Anyone else got a + tests lately I got mine yesterday and then another today. Got a few more test to doing over the next week to see if they get darker.

Hope to have some more July ladies join me there is a few of us on the June thread and Facebook group already I'll try to tag you ladies Xxx

I woke up at 3:30 this morning and couldn’t get back to sleep 😭

AppleTree16 · 12/11/2021 08:21

Has anyone had the flu jab yet? I’m due to get mine next week - do I need to tell them I’m pregnant in advance? The NHS website isn’t very clear.

feliznavidad2 · 12/11/2021 08:45

Just waiting for my scan now... 😬 so nervous.

I hope it goes good! Fingers crossed 🤞
al1n · 12/11/2021 09:17

@AppleTree16 they'll ask you as they're going through the form. But you don't need to tell them before the appt

camvt · 12/11/2021 09:31

@AppleTree16 I had mine at boots. Only told them I was pregnant when I got there for the appointment. They didn't ask for any proof or anything.

@feliznavidad2 good luck today!

feliznavidad2 · 12/11/2021 09:36

So it showed a gestational sac and a yolk sac but no embryo... and dated me as in the early part of 5 weeks rather than late (which I should be). But they did say is the difference of mm in the beginning and everything is where it should be. Rescan in 2 weeks (which is blatantly going to be very long.) 😫 😫

annie1994 · 12/11/2021 09:54

I’m due 2nd July 2022!

Has anyone had really bad sickness and then one morning you wake up with barely anything!? It’s making me worry, why it so suddenly went whereas yesterday I barely kept any food or drink down from sickness?

Queenandslim · 12/11/2021 10:43

Hi ladies! Due 19 July!

@feliznavidad2 I’m usually such a good sleeper but I’m sleeping sooooo shallow at the moment and I’ll wake up early morning and take ages to get off again!

SlothMamaToBe · 12/11/2021 11:19

@annie1994 I’m due 2nd July too ☺️. I’ve had barely any nausea. Just little waves here and there if my stomach is empty. I’m kinda of worried about lack of symptoms but just hoping and praying all ok.

al1n · 12/11/2021 11:19

@feliznavidad2 try not to worry. They are so right it really is such tiny margins at the minute. I went when I was 100% I was 8 weeks with my daughter but only measured 7. At 7 we saw a strong heartbeat. I bet that's what you see in 2 weeks time

Amey91 · 12/11/2021 11:31

@missv556 it's hard to believe I don't feel any thing. Which is feeling odd to me tbh. Im not sure of thats how it's ment to be or not?
It still doesn't seem true at all. I've got no symptoms as such, so it's hard to just go off a test. Called Doctors and they said nothing they can do unless I'm worried, so gave me the midwifes number. But thats booked in for Dec which seems like years away lol.
Have you got any symptoms or anything or just a positive test???

TryingToNotTry · 12/11/2021 11:41

Same. Woke up early again and already took a nap. Hopefully this eases off soon 😂.

Anyone else still feeling in shock? I used to Google so much about getting pregnant and now that I am, it's like I don't know what next step to take. Luckily I purchased pregnancy multivitamins in anticipation and have obviously stopped coffee and alcohol, but now what? When is it suggested to do the dating scan?

@feliznavidad2 it sounds like the doctor doesn't seem too worried and I know it easier said than done, but try to not think about it too much. Hopefully in two weeks all will be well ✨.

missv556 · 12/11/2021 11:43

@Amey91 I've had some mild symptoms. My boobs feel more heavy every day, I'm a busty girl anyway but I'm so aware of my boobs atm. Fatigue. Bloating. That's about it really. Nothing crazy or unbearable yet. I'm dreading the 6 week mark as I hear that's when the morning sickness kicks off 😫 it's quite normal in the first few weeks to have little to no symptoms whatsoever

missv556 · 12/11/2021 11:46

@TryingToNotTry I know what you mean, I was so focused on the journey of getting pregnant that I didn't think ahead to what to do once I actually was pregnant 😅 no plans in place for anything

Lj2245 · 12/11/2021 11:58

Hi Grin

6 weeks today, due 8th July by LMP. 5th pregnancy after Ectopic pregnancy and tube removal, 2 sons (16 & 8) and a daughter (7). Bit of an old timer at 39! Had an early scan yesterday and was lucky enough to see the baby with a strong heartbeat.

