Aw thank you so much for all the well wishes, even more emotional that people care for me on here, I am so touched 😭 (sounds like I'm accepting an Oscar or something).

@Cruz86 I'm finding out the sex at 10 weeks, I'm in Aus and this can be done with NIPT scan. So this is in just 3 weeks 🤭

@Chh0412 thinking of you and hoping it's a good outcome. Did they call back today with the blood results? X

@Elsols93 ah so pleased for you! Mine would be due around my mums bday and feels extra special

@Theworkingmama I was 6 weeks 4 days yest and yes they could see everything on the scan straight away but don't freak out if they don't - my sac looked completely empty after a second and it was just because of an angle . Good luck 🤞

@jcar87
I tested positive last week and approx 5 weeks! First pregnancy, I’m scared I’m worried I’m tired I’m angry I’m upset. I’m everything I’m glad I’ve found people in similar situations!

missv556 · 10/11/2021 20:11

Is anyone else uncontrollably hungry? After not having much appetite for a few days, I seem to have gone the other way and can't stop eating. Just ate my entire plate of dinner and I've been snacking throughout the day too

al1n · 10/11/2021 20:18

Does anyone know of a due in July 22 Facebook group yet? My group I was in for my daughter was such a lifeline!

123catherine · 10/11/2021 20:36

@missv556 me!! I've stopped feeling sick so literally just demolished the biggest bowl of pasta and then went rooting around for something sweet and ended up with a snickers ice cream even though it's def not ice creams weather 🤣

Rainbow123456789 · 10/11/2021 20:36

@missv556
prior to pregnancy I’ve been in the routine of having 2 medium meals a day as I havnt been working and well aware I do eat when bored and it’s worked well I havnt put any weight on whilst doing it , it’s worked for me
And then
Last week when I tested , I was having 2 huuuuuge meals honestly carnivorous! think I put on 2 pounds :(
But then it’s been slowing down, yesterday I had 3 meals but much much smaller but a fair few snacks, whereas today it’s going back to its usual 2 meals, thankfully!! My bmi is quite high so I really don’t want to pack the pounds on , I know I will eventually but I don’t want it to be due to overeating I know the baby and everything to do with it will be a weight in itself which is fine. I’m just really conscious about eating better atm :( :(

There was one, which the OP mentioned, but all talk about it got deleted for reasons I’m still not sure
missv556 · 10/11/2021 20:46

@123catherine I'm already hungry again 😫

@Rainbow123456789 I'm eating as much as I can stomach now as the morning sickness hasn't started yet so that will compensate for any over eating now I'm sure lol

al1n · 10/11/2021 21:12

@HotToddyColdSauvignon oh that's a shame!

Rainbow123456789 · 10/11/2021 21:27

@missv556
It wouldn’t be a bad thing for me! ….Well obviously it would be, you know what I meant!
but I have enough reserves I wouldn’t be in danger

PleaseSendNoodles · 11/11/2021 02:47

Sorry I’ve been rubbish at keeping up with the chat here! I live overseas so there are lots of updates while I’m sleeping!

Glad to see your great news, @laurenGame and @Elsols93 - I’ve been thinking of you both this week! Hope the rest of your pregnancies go smoothly! You’ve both had a rough ride.

@Chh0412 I’m keeping everything crossed for you!

@Rainbow123456789 and @missv556 I’m going through phases of have no appetite to stuffing my face for hours on end 😳 so weird. Hoping it all balances out!

@Cruz86 I always thought I’d want a surprise - especially with my first - but now it’s happening, I don’t think I can wait that long!

Im jealous of those of you who get to pick where you give birth. I love the idea of a water birth but that’s not an option at the military health facility I’ll be using 😩🤣 ah well. (Im aware Im very lucky to access decent maternity care unlike millions of women around the world).

chitter87 · 11/11/2021 05:42
@chitter87 thank you! Feeling okay so far. I vaguely remember being advised I would probably be consultant led for any future pregnancies due to the Pre e. Do you know any more on that?

Just catching up- hope everyone is well. With the Covid vaccine it’s personal choice-iv had both and the booster due to my work- AHP. Haven’t been able to get an app for the flu jab yet.

@laurenGame fingers crossed for you. I had spotting in my first pregnancy early on and then mid pregnancy and all was well. So hope is for you x
I would think you'd be classed as high risk after having PreE so potential for being consultant led, worth talking to the midwife about on booking in. I know I will be consultant led as I had other issues too.

feliznavidad2 · 11/11/2021 06:38

Had some light pinky red spotting after (TMI) struggling to go to the loo last night. And been having brown tinged discharge since last week. 😫 It's stopped now but given me the heebie jeebies.

