Hi all!

I just find out I'm 4 weeks pregnant! Last period was 28/07/2021

We were trying for nearly 2 years (stopped few months at the beginning the pandemic) and we were doing some test to hopefully join the waiting list for IVF. They said my partner's sperm was too slow.

I didn't see any post regarding due date May.
I called today my GP and they said to choose a hospital and send a referal.

The tiredness has been awful past few days! I had to call in sick at work today because of the exhaustion and constant headache! Still no nausea, so hoping it remains that way- but will see when I hit 6 weeks in a couple of days 😅 Hope you’re all doing well! x

Queenie63 · 13/09/2021 13:48

I'm 5+4 and the nausea and fatigue have really kicked in! In the evening mostly. As rubbish as I feel at the moment its lovely having symptoms 😅

LeeRainbow · 13/09/2021 14:38

Well my sickness has kicked in just chucked up at work so hard being discrete when being sick down a loo in toilet that echoes.

@MillyMcg wish i called in sick really struggling today and think its worse when having to act like everything's fine, once told them i can look rough as much as i like as they know its just pregnancy. hoping sickness stays away for you. x

LeeRainbow · 13/09/2021 14:40

@Queenie63 oh yes definitely will take all the symptoms if get a healthy baby out of it, i had a missed miscarriage in January and still had all symptoms of pregnancy so just worries me, but by suffering with all the symptoms helps reassure baby is growing as should be i hope. xx

LeeRainbow · 13/09/2021 14:42

@msunflower amazing how much we bloat as i look like have a proper bump showing getting harder and harder to hide and only early days, i have baby shower this weekend no idea what to wear as everything is clinging to my stomach. x

LeeRainbow · 13/09/2021 14:45

@MissM94 yes getting harder to hide, i have a baby shower this weekend no idea what to wear as all my dresses are clinging to my stomach. How are you telling your family? x

MillyMcg · 13/09/2021 15:00

@LeeRainbow ah throwing up at work sounds awful! I hope your day goes fast so you can go home and get some rest!l luckily I’m still working from home, so feel like I can get away with looking rough 😅

msunflower · 13/09/2021 15:36

Have you got anything empire lined or a smock? Either that or a looser fitting black t shirt over jeans or a skirt might work. Enjoy the baby shower!

I'm starting to get really achey already, my knees, hips and back. I think I'm going to have to jump in the bath this evening, I feel like my joints are creaking!

MissM94 · 13/09/2021 18:26

@LeeRainbow omg same haha getting far too obvious now! I'm gonna buy some little cards and scratch cards & a baby grow for both mums that says "you can stop asking us when we're having a baby now" 😂 what about you?

Bubbasmama2017 · 13/09/2021 20:46

Hi Everyone hope I can join this thread, I'm 5+3 with my 2nd baby. First will be 4.5 when this one arrives (fingers crossed) we've been trying over a year so it feels too good to be true. Had some cramps nothing too bad but quite tired and had a couple of naps which I wouldn't do normally.

Firsttimemummatobe · 19/09/2021 12:54

Hi all, hoping I can join this thread as we found out yesterday that I am pregnant - online calculator is saying 26th May as due date!
I am so so happy, but also nervous due to previous loss but it was our last month trying before our wedding (after 11 months) so I feel it's meant to be that it happened this month!
How is everyone feeling?

Fortheloveofscience · 19/09/2021 14:26

Hi everyone! Hoping I can join in here, I'm 6+4 (ish). All being well this will be DC2, I've also got a toddler DD.

Really finding it difficult to hide now. Know that it's just bloating but I've gone from a very slim size 8 to having a massive fat tummy so it's obvious in most clothes!

Also panicking that although I'm very nauseous all day, I've not actually been sick yet. With DD I know I was sick most days for ages, but can't remember when it actually started.

Quinn26 · 19/09/2021 16:36

Hi All, hoping I can join? Found out last week were expecting. A little nervous as I had a MMC at the end of last year so praying this little one sticks. It does feel different this time around so I think that's a positive thing! Going to register myself tomorrow and hopefully get an early scan booked too!

raj2018 · 19/09/2021 17:40

Hi all,
I got a positive result today, baby #1. Due date around May 21st! Have been trying since last year and also had some fertility testing lined up for end of September so this is very exciting.

5DollarShakes · 23/09/2021 08:58

Hey, I'm currently 5 weeks after a successful IVF transfer 🙌🙌 due around 20th May, first scan tomorrow.
Great to have a May 2022 chat!

@Etonmess20 the bloat is real huh? I'm just waddling around talking so many progesterone pesseries! Any other IVFers on here?

Otherwise no symptoms bar sore boobs which of course makes me very anxious, but seems to be a family trait - calm first trimester. Here's hoping tomorrow goes well 🤞🤞🤞

Etonmess20 · 23/09/2021 09:59

@5DollarShakes congratulations!! The bloat is most definitely real, I'm 6+6 today & only just starting to look less huge all the time (it's now just some of the time!) So jealous your scan is tomorrow, got to wait until Monday for mine!! Got everything crossed that all is well for you tomorrow!
Don't know about you but I won't miss these pessaries!!

5DollarShakes · 23/09/2021 22:46

Thanks@Etonmess20 💕💕

baystreetbaby · 24/09/2021 06:49

Hello everyone! Another May baby here (just!)

I’m 4 + 5 so due 29th May with my second… can’t believe how quickly the tiredness and nausea has set in this time!? I feel like I’m going mad

Congratulations to you all Flowers

Hey everyone,

I was here a few years ago (nearly 3 years ago!) documenting my first pregnancy with other mummies - and still friends with the girls now.

So it only seemed right to join again for my 2nd pregnancy 🥺 my due date: 17th May 2022

Nice to meet you all girls x

Nice to meet you and congrats! I'm due one day before you ☺️
Fortheloveofscience · 24/09/2021 20:16

Welcome to all the new joiners Smile.

I'm now 7+2(ish) and starting to worry that I've not heard anything about a booking appointment. I know it doesn't have to be for a few weeks, and I've confirmed that the midwives have got my referral, but I'd feel a lot more comfortable with a date in the diary.

Also panicked earlier this week that my nausea seemed to have suddenly improved, I wasn't going to go for a private early scan but I might cave and go next week if we can afford it...

Fortheloveofscience · 24/09/2021 20:20

@Mellymopx I met an amazing group of mums too through my first MN birth month thread, I'm friends with a few IRL and we've still got a really active FB group even though the toddlers are 2 now. Really looking forward to getting to know you all over the coming months.

GingerbreadHead · 24/09/2021 20:48

Hello all!
I'm 8 +2 with baby #5!
Have requs2to join the Facebook group as I'm in a few with previous babies and it's been amazing to have someone to chat to during the middle of the night!
Feeling very rough, struggling to get through the day, constant nausea and very tired. My eldest is 9 and I'm sure she suspects something is up as I've suddenly started eating weirdly and drinking juice instead of water 😂
Looking forward to getting to know you all!

MummaRainbowbaby2 · 25/09/2021 22:18

Hi everyone i haven't posted on here in a couple of weeks! I've been so exhausted and nauseous non stop worse when I'm hungry and once I eat which is helpful! I was convinced I was having twins as the hormones have been crazy not like last times! But went for my early scan last week and I was actually measuring a week earlier than thought and only one baby! Hopefully the hormones adjust themselves soon 🙏

LeeRainbow · 06/10/2021 12:08
