@TurquoiseDreamCatcher yep also knackered due to lack of sleep. @Belle2210 mine poped out as I was heading towards the third trimester. This time it seems to have been half out since 17 weeks

stimpyyouidiot · 11/05/2022 23:12

@Belle2210 mine never did pop out Smile

amorningperson · 12/05/2022 04:48

@Belle2210 mine popped out riiiiight at the end but only a little bit at the top

im also exhausted- writing this from bed at 4am have been awake since 3am… trying to avoid waking my other DC up but I really want a coffee!

Does anyone have a job on their feet? After my shift yesterday my (sorry if TMI) cervix was aching so much- anyone else getting this after long stints of standing?

TurquoiseDreamCatcher · 12/05/2022 08:22

@Belle2210 mine didn't pop out in my last pregnancy but it's quite deep to start with 😳 I don't expect it to pop out this time.

Last night I was blessed with restless legs. That was fun. I'm off to scour the internet to see if we can have anything for it during pregnancy.

annlee3817 · 12/05/2022 09:38

@TurquoiseDreamCatcher I was googling last night and apparently can be due to iron levels, going to start taking spatone ahead of the 28 week bloods to see if it helps.

ALYGirl · 12/05/2022 10:30

24 weeks today. Crazy to think we've reached the point where it is possible for my little boy to survive outside the womb. Hoping he stays inside until his due date though. Felt like I would never get to this point. Still not much movement but he did do his first proper kick the other night, just as my husband put his head on my tummy so magically he felt it as well.

Peauela · 12/05/2022 12:22

@TurquoiseDreamCatcher i am exhausted the past few days! I'm not sleeping to well, not sure why, I just wake up a few times at night, sometimes to pee sometimes without a reason...

@Belle2210 I don't think my belly button will pop out but it definitely opened up, lol it was always closed and kinda deep and now it's a huge hole 😂

Peasplease12 · 12/05/2022 15:34

Just back from the scan. little lady was Highly uncooperative in showing everyone all the bits that needed to be seen, but after a few sets of star jumps, a walk up and down the stairs and something sweet to eat we got there in the end.

Now we know it’s a girl I feel like sh*t has suddenly got real in terms of finding a name for her. We had just said we’d talk about it properly once we knew which set of names we were arguing about discussing

Sweetbabydust1989 · 12/05/2022 16:45

Feeling stressed today was in a car accident this morning not my fault bloody driver of the other car hit me only had it 2 weeks I just want to cry xx

madeleine85 · 12/05/2022 17:01

@Sweetbabydust1989 I am so sorry!!! That is rotten luck, and I am just glad that you are all ok. Hope the insurance covers everything/the other driver and you can get it fixed quickly. On the positive side, your car seat wasn't in for the little one so at least that won't need replaced. I think I read statistics recently that you are more significantly more likely to be in a car crash while pregnant than to have a stillbirth or something similar. Now whenever I get in a car I am so careful/paranoid, but you can't control other people on the road!

@ALYGirl that sounds lovely, also 24 weeks and barely any movement, though getting stronger gradually. Now if I lay down very still I get some down low. He was definitely trying to kick my DD yesterday :)

Sweetbabydust1989 · 12/05/2022 17:05

@madeleine85 oh definitely I am such a careful driver always have been as I don't trust anyone on the road. Oh I no lucky my kids weren't on the car either I had a check up at the hospital and baby is fine so I am happy.. the other driver admitted fault so his insurance will be paying out the cost xx

dkedm15 · 12/05/2022 17:06

@Sweetbabydust1989 oh no you poor thing! Are you okay?! Are you hurt at all? We had this when I was 10 weeks - someone wrote our back driver side door off a couple of weeks before we were due to swap to our new car! She instantly offered us cash and got very gobby and sweary because we said we'd be going through the insurance to the point we had to ring the police and then she drove off whilst police were still on the phone! This happened in Feb - still ongoing as she wasn't insured on the car (the person who's car it is doesn't even have a licence apparently 🤣) so completely feel your pain - never a good time for a bump but it's always at THE worst moment isn't it xx

Oh no. The most important thing is that you and your baby are ok. Sending lots of love 💕

