Hi all!

I just find out I'm 4 weeks pregnant! Last period was 28/07/2021

We were trying for nearly 2 years (stopped few months at the beginning the pandemic) and we were doing some test to hopefully join the waiting list for IVF. They said my partner's sperm was too slow.

I didn't see any post regarding due date May.
I called today my GP and they said to choose a hospital and send a referal.

Had my 12 week scan today it went well although baby kept turning its back and kicking up so funny to see. Hope everyone is doing and feeling ok x

@RainbowTime I'm 12+2 due may 16th. I had all the screening done. Have you had your scan yet? X

@YummyMummyXoX I’m only 11+2days (LMP) but had 2 scans so far as I’ve had lots of previous problems/losses. On Friday we measured 11+1 and all good so hopefully next scan be fine too - just awaiting a date for it! Finding the screening daunting! X

I was so nervous too as my son gave me covid at 9/10 weeks. Then my symptoms eased a little this week!.... If you've had previous losses/issues I can imagine your anxiery. Try to take each day as it comes I hope you have someone close you can talk when you need to, you have us mumsnetters too x

I was worried anxiety through the roof waiting for scan was going to book private but by the time I got out of isolation there was only few days to go. Look after yourself and let me know how your next scans go, keeping everything crossed baby is fine xx

Feeling very anxious this morning after my scan, baby active and dating at 13+1 today but nuchal translucency 6.8, having a CVS sometime next week in the specialist hospital in the nearby city. Saw genetic midwife and likely causes are downs/patau/Edwards syndromes or a heart problem. Feel absolutely heartbroken this morning, hoping for a miracle.

Hey ladies, how are we all feeling? Had my scan yesterday - due date confirmed as 16/05/22 🥺

Still have terrible sickness and nausea, and food and smell adversions - hoping they ease soon 🥺

Though little bambino is sooo worth it of course 💙💖

@RainbowTime @Mellymopx I went for CVS on Monday but they couldn’t do it due to baby’s position and an ovarian cyst that was in the way. Trying again on Monday or doing an amniocentesis on Thursday when I’m 15 weeks if the CVS fails again. Had a NIPT on Tuesday so waiting for results from that, midwife said maybe tomorrow. Feeling very anxious but trying to carry on as if things are normal as much as possible as I know being stressed is so bad for baby. Hope you and your babies are well.

@Spoonmoon gosh. Totally there with you. Can absolutely understand why you’re worried but just take each day. Got my NT testing Tuesday at 13+1 (technically 13+5 based on my last scan measurements). Very nervous about it. I hope your NIPT results are OK and everything crossed for getting the CVS done successfully. Sorry to hear you’re going through such a rubbish uncertain time xx

Anyone else just want to eat hot or spicy food all the time?? early first trimester I couldn’t eat anything, felt so ill. Now 12+5 and I want to eat everything with strong flavours and nothing tastes satisfying unless it is! Feeling bizarre!! X

@Spoonmoon bless you - I couldn’t even imagine the worry you must be feeling. But so strong of you to recognise that it’s best to keep as positive as possible for both you and baby. Hoping you get some answers soon, for peace of mind. Sending you loads of love, you’ve got this mumma 💪 xx

With my little boy, I craved satsumas, apple juice and blue slushies… this baby I can’t eat a thing 😅 I’m just jealous of you and your spicy foods @RainbowTime 😉 xxx

@mellymopx Lol satsumas are delish!!!! So flavourful!! Anything to cut through the bland taste of my mouth!! Lol such a strange thing!! Lol

I felt so ill and couldn’t eat at all for about 4 weeks and seems to have passed (the worst of it anyway) hoping it’s not a bad sign!!

Hotter the better!! Lol hope your baby starts enjoying earth food and let’s you eat soon!!! xxx
