@Mrsrobinsonx both my sore boobs and nausea have reduced since 6+5 so am in the same boat. Also had a MMC picked up at my last 8 week scan in November so am very nervous for my 8 weeks scan on Friday.

I've been reading lots avout symptoms reduction being quite normal though as the placenta comes in so I'm holding onto that. Do you have a scan soon?

ExcitedandNervousC1 · 02/04/2023 09:33

I should add I'm now 7+2 so 5 days til scan

Mrsrobinsonx · 02/04/2023 10:31

@ExcitedandNervousC1 I had a scan on Friday and all was well but I have a subchorionic bleed so may get more spotting etc.
I’m still nauseous I have been sick twice today but boobs were the only constant symptom and now i have a migraine instead which is a new one 🫣
good luck with your scan 🤞🏻

Sb86 · 02/04/2023 11:21

@Mrsrobinsonx have you been prescribed progesterone? I had a subchorionic hematoma with my last pregnancy and unfortunately lost it (not sure if it was the sch or another reason) but they noticed another hematoma in this pregnancy and because I've already had a mc they said I could have progesterone. Well actually I asked about it and they said they would give me some, I've got pessaries twice a day up until 16 weeks.

I feel so dramatic with how tired I feel. I feel like if I was to tell anyone how tired I really was, they'd think I was being dramatic being only 8 weeks and not 28 weeks. But God, I am knackered. I feel like I've been out till 4am every night, I'm absolutely exhausted. Anyone else feel this way? My sickness is minimal thank fully, only when I goto bed so I eat a few biscuits and it passes. Boobs have been painful from the start, I've had to get new bras as I'm already up a cup size 😂 as well as some soft ones to wear in bed because turning off feels like they're being yanked off my chest, so I need them to have little movement

DollyGx · 02/04/2023 12:59

Just had my 8 week scan and everything looking good thank god! Actually measuring at 7+6, got to see a nice strong heartbeat too which was amazing 🥰 still early days so trying not to get too ahead of myself, have booked another one for 2 weeks time when I’ll be closer to 10 weeks then I’ll wait for my NHS one. I had a MMC last year which was only picked up on my 12 week scan, I actually had a blighted ovum (empty sac, no baby) so the scanxiety was real today! So grateful to have good news and sending all the sticky baby dust to everyone else ❤️

JD90 · 02/04/2023 13:02

Well got an unexpected phone call this morning from epu asking if I can come in today instead as they've had a cancellation... yup I'm actually working in the same building right now so that's not a problem 🤣 so been in, been scanned, bean is in the right place (which was the only concern due to ectopic) measuring 5+3 which is exactly what I had worked out based on ovulation etc rather than 6+1 based on lmp so I'm happy! Too early to see the heart beat but everything is looking good. I feel much much better now, if not absolutely exhausted.

Mrsrobinsonx · 02/04/2023 13:12

@Sb86 no I haven’t, I don’t know if it’s classed as a hematoma as they said it’s only a ‘sliver’ rather than a large one but that it should go away on its own? They didn’t seem too bothered by it more happy there was a reason for the spotting. But they did say nothing they saw indicates a miscarriage so I guess it’s just a waiting game. I’m so nervous all the time, want to tell my family as it’s getting hard to hide how awful I feel some days but also worried incase anything goes wrong. X

Mrsrobinsonx · 02/04/2023 13:14

@Sb86 this was my scan, the bit I’ve circled is the bleeding.

Due November 2023 - part 2
Sb86 · 02/04/2023 13:36

@Mrsrobinsonx yes it looks small doesn't it, did they give you a measurement? I know from being on sch groups since our loss that they can reabsorb into the body, come out as a bleed and can even get bigger so it's definitely a waiting game. Yours looks smaller than that of mine so that's positive 😊 I've read stories of women having huge bleeds throughout and they've given birth to perfectly healthy babys. Not ideal at all and I can't imagine the stress that must cause so for now I'm thankful for mine being small and hoping it has disappeared by the next scan. Yours is also better because it's underneath rather than on top of the sac, I think mine is at the side but furthest away from baby. Fingers crossed for us both 🙏🏼 xx

Sb86 · 02/04/2023 13:37

@JD90 that's fab news and so glad you can finally relax somewhat x

Has anyone had brownish stringy discharge? I think I might be starting to miscarry again. This is how it started last time for me. Had very small bits of brown in discharge yesterday but it's larger today.

No bleeding yet but worried it will start in the next day or so.

NatGee · 02/04/2023 15:38

@Gingerbreadmama I believe you, I feel more or less the same as you. The nausea isn't as severe as it has been for some here but the boobs hurt and I just want to sleep all the time. I've been taking daily naps (thank the gods for wfh) for a few days now and today had a two hour snooze. Still tired. I take that over actually being sick, managing to keep all my food down. 8+1 today

NatGee · 02/04/2023 15:39

@Mrsbg1990 there already is a November group, if you look on this thread. I'd send you the link but I haven't joined. I believe there's also a WhatsApp group?

TTCJJB · 02/04/2023 15:53

@Gingerbreadmama If you worry about you being dramatic I'm only 6 weeks and the exhaustion is killing me.

I broke up from work for Easter on Friday lunchtime and I've done nothing but sleep. Woke up at 8am this morning and by half 1 I was asleep again for another two hours 😴

Mldn · 02/04/2023 15:58

Has anybody drank alcohol free beer? I had a few this weekend & now convinced I’m an idiot cos the internet seems so against them. I stupidly just assumed they’d be fine!

TTCJJB · 02/04/2023 16:20

@Mldn Yes I bought some (as have all my friends who have been/are pregnant) I thought they were vile though and have swapped to the kopperberg alcohol free ciders.

ExcitedandNervousC1 · 02/04/2023 16:48

@DollyGx congratulations on a good scan! I know it doesn't ease all anxiety but such a great result at this time!

Mldn · 02/04/2023 16:48

@TTCJJB thanks! I assume they’re safe. But I googled later in the day (because pregnancy sends you psychotic!) & so many things say to still avoid as they can contain tiny traces of alcohol ! I’m sure it’s harmless. Pregnancy is turning me into a crazy (very tired!) woman 😩

JJ2023 · 02/04/2023 18:59

@BudgetBuster definitely call your EPU or if you can’t contact them direct then call your GP to refer you to them - if you are over 6 weeks they will scan you. Sending love to you x

BudgetBuster · 02/04/2023 19:00

Thanks, I actually have a scan tomorrow anyway.
Don't have an EPU anywhere near me so will wait for private scan tomorrow.

ExcitedandNervousC1 · 02/04/2023 19:20

@BudgetBuster have my fingers crossed for you tomorrow! Best of luck!

medicmumma · 02/04/2023 19:31

7+3 today - anyone still getting cramps in their 7th week?

The logical part of me is trying to convince myself this is normal due to uterus expanding, etc but another part of me is so worried! Had a scan last week which showed my dates were likely accurate and a intrauterine embryo with a heartbeart so fingers crossed everything is still ok.

MooseWL · 02/04/2023 19:37

@Mldn non alcoholic beer will be fine! Orange juice can have 0.05% naturally occurring alcohol content so I wouldn't worry about a few non alcoholic beers!
