@MrsDaft thank you. I can't believe how much stress and anxiety this pregnancy have given even after only knowing for two weeks, but it will be totally worth it if we get to have our much wanted baby at the end 🤞🏻. Did you get the call back from the epu? Hopefully your spotting settles soon 🙏🏻.

@Cruz86 thank you. I will update as soon as i can. I have the dreaded scanxiety thanks to the mmc 😣. Thinking of you for your scan today and sending lots of sticky baby glue 🤞🏻🙏🏻.

@MrsCtobe91 aww so good that you have your scan tomorrow though, have everything crossed you and everyone else waiting scans/news🤞🏼

My bleeding has increased and is bright red 😬 EPU booking me in for a scan next Wednesday, she said I'm only 4 weeks ish even tho my LMP makes me 7!!! 🤦🏻‍♀️ I'm just going with it now though, I can't make the bleeding stop and they can't either so will wait and see! Be the longest wait of my life but taking comfort in a lot of stories of heavy bleeding and still being ok 🤞🏼☺️

Think the EPU are immune to the words bleeding and cramps because the midwife I spoke to couldn't be less phased or sympathetic 😂

I'm still waiting on a call from my midwife to see what they want to do about the cyst they found. I'm a little worried but hope it'll be okay.

Is anyone else struggling with food? I’m 7&2 and I used to be able to eat anything any time of day, cake and fizzy pop for breakfast yasss please (when I was younger, I’m more sensible now) but I could eat anything whenever, whereas now I feel like there isn’t any food or drink I don’t turn my nose up at. If I find somthing I think I can eat I’ll have a couple of bites and each bite I’m almost having to stop myself from gagging :( I’m hungry and it makes me feel sick but I can’t find anything that settles my nausea and that I can eat all of it
I can’t manage cereal it makes my nauseous worse, toast no, I had crumpets once other day and I was kind of okay. So I’m hoping crumpets can be somthing I’ve found, does anyone have any suggestions for me? I feel like my body is turning its nose up at any and all food :(

@MrsDaft thank you. Oh no that doesn't sound good, you wouldn't think our bodies would play us like this would you considering we're made specifically to carry babies 🙄. Hopefully the next week flies by so you can see what's going on. Unless they're going by when you possibly conceived? I never really got how they determine dates. I guess you just have to don't you because like you said, no one can stop what is happening unfortunately. We can only hope and pray that it's something silly.

Oh how lovely 😂 i guess they do hear it a lot but still they could show a bit of sympathy 😑.

I went for my booking appointment this morning and am now sat in a surgical assessment unit (EPU was too busy) and dr is worried it could be ectopic 🙁

Glad I found the new thread. Hope everyone is doing all ok :).

Is anyone finding or is it normal,, I get woken up at round 3am every morning with discomfort and a little pain. But its all over my stomach area. I dont want to call doctors as they haven't really been much help.
I do find if I use a hot water bottle or tends to settle and I can get back to sleep.
Is anything else having the same thing?
I'm 6 weeks and 4 days now. Xx

Hi All, Happy to join this thread. I'm 6 weeks today or tomorrow depending which App I'm using!

Love to @Cruz86 & others experiencing trouble. I had MC in January at 10 weeks (but I think it started a few weeks earlier when I lost some pregnancy symptoms), so understand its a rough time. Lots of love to you XXX

I'm due end of July and the MC has made it heard for me & hubby to enjoy these early days, just trying to get through each day/week.

Haven't contacted my GP yet, feeling really, really disinterested in going back to the Dr this time. Should I hold off another week or so? I'm so demotivated to bother with the maternity system so early on. My mother-in-law waited till she was 6 months before going to the doc with her last one!! But that was the old days lol!

@HoneyPea hope everything’s okay 💕 what has made them think it could be ectopic?

@Coco9910 I've had pain on my left hand side for about a week, a little bit of spotting and some blood in my urine at booking in today!

@Hope3821 That’s so tough about your MC and I’m not surprised you’re more reserved and disinterested with the early stages this time around.
It reminds me of the first time I did ivf, I was all positive that finally we were doing something and it was all new and exciting, then after it failed it didn’t feel the same at all for the second round!

@Hope3821 Congrats and I'm sorry to hear about your mc. I also had a very hard journey getting here. Just take it each day at a time as you said. I've been very up and down believing in the pregnancy and it's been a process. I would contact the GP as they might be able to refer you to the EPU for a reassurance scan. My EPU has been brilliant and have booked me in for scans every two weeks until my 12 week. It's hard every time I go in, it's quite triggering, but every time I came out of the hospital feeling a little bit better and more confident. Maybe something to consider, although of course everyone is different and you should do what feels right for you. Unfortunately I don't think there's anything that will make this journey anxiety-free, but I keep trying to remind myself that the odds are on my side. I hope you have a very healthy and lovely pregnancy!
