Arrived at family’s this afternoon and I have just started spotting red 😫 I haven’t had any spotting since 24th March and that was brown. I feel sick, I just wish I was at home 😭

Can I join? I'm due 11th November 2023 baby number 3 x

So I think I'm 8 weeks I had a scan on Friday and all was good after 4 weeks of scans and nothing due to cramping and previous MC. However on Friday afternoon my nausea just disappeared. I'd only felt nausea from week 6-8 and now it's just gone. There was a heartbeat on Friday but I have had more stabbing pains since then. I'm trying to ring EPU again but worry I'm being overly anxious. Any advice or thoughts? xxx

@ConfusedMumma87 this sounds very similar to me. I had pretty bad nausea & other symptoms weeks 5-7 & I had a scan 7 weeks & saw a heartbeat. Then my symptoms just disappeared completely & I started having tenderness & pinching pains in my tummy. I emailed my EPU, for reassurance really & they invited me for a scan, all was well 8+1. Im
now 9+1 & some symptoms are creeping back in, loss of appetite, strong sense of smell & seriously tired. But I don’t really feel pregnant & still have doubts. I’d advise ringing for some reassurance if you need it, it’s no harm done! But hopefully you’re absolutely fine. Especially if the cramping is t severe & there’s no blood x

@ExcitedandNervousC1 I had a private scan on Saturday and when she was trying externally she was quite rough, so I’m wondering if that might have irritated something? I have a rescan from my visit to the EPU on 12th April, but that seems so far away, it was as close to 2 weeks as they could get with the bank holidays. I’m considering calling them and seeing if they can get me in any earlier, but I am away until 6th and a flight away, so can’t even easily travel home 😭 I have even just sat and looked at flights home, but anything today or tomorrow is so expensive for me my husband and 2DDs and it isn’t as if the EPU will even be able to do anything really. I am just so upset and homesick.

I would definitely call them if you're bleeding has changed they will want to see you sooner. Xxx

@BabyBabyBaby123 yes I would call them and see if they can fit you in the day you get back. I'm sure with your symptoms they will be able to. Hope the bleeding stops before then!

Just called and they said they are fully booked on Thursday cos it is only a morning clinic, so no guarantee we’d be back in time anyway, but that they have an emergency clinic over the bank holiday, so if the spotting continues then to call first thing Friday morning and they will try to fit me in. Keeping everything crossed that it eases, but I’m feeling so deflated.

Anyone waiting on scans this week? Scanxiety is real (I've even put a countdown clock on my phone until Friday :/ )

@ExcitedandNervousC1 i have an early scan booked for Friday when I’ll be 7+3. No idea what to expect as this is my first pregnancy, I’m just hoping it all goes smoothly! 🙌🏻

@ExcitedandNervousC1 it definitely is dragging! And it’s not until 6:45pm 🙈 I am also counting down the days because I am off work all next and can’t wait to sleep all day lol!

Ladies I know this is going to sound ridiculous, but I'm approaching the week and day that I started bleeding with my mmc last year and an having an absolute wobble... I've convinced myself that it's going to happen again and I've the absolute fear every time I use the loo... I'm trying to talk myself round by saying I'm so so sick this time but the anxiety is killing me. I've purposely not booked an early scan as I feel that it was a scud last time ( I know how stupid that sounds) but at the same time terrified of getting to 12 weeks and having a scan and nothing

@Chellooo not ridiculous at all. I'm in the exact same boat. I have my 8 week scan Friday and it was at this scan in November I learned I had had a MMC which left me devastated for months. I found it easier to have a scan now to find out but I completely understand your position.

I'm trying to tell myself a MMC is extremely rare and even more so to have 2 in a row so I'm holding onto that. But this week is very very hard and I'm crying a lot

@ExcitedandNervousC1 I have my scan tomorrow and set a countdown clock on my phone, I nervously keep checking it, only 17 hours and 12 minutes to go 🤦🏻‍♀️ don’t think I’ll sleep very well tonight as very nervous

@Chellooo not strange at all. I am exactly the same. Scan Friday at 6w+4 when we got the last mmc news. I am terrified!x

I hope it all goes well with the scans this week, it's so exciting, I may do that too @Mummytobe2023 I probably wont sleep much before mine either! I still have a good three weeks until its my time but i'm sure it'll be here before I know it :)
