling - I found the numbness somewhat uncomfortable and it’s a bit tricky to hold and feed baby without control over my body - but it was all pain free. I’m now 6 hours post surgery and the feeling in my legs slowly returns, but still no pain. I’ve been reassured by lovely midwives that I just need to ask for further pain relief, if needed.

Hi all, congratulations to those who have had their babies recently 🎉 and hugs to those feeling anxious and still waiting for their babies 🤗
Had another sweep today and midwife said cervix is thin and stretchy, she could feel babies head and doesn't think I have my mucus plug anymore (although no idea when that would of gone as I've not noticed anything). I've come home and done some housework, still hoping baby will come without the need for the induction I'm due to have on Tuesday 🤞🏻 currently 41+2 so he's got to come out sooner or later, I've really had enough now.

Has anyone had a sweep? I had one Thursday afternoon and had some deep red bleeding when it happened. Since then I have had brown discharge. I was wondering if anyone else has had the same experience more than 48hr after?

I’ve been utterly devoid of energy today, there are still so many final things to do but I’ve just run out of steam. I’m nervous for Tuesday and so convinced things will go wrong… as I usually am one of the bad statistics fertility wise! It’s so hard not to worry. I still can’t visualise having a baby by my side in <72 hours.

Thank you @Caroline2023 and @TripleESept24 thats put my mind at ease, think mine has failed tbh. I’m 39 weeks tomorrow but they won’t let me go too fair overdue.

@Demi55 I'll have another on Wednesday at 40+5 hoping a second one may do something if nothing happens before!

@Cinai2 ah congratulations and I hope you feel so proud of yourself!! I know you've been as anxious as me about it so it's amazing you got through it so well.

@TripleESept24 I have one on Tuesday then if that doesn’t work I’m hoping one on Thursday - I have a growth scan and if she has dropped again then they wanna induce me pretty quickly, so I’m hoping to avoid that! 🤞for us both!

First time using the app version of mums net so no idea of this will work, but I'm back in hospital!

Balloons out, I'm 4cm, I've had some bleeding and they're able to break my waters - just waiting on when they have time to do so :)

Currently sat on a birthing ball to get baby boys head back down as the balloon pushed it back up.

I'm apparently having contractions and didn't even know it! So will have to see how the rest of the night and morning goes, either way this time tomorrow ill probably have an actual real life baby!

Awwww yay!! Hope the rest of the evening goes smoothly and you have a baby tomorrow!! Alot of my family guessed the 15th for me....... But no signs right now 😭

Finding this no sleep business unbearable this week 🙈

I'm exhausted, and from 9-11pm baby is so active and her kicks hurt so much along with the lightning crotch I can't sleep through it. So lay there waiting for her to sleep so I can sleep

Then I wake up every hour for a wee

Then it takes me forever to get back to sleep because my husbands snoring is SOOO loud, alongside me feeling sooo poorly still with HG.

I've been awake since 3 again today cus my husbands snoring was keeping me up, came n laid on the sofa downstairs but then started vomiting. Peed my pants so had to go back upstairs to change. Then sick again. Then brush my teeth. Now still laid on the sofa at 5am with my back killing me, a banging headache cus I'm so tired yet I can't sleep!!

@BeautyAndTheBump1 that sounds awful! I'm with you though, the nights feel so long because I wake up so often, if it's anything like my first I slept better when he got here even with all of his nightly wakes! So there is hope there 😂

I have my section tomorrow morning and can't get my head around it! Have also caught my sons stinking cold - can't wait to meet her now though! 💕

Morning all, baby Cube decided to make an appearance early hours of the morning weighing 8lb 8 ounces, he's doing good apart from being the loudest baby on the ward when I try to put him down 😅 I'm exhausted as I've had no sleep but did it all with just gas and air and managed to avoid tearing this time 🎉 obviously still feeling very sore and delicate though so can't wait to get some sleep 😴
