Well we got home yesterday at 3pm & it was lovely. Now it's f ing chaos here

She's not feeding well at all so I'm pumping like a cow, DH had to hold her in bed whilst I pumped so not shift sleeping as much we liked. DS bed wetting. Fun fun fun!!

@DKDK123 your son is so cute 😂🥰 to be fair he probs could get a job, there seem to be a lot of NHS vacancies 😂😂😂 so close!

Not much news here, thanks for the birthday wishes and hope you all enjoyed my bank holiday 😂 still dodging Covid, which is becoming more pressing as we're off to NI next week to do the big family tour. So can't catch it now!

Also, I've been watching this great Ozzie series on Netflix called The Letdown. It's all about being a new parent and it's really funny. Would definitely recommend!

Been to the midwife this morning. Got my MAT1B form, baby was punching the heartbeat monitor away (you could see it through my stomach lol) so much that the midwife had to go get a quieter one from next door to see if baby was more cooperative then. She was luckily :).

Have spent all morning struggling with IT issues so haven't been able to log in to work yet... which stresses me out immensely but oh well!

Well I couldn't be happier to be having a 3 day week ahead of our holiday on Friday, however, OH rang the estate agents this morning to see if they had more of an update than the solicitors, the estate agent who's dealing with our house wasn't in so it was someone else, and his shitty response was "well on our records it says the chain won't be broken until at least July" I'm sorry WHAT?!?! They're getting the man who's dealing with us to call us ASAP when he's in the office, we got told it would be an 8-12 week turn around and we drilled into both the solicitor and estate agents how crucial that period had to be and they were all very certain, we are now on week 12 and they're talking about July when we were given 2 weeks ago a possible date of the 27th-29th April?!?! The estate agents have been shit from the start so I'm hoping and praying it's their mistake and they haven't updated their system or something, honestly I'm livid but trying to stay calm

So frustrating @Vil10 hope you got somewhere today. DH lost his sh*t the day before we were supposed to complete when they did a uturn and said it wouldn't go ahead. This was 6 month in; He's usually the most chilled person ever but both sets of solicitors were rubbish and blaming each other, he rang ours whilst waiting outside the vendors solicitors ready to create a scene and basically made them sort it out 😆 definitely make a nuisance of yourself that they want to get rid of you!

DD in a real funny mood, 10:30 and she's already been in 3 different beds which never happens. She's upset but doesn't know why so I don't know if this is the start of "oooo errrr things are changing" not ideal as I'm not sure if my waters are leaking and the pressure down below for the last 2 hours has been unreal. DH finally took the hint and took her into the spare room with him so I can be in discomfort in peace 😬

@kaylsd it'll feel strange doing office work at first but as time goes on you'll definitley be relieved you're not on your feet all day, can stop for a pee or a rest when you need it and don't need to do nights anymore. One more step towards that end goal of meeting your baby 😊

@bez91 I'm totally with you on the nesting been and gone 😂 I look around and do see so much I want to have done but the actual energy to get up and do it is out the window.

@InkyPaper I agree, time for a pregnancy pillow, it might help your hip remember your body is constantly stretching and changing shape down there now so your ligaments are all softer and out of whack, welcome to the start of the aches and pains (but all a very good sign things are progressing normally).

@becarefuloutthere hope you had a great time with your niece, so lovely that they're so close in age hopefully they'll grow up to be best of friends, I loved growing up with my cousins, there were 4 of us within a 3year year age gap, loved them like siblings but as I didn't see them every single day we never fought like siblings so it was the best of both worlds 💕

Grrr MN is being temperamental again, usually I cut and paste across to the next page but it's not letting me cut tonight so will need to reply in 2 posts 🙄

@Minster2012 glad to hear that you're home now. Don't worry about DS bed wetting it's normal for them to regress when a new baby arrives and he didn't even get a good run of being dry beforehand so it's definitley to be expected. I'd maybe even put him back in pull ups for a few weeks till everything settles save one less clean up job and let him try again afresh.

@Juno231 looks like you've got a little live wire kung fu baby too 😂 When the consultant was scanning on Monday she was killing herself laughing as you could actually see DD make a fist on the scan and go searching to punch whatever area she had the scanner pressed into, it was rather comical to see on screen.

@Vil10 very frustrating on the solicitor front 😡 Ad hard as it is try to let your OH deal with them as much as possible so that you can keep your BP down, think of little bubs you're growing.

@Soph0105 5 poos, bet your day was erm fragragrant 😂 Are there any early teeth buds you can feel, that usually sparks some 💩 days.

@BellatrixK 12 week scan is another great milestone to hit. We all complete understand the scanxiety feeling and will be here to hold your hand all the way. 💕

@Minster2012 glad your PIL have been helping out, you'll settle into a wee routine with DD soon enough just remember the early days are chaotic and you'll be feeling extra shattered right now as though you're a first time mum as you've just came out of a pregnancy which is hard going as it is, into labour and now bam home here's a baby to look after, your body will still be in as much shock as hers is. With DS because you didn't have the pregnancy and labour part and all the postpartum hormones your body will at least have felt more refreshed and ready to get on with the lack of sleep etc. so it definitely will be feeling a bit harder to cope with this time round. Early days, you've got this 💪

@bez91 maybe she senses tonight is the night and baby's on the way! Call triage if you think your waters might be leaking, exciting stuff you've been doing well to try bring it on maybe tonight is thee night! 🤞🤞🤞

@Soph0105 oh no 5 poos 😭 maybe some teeth? My lowest point of motherhood was ringing DH at work in despair when DD had some kind of bug and we tallied 15 by about 3pm, luckily it passed as quickly as it came but definitely tipped me over the edge!

@DKDK123 little bits are doable but completely with you on the no energy. Yesterday I sorted my underwear drawer out into ones I think might fit me after the birth 🙄 do you have any plans today?
DD finally went to sleep about 12:15 with me sat by her bed, to be honest I was more comfortable sat up then lied down in bed and the pains passed by about 2am so I'm not sure what was going on. My waters leaked last time and the sensation was similar but this morning just seems to be discharge so I'll see how we get on today. They were only 3/5 engaged at yesterdays MW app so maybe they were just moving down 🤷‍♀️

@DKDK123 I did thank you, she's so tiny! 5.9 so it felt so strange holding such a small baby. Oh I love that, and hope that's how they end up. Our cousins were an hours drive away so we'd see a few every few weeks and the others less often so it'll be nice for my sisters and I to have kids who see each other more regularly.