I've contacted GP via the email thing at our surgery overnight to ask if they'd consider referring me to EPU - does that sound reasonable? Not sure if I'm being overly anxious. Feeling v nauseous this am which is sort of reassuring.

Elsols93 · 11/11/2021 07:22

Thanks ladies ❤️ I’m just so nauseous all the time it’s horrible but I’m trying not to complain to much just hoping it’s only for first trimester lol , @feliznavidad2 that’s not being unreasonable at all I would of made my own way up there 😂

Iv only been able to manage small breakfast at mid mornings then crackers for lunch small dinner I’m normally a late night snacker so that’s stopped , doctor prescribed me some omeprazol yesterday as my heartburn/indigestion is all day and horrid at night time xxx

feliznavidad2 · 11/11/2021 07:32

And now DS has woken up coughing 😫 😫 so going to need to get a PCR test.

Rainbow123456789 · 11/11/2021 08:24

I started feeling sick in bed last night like mouth watering type of sick, I couldn’t get to sleep.
I hate being sick it’s awful, you know I think I’d actually rather s£&t myself rather than being sick :(

Elsols93 · 11/11/2021 08:41

@Rainbow123456789 😂😂😂 I feel the exact same it’s like my phobia , but currently now wishing I could just be sick once when I wake up to clear this all day nausea I can’t even stomach water this morning horrendous 😭

laurenGame · 11/11/2021 08:51

@Rainbow123456789 that sounds really tough , have you thought about travel calm ginger that helps with nausea? It's all natural and says can take while pregnant but I'd still consult with the Dr.

I bought these in Aus but I'm sure UK will have equivalent. X

Due July 2022
Effram · 11/11/2021 09:50

Morning all, Hope all well. sorry about the worries @feliznavidad2 I hope that passes and your GP responds. I think completely reasonable to request a scan, I hope they get back to you!

Last couple of days I have been feeling really nauseous to the point it's been hard to concentrate on work. I am trying to just never let myself get hungry as that definitely makes it worse. I actually find it's better when I'm distracted so actually when I'm sorting my boys out it's not so bad but then I'm not actually being sick, just feeling really icky. Poor you, @annie1994 ! Easier said than done but don't feel guilty, your son will just accept mummy Is there in different form! hopefully it will pass quickly for you and there can be lots of cuddles until then!

Congrats to @Wolowl and @Rainbow123456789 :)

Amey91 · 11/11/2021 10:18

Taken 4 tests all come back positive. Latest 1 this morning came back within seconds. So many mixed emotions going on. No idea where to turn. This will be my first.
Is anyone in same boat as me :/

SlothMamaToBe · 11/11/2021 11:15

Wondering if I can join? I’m 6+6 today with my second. Last pregnancy was over 10 years ago. I’m getting quite worried due to lack of symptoms… I’m sure I was feeling really nauseous last time but other than feeling tired I have nothing now. My boobs were incredibly sore but that’s now disappeared… I’m so worried it could be sign of bad news 😕.

missv556 · 11/11/2021 11:39

@Amey91 congratulations. Its overwhelming when you first find out. I was in your position last week when I found out. I just gave myself a few days to process cos I was a bit freaked too despite actively trying 😅 lots of lovely ladies here to talk to, I'm also a first time mum so it's been massively helpful joining here and being able to talk with women that are going through similar things at the same time as I'm going through them

ClaBro1 · 11/11/2021 11:39

I think I just got my faint lines at 11/12dpo! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Amey91 · 11/11/2021 12:12

@missv556 :). I'm glad really I've hopefully found a group to chat to people who are going though the same thing. I've done 4 tests in all as I still don't believe it. Its hard to believe still to be honest with you. I've been abit worried as still like getting like cramping pains but they come and go. Itll just be nice to talk things though with others who know where I'm coming from. How's things been since you found out??
I spoke to a midwife today and been refured asking like 20 questions, where I want the birth ect. Was i froze over, as didnt expect that type of question so soon.

camvt · 11/11/2021 12:18

Welcome and congrats @ClaBro1 @Amey91 @SlothMamaToBe !

@SlothMamaToBe I'm also 6+6 today and no symptoms at all apart from feeling a bit tired. It's annoying isn't it when you're looking for reassurance. I was feeling a tiny bit of nausea that was coming and going up until last week and now disappeared for good, but I had a scan on Saturday and baby was doing well. I'm trying not to read too much into symptoms, but it's easier said than done!
