General question - has anyone else had COVID after 28 weeks?

Do you recommend maternity pads or those wearable knicker type? I can't decide what's best to buy

I’ve bought both because I wasn’t sure which to pack. 🤷🏿‍♀️

I used pads first time but was thinking of trying the knicker type this time.
Only thing that I think would annoy me is having to take pants fully off to put clean one on.

Going to get both and see

I’ve brought disposable pants that I can put pads in, I bled a lot with my last baby and decided for the first few days this would work better than having 50+pairs of pants ruined/unwashable x

Has anyone else found that being pregnant has bleached their underwear? I’m assuming it’s hormones or something I have plenty of ones I can Chuck now 😅 but happy to read the advice of disposable ones and pads 🙏🏻

Yes it’s really weird. I notice it on my black underwear and have no idea why it’s bleaching like that. Unless the discharge is acidic 😳

@Ebonythoughts yes same here! I only wear black so they’re all ruined so I’m thinking of using them for birth then just getting new ones after

As of today we officially have everything on our list related to preparing for baby. For some reason in the country I live in now it's impossible to find a multipack of basic babygrows/sleepsuits, they're all individual and patterned etc.. Very inconvenient. I found some individual ones on a sale rack thankfully.

it is mad to think some of us will meet our babies in the next few weeks. I’m just almost 31 weeks so 36 weeks feels so soon now to be going in. I’ve pretty much all sorted for baby thou so just need to start putting my own hospital bag together.

anyone else notice their bump dropping lower? I noticed this morning she felt low but when I put on my usual coat I really noticed the change, I’ve room up high again and it’s more snug down low.

I've started noticing my nipples are like wet to touch but I don't see anything on my bra, are they starting to leak?

No not yet @CheeseAndCrackersx im sure that’s from 37 weeks. Mine have been leaking weeks normally when warm 🤣 xx

I was at a birthday party today and I feel like I've been beat up because the chairs at our friends house were hard and not very supportive. My body is so sensitive! 😂

I think nesting is kicking in 😄

Lying here really wanting to get up and clean but as I live in a flat I have to be respectful but I never have this urge 😂
And lastnight I sat making a list on my phone of all the jobs I wanna get done.

Oh it's totally kicked in for me too!! I have this urge to deep clean the entire house ASAP but it's physically impossible because I'm exhausted 😂
I managed to get the insides of the kitchen cabinets done and have now blocked out the days where I've scheduled different parts of the house for hubby and I to clean...
I am such a joy to be around right now 🫣🤣
