I'm currently 11dpo. Had a two faint positives yesterday followed by a positive clear blue this morning. This will hopefully be my second pregnancy due around 14th May by dates. Just wondered if anybody wanted to share the journey, symptoms and advice 🥰

@dangermouse34 hoping everything works keeping everything crossed for you.

@Twdfn123 - I am 5 weeks tomorow. No symptoms either. I've had cramping since over a week before I was due on so coming up for 2 weeks. This has worried me but people have reassured it's very normal.

Aside from that no symptoms at all what so ever and again from reading up I think it's also normal and symptoms tend to come out more after week 6.

It's hard not to worry isn't but maybe we should make the most of the no symptoms before they hit us hard lol.

I hope that's the case and it will be good news for both of us. I think I'm just paranoid as with my previous miscarriage I had no symptoms at all but with my son they hit me like a freight train super early on. 🥲

Fingers crossed for both of us!! Xx

miamiamia869 · 20/09/2023 12:03

Yes it's so hard not to worry especially when you suffered a loss before. I'm exactly the same and worrying something will happen but I try and tell myself there's no point worrying and put it to the back of my hand.

Thanks you. Fingers crossed for us both aswell. Let me know if you get any symptoms starting xx

TheBirdintheCave · 20/09/2023 12:11

@Twdfn123 All I had a five weeks was intense hunger, sore boobs and was very bloated. The nausea crept in by 5+4 and I'm now 5+6 and it's lasting all day like it did with my son which makes me feel very comforted as he's my only surviving pregnancy.

Thank you for that, I hope I get the same around 6 weeks! Never thought I'd wish for nausea lol xx

TheBirdintheCave · 20/09/2023 12:17

@Twdfn123 Yes, it's strange, I'm sitting in bed feeling like garbage but so happy about it 😂

Meggan123 · 20/09/2023 13:35

@Twdfn123 5+4 and no symptoms either really, I think its still just very early! Maybe they’ll kick in in the next 2 weeks but some ppl just don’t get nausea!

@LondonGirl1992 this website is great, you put in how far along you are and it gives you the stats on miscarriage and the percentage drops daily… https://datayze.com/miscarriage-reassurer

@Meggan123 thank you for the calculator! It's very reassuring indeed!

@Twdfn123 and @miamiamia869 , I'm 4+4 and I can feel some symptoms subsiding... But I like to think it's normal, how much more can my boobs grow at this rate, I've still got 35 weeks, they would explode! I'm also not feeling bloated any more.
I still feel tired though...

An extract of the "what to expect" book on not having symptoms below:

I had severe nausea with my son where I was bedbound for 6 weeks, and my miscarriage I had none whatsoever so I weirdly just want nausea to come :/ xx

@Nina7 that's reassuring, it's iust from my own personal experience for me no symptoms has not been positive so think I'm just overthinking.....

Meggan123 · 20/09/2023 15:38

@Twdfn123 I would try not to overthink and worry! I know its so hard after a loss to not compare pregnancies but I found this quote online… maybe symptoms will kick in soon! Xx

@Meggan123 That's a good one to remember :)

nh93 · 20/09/2023 17:29

Hi all, i went for a scan at the early pregnancy unit today as i was really worried about these cramps i've been getting & no symptoms plus discharge looked brown - anyway they offered me a scan and they couldn't see anything but did say it could still be really early (5+3) or possible ectopic/miscarriage - they sent me off for bloods so just waiting on results now! fingers crossed it's all good
just can't stop worrying :/ x

LBNM19 · 20/09/2023 17:36

Hi, hope you’re all okay today!

My last period was on the 18th of aug and I have a 28 day cycle.

I am still only getting 1/2 weeks on clear blue weeks indicator which is making me feel worried. Is this right?

LBNM19 · 20/09/2023 17:44

@nh93 It probably is because you’re too early. It’s such a worrying time. I hope bloods come back okay! X

Edited

thanks, i got my results back they said by pregnancy hormone levels were "111" and the progesterone was 64 which seems low?
i have to repeat in 48 hours
hopefully it doubles! x

che222 · 20/09/2023 18:01

I am 7+5 today and I still have basically no morning sickness. It’s scaring me!

Is there any sort of WhatsApp group set up for this group?

Holdmysunhat · 20/09/2023 18:24

@LBNM19 many people stay at 1-2 weeks all the way through and have healthy pregnancies. Hormone levels vary enormously. Apparently doctors often don’t like ClearBlue as they’re famous for causing unnecessary panic. My reading was 2-3 weeks at 1 week after ovulation and I was panicking about twins/potential Down’s syndrome. Still panicking a little about twins to be honest!

Meggan123 · 20/09/2023 18:26

@che222 try not to worry, my sister had 3 pregnancies and never had any symptoms, I also have a couple of friends who never felt anything either. If you read back in this thread it seems ‘no symptoms’ are a concern of many people here so maybe nausea isn’t as common as we may think!

MrsBFaith · 20/09/2023 18:39

Hey can I join 😊
Pregnant with my rainbow baby due in May after 3 recurrent miscarriages. I sought advice through Tommy's and I'm under Professor Quenby, my meds were tweaked in July and we managed to conceive in August.. very early days but things are looking positive Thank God 🙌🌈

LBNM19 · 20/09/2023 18:44

@Holdmysunhat I’m not surprised they are giving me a lot of anxiety. I bet you were very surprised that it said 2/3 weeks! Xx

I am thinking about doing another one later this week but I know I shouldn’t.

LBNM19 · 20/09/2023 18:45

@MrsBFaith congratulations! X

TheBirdintheCave · 20/09/2023 18:51

@MrsBFaith Congrats! There are quite a few of us in this group with rainbow babies so you're in good company :)

MrsBFaith · 20/09/2023 18:53

@LBNM19 Thank you congratulations too 💗

MrsBFaith · 20/09/2023 18:54

@TheBirdintheCave Thank you I think we were in the Aug TTC group too 😊 xx

TheBirdintheCave · 20/09/2023 18:59

@MrsBFaith Yes! I knew I recognised your name from somewhere :)

miamiamia869 · 20/09/2023 19:38

That's a really lovely quote @Meggan123 and I hope it puts minds at rest for people who have had previous losses. Xxx