Bit of a strange one…. The sonographer had another one check the screen and they told me it was because I had a haematoma next to the pregnancy sac. Then after much muttering and scanning they got a 3rd sonographer in and after yet more muttering and scanning they’ve told me they’re pretty sure it’s a haematoma because of the shape and how it lies around the sac but because it has a “flicker” inside it, there’s a chance it might be a twin pregnancy. So I rescan in 2 weeks. They gave me a photo which doesn’t help at all because apart from the shape of the second “sac”, it just looks like 2 fetal poles and yolk sacs to me Confused don’t think I can add photos?

No symptoms yet other than sore boobs. Usually around 6 weeks I get 24/7 nausea and mega food aversions so I’m waiting for all that to start. Kinda convinced myself that if it was twins, that would have started by now!

Hope you’re all well. Can’t believe I’m doing this again Grin

Amey91 · 12/11/2021 12:04

@missv556 that's a relief to know tbh. I've not noticed anything with my boobs tbh but I'm quite small, so maybe in time. I had the blonting last night and yesterday it seems I spend most of it sleep lol. So maybe I'm not noticing I dont know. Silly really I done another test this morning still doesn't feel real at all :/. I've not told my parnter yet as he's away :/. None of my family know either. How far off the 6 week mark are you??
I'm confused as my app I use says 5 weeks and mid wife says it 4 weeks and like 4 days so still very early either way.

ChrissyAero · 12/11/2021 12:15

I'll be 6 weeks soon and I'm going to book a private scan. Super scared and nervous.

Has everyone stopped coffee altogether? I've been having one cup a day.

missv556 · 12/11/2021 12:20

@Amey91 I'm 4w6d so I'll be 6 weeks next Saturday. Booked in for an early scan then so I can get that reassurance that it's real lol and that Baby is doing OK in there. Can't come fast enough. I have my midwife appointment on Wednesday at 5+4

al1n · 12/11/2021 12:26

@ChrissyAero I have half normal half decaf twice a day and the rest decaf Smile

Christi331 · 12/11/2021 12:27

@al1n oooo half and half - good idea!

Amey91 · 12/11/2021 12:32

@missv556 so your not much further then me as such then?? Did you book in with thr mid wife for an early scan?? The doctors said I can phone if I have any worries which I'm debating as my mum lost her first due to blood poisoning.
When i called mid wife yesterday the lady said she'd call me round 6rh Dec to get booked in for a scan. It's worrying as not really got alot of reassurance untill that first scan I guess at 12 weeks.

@ChrissyAero I've had to I'm used to drink 20 maybe 30 cups of coffee a day as I dont drink anything else. So I've been told to have 1 maybe 2 but if I can cut then out altogether :/

Lostintranslatio · 12/11/2021 12:37

@ChrissyAero I changed to decaf coffee. However a few days after I just couldn't take it anymore, like an aversion. Not going to lie to you, I miss my coffee 😂 but it seems like my stomach can't tolerate it now.

camvt · 12/11/2021 13:17

@TryingToNotTry the dating scan is usually between 11-13 weeks. Once you get referred to your maternity hospital, they will book all of that in for you at the recommended stages.

@Amey91 don't worry much about symptoms, it might just be too early, but you might also not get them. I'm 7 weeks today and no symptoms apart from tiredness. My last pregnancy I also didn't get many symptoms, I was convinced they'd tell me I had dreamed the whole thing when I got to the 12-week scan, but baby was there chilling. I think it's valid for you to discuss your mum's case with the midwife, it'll just put your mind at ease speaking to someone.

@Lj2245 wow! I think I would have had a heart attack having all the sonographers around, but how fantastic!

missv556 · 12/11/2021 13:18

@Amey91 it's a private scan that can be done from 6 weeks. I've paid £45 but may vary depending on your area. My midwife appointment is over the phone and then I'll be booked in for a face to face from there which will probably end up being the start of December cos that's when I'd be 8 weeks. All a big waiting game lol

I've just started watching YouTube videos of what things I'll need to buy for a newborn. Making a note on my phone for future reference lol I'm forgetful at the best of times but pregnancy brain is very real. Anyone else already forgetting stuff?
