Empty 10mm sac at (what I thought) was 6 week. Help.

Hi all I’m so new to this.
im 43 and fell pregnant after trying for 3 months, this will be my 3rd. (2 teenagers)
I tested faint positive on 3rd just, the tests got very dark this week.
took myself off for a early internal scan yesterday as I have had brown discharge and some period like cramping and scared to hell of ectopic.
I was told there is a sac in the right place but no yolk or fetus. My sac measured 10mm which they said was 5 week.
im still having sore boobies, the worst back pain and sickness/headaches has just started yesterday.
really just after some reassurance as this 10 day wait is going to be so painful.

@Marchbug honey I’m so sorry 🥺💙 I had a week off. I had my d&c last Tuesday and I went back to work Monday. Buttttt I work from home still as I work in training and development. I don’t think I’d have gone back so soon if I was in the office.
I am having weird period cramps yesterday and today but very very little blood after the d&c. I was so nasty yesterday too. Pregnancy test is still positive but getting lighter thank god.

Did you go through the EPU? I declined mine at first - she tried offering me one during my ultrasound and I said no, she said if I changed my mind she can give me one and i just needed to ring. You could maybe try that? If that fails I suppose you could speak to your gp? Although I appreciate it’s Monday!!

@Ems1992 how is your bloating now? Are you testing negative yet? 🩵

@EmsEms1992 yeah she said can ring, will see how next couple of days go. Work are aware as needes yesterday off so could self cert I guess. I do MTW so would cover me for next week.

I have no pain really, minimal loss but have been sooooo factual the past few days I feel like am going to hit a wall (I'm a super emotional person so am aware I'm not processing as normal for me)

No I’m still testing positive!
All pregnancy symptoms have gone now… But still positive and having on and off spotting.

I am enjoying being able to eat, I am eager for my cycles to sort themselves out but also terrified to try again!

@Wen19 @Ems1992 ah girls. Day after D&C and now I feel so sad. Woke up this morning and was like 'oh, that's that then'. Trying to do positive things like eat a bit better and have been for a slow walk. But honestly feel just so deflated 😭

@Ems1992 in taking comfort in the fact you are also testing positive still! Yes I seem to be having on and off brown spotting still and the odd cramp. No sign of a period yet but I am scared to try again also ❤️‍🩹 xx

@Marchbug @Ems1992 honestly I felt the same the day after. I cried when I woke up. I think it was reality kicked in. Every day gets easier I promise. But I do keep thinking like it should be 10 weeks now etc 😞 I feel sad from time to time. Xxxx

How are you doing?
I started my period yesterday exactly 4 weeks after my D&C, I was so relieved that my cycle has clearly not suffered!
Also been testing negative for a week(ish) now. Hope you are well Xx

Hi ladies, been thinking of you. I am back at work, it's been good for me actually. Felt the most normal I have been feeling yesterday. Got letter from hospital yesterday too, just standard post D&C letter I think. I think I ovulated from ewcm which would've been 11 days post procedure which would be normal for my cycle. Hard discussions coming re trying again. I want to, DP doesn't. Glad you're doing well @EmEms1992 and hope you too @Wen19 xx

i had my first period last week god I had the worst back pain with it. Not really too heavy tho.
mum not sure if I ovulated in between my tests said I didn’t but bbt said I did so 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣 .
starting again this week. Aw @Marchbug is there any reason he doesn’t want to try? 🥺

I am OVULATING during a heatwave which is great as you can imagine 🤣
We are trying… But trying to be more natural about it as last time we got to the point where we were like “let’s do it again to make sure… oh god again, I’m tired” 🤪🤪🤪

I recently had a registry office ceremony and our “wedding day” is in a few weeks and it would be lovely to find out after that we are pregnant but you know… also trying to be realistic!!

@Ems1992 aw babe you actually sound so happy and positive and that’s amazing!!!! 😃😃😃😃 I don’t envy you ovulating in this heat 🤣 I think I’ll be following later on this week 🤞🏻 and yeah we’ve already said we are going to try harder so starting from Tuesday we are on a marathon!

I thought I wouldn’t want to do all of this again but the sheer excitement of getting my period on time after my d&c and ovulating exactly the same way as before has changed my mood entirely 😂 also my mum saw a medium a couple of days ago and the woman said she sees my house as “it’s going to be a very busy house”
It must be a sign…… surely 🤣

I’m just waiting to ovulate now. I’ve had 3 flashing smileys but I have had really bad lower back ache since the miscarriage which is concerning me a little.
I can feel something happening I keep getting twinges so I am hoping the static smiley comes soon because my partner is off cycling next weekend 🥹
weve spent bloody loads of money on procieve max, fertility lube, procieve omega 3, bloody clear blue advanced 🤣 xx

Nothing this month except a very insanely heavy period, like more so than I’ve ever had before. My body clearly needed it! As the period after my d&c was virtually nothing so I think this was the real deal and then some… Hopefully my womb is primed and ready to go next month 🙄🙄🙄🙄

@Ems1992 wow exact same!!!! I’ve just come on and it’s so heavy! But the one after the d&c wasn’t.
i have had the worst back ache since the d&c also.
I defo ovulated last month as my temp says so and clear blue, but no catching on.
hopefully this month for us both 💜🩷💙

@Wen19 @Wen19 we are about to start trying again this weekend! Long story short is that we will see what happens for the rest of this year and then reassess. I really hope it happens though the pressure feels so much!

Had another horrific period last month so I’m hoping my body has gotten back to normal now, I am a couple of days off ovulation so fingers crossed. How about you? X

@Ems1992 same!!!! I’ve just been to docs this month for bloods doing too. Had 4 days of blank faces on my clear blue advanced. Usually only have 2/3 so it’s unnerved me a little.
im hoping same, we just needed 3 months to get back to normal 💜