Sweetbabydust1989 · 12/05/2022 17:36

@dkedm15 oh it's a nightmare thankfully I had a whiteness and he admitted liability straight away well he has to as It was a mini round about.. I am ok mentally drained and very sore on my right side as he went into the side of me.. thankfully my little lady is all good I can feel her kicking away I went hospital to be checked over but due to being pregnant I cannot have much treatment done. Just waiting on a hire car and obviously them collecting mine as repairs are being done through the main dealer. Just gutted only had it 2 weeks and it was my partners dream car. I am doing personal injury as I have now got to take time off work etc my right hand has shooting pains up and down it xx

Sweetbabydust1989 · 12/05/2022 17:37

@TurquoiseDreamCatcher oh definitely I am so happy my lady is ok can feel her kicking away just giving me reassurance that she is all well just mentally drained so can't stop crying as it could of been worse think I am still in shock xx

madeleine85 · 12/05/2022 18:18

@Sweetbabydust1989 wow, I am so glad your other kids weren't there too! Great that there was no arguing about it, and now it just has to get repaired, although still crappy you have to go through this. Hope you get plenty of R&R and i'm so glad that you have an active little one so you can count kicks and relax a bit.

On that note, you reminded me that I have to get my car serviced. Last time we had our DD we put our car in for it's checkup several months before she was due, and it was still in waiting for a warantee approved transmission replacement when we actually had our baby (as she was early), so we had a whole fuss over getting the car seat out and a replacement car to get her home! I should really try get ahead of all this just now instead of googling random things that I don't need :)

Em85kk · 12/05/2022 18:25

@Sweetbabydust1989 oh no! Glad you and baby girl are ok! It’s such a stress having to deal with everything as well x

HaresHoping · 12/05/2022 18:39

Oh I'm so sorry to hear that @Sweetbabydust1989 it sounds so scary. Really glad your little girl is okay and hope you feel lots better soon. Just look after yourself, you will be in shock like you say xx

amorningperson · 12/05/2022 20:47

Oh no @Sweetbabydust1989 how stressful! I hope you can take some paracetamol tonight and have a nice dinner and an early night :(

HaresHoping · 12/05/2022 21:19

Aww girls I just had an amazing moment. My husband just felt our baby kick for the first time 🥰 then he felt it again! I can't believe it. I'm 23+2. Starting to feel real now!

TurquoiseDreamCatcher · 12/05/2022 21:29

How lovely @HaresHoping. I'm looking forward to when my husband can feel our little one kicking.

HaresHoping · 12/05/2022 21:51

@TurquoiseDreamCatcher it seems to have ramped up out of nowhere the past few days. I've been away with work and just come home tonight, and DH felt it when he was kicking quite strongly. I'd been worried about movement before so it seems like it can all change quite quickly! Might have been the adrenaline from my work event sending him a bit loopy maybe 🤔

Sweetbabydust1989 · 12/05/2022 22:29

Thanks ladies iam doing a bit better after a bath and nap but woken up with chronic pain going up and down my shoulder, arm, hand and fingers when I move it it hurts currently typing left handed. My neck clicked when I woke up and send a pain all down my bloody back. My little lady is kicking away so it's given me some comfort just want to get this nightmare over with my partner suggested a little baby shopping trip when we get a hire car but I don't think I can face getting in the car my anxiety is through the roof. Sorry feel like a burden on you all just feeling a little lost I was looking forward to getting my girl some bits today while shopping then that happened and kinda put a damper on things xx

TurquoiseDreamCatcher · 13/05/2022 08:02

@Sweetbabydust1989 - you definitely not a burden. Is it worth going back to the hospital? It sounds like it was quite a nasty accident.

dkedm15 · 13/05/2022 08:29

@Sweetbabydust1989 with our one in Feb my hubby was hit directly as he was sat in the back and it was his door that was written off. He had damaged his rotator cuff in his shoulder and made him have similar pains you're describing down his arm - this was diagnosed at A&E and then he got physio through our insurance/legal cover (much quicker than waiting for NHS referral). I definitely think you should go back - we were hit Sunday night and he went to A&E on Tuesday morning as it was getting worse. I just had pain in my right side which midwives said was muscular and baby was nice and protected xx
