@Hopefulmummie hope everything goes well at your scan. Enjoy seeing baby again 🥰. Mine is on Friday and I’m feeling really nervous!

@AdventuresAwait glad I’m not the only one 🤣. I can’t stop eating toast dripping in lurpak! I’m not buying bread again 🤣😩

2021mumma · 21/04/2021 18:04

@Kirky658 ha ha! My husband wasn’t keen on the idea of NCT at all he said what do I need to make more friends for...anyway now he sees the positive he has also made some good friends and quite a few pub trips with them too!

AdventuresAwait · 21/04/2021 18:11

So glad all went well @Sceptre86 and congratulations on finding out you're having a little girl! Xx

Maybebaby29 · 21/04/2021 18:20

Hey ladies! So much to catch up on! Glad your scans have all gone well who’s had them! I have mine next Wednesday, il be 20 +1, it’s not long away but it feels like forever! Really hoping everything’s ok 🤞🏼 My bump it’s super small still, he seems to be laying really low! I’ve been feeling movements since 13 weeks (this is my 3rd) but they are on and off, they aren’t regular yet which makes me worry. I’ve got quite a few clothes in his collection now! I hope he’s still a boy next week 🙈 what’s sizing at h & m like? 2-4 monthsseems super small.
Random but has anyone taken a bottle fed baby abroad? We have a holiday to Florida coming up in September, we are obviously going to re-book but not sure whether to book somewhere for next may but he will still be bottle feeding and it seems like a right hassle trying to sterilise, and have drinkable water for them to make up feeds. Or wait until next September to rebook Florida again when he will be 1 and he will be on proper food. Sorry to babble on!

Squibble84 · 21/04/2021 18:43

Congrats on finding out you’re having a girl @Sceptre86 and glad all went well!

@Maybebaby29 I took DD1 abroad at 4 months and took some expressed milk, mostly I breast fed though. I didn’t find it any extra hassle, the airport, which I thought would be the hardest was fine!

I got to listen to the heartbeat today at my consultant appointment which was lovely. I have to have 4 weekly growth scans from 28 weeks due to my low Papp-a. Whilst I’d rather not have low Papp-a, I’m happy that I’m going to see how the baby is doing again!

CherylLW · 21/04/2021 19:12

@Maybebaby29 I have found H&M clothes to be on the smaller side. I bought vests from La Redoute and Next and they look huge compared to H&M and they are all the same size!!
They are cute tho so I won’t return them, probably be a one or two time wear!

SP2Bx · 21/04/2021 19:48

Ah yay @Sceptre86 ! I'm glad you managed to talk your dh round to finding out and congrats on team pink! 💕

I'm 18 weeks today and my bump has really popped the past couple of days! Scan 2 weeks tomorrow, can't come soon enough ❤️

CherylLW · 21/04/2021 19:59

Has anyone bought a pram/car seat/travel system yet? There are so many and I’m struggling with what to look for!

How easy is it to get pram frame to car seat adaptors if you don’t buy it all in one bundle?

Minefield 🤯

AdventuresAwait · 21/04/2021 20:11

@CherylLW, we've got the Joie Chrome. I wanted something that manovered easily, changed from front to rear facing and was easy to fold down. I really like it.
We also got the Joie i-level carseat which fits the pram. We chose that because it tilts, so baby can be laying down more when sleeping, which I really liked.

Oh I think I want this as it folds small apparently we need for the car!

Thanks @AdventuresAwait I’ll have a look at those... I’ve been told Joie is a good brand too 😊

Scotti84 · 21/04/2021 20:14

Hi all,

Had my 20 week scan today, was bricking it, especially as i had to go to Munich which is 2 hrs away because they have the newest technology. Happy to say it all went ok, she was laying face down at first so i had to jump around a bit to get her to move but the sonographer managed to check everything and everything is as it should be. So so relieved! Did change my date to 30 August, but only 3 days difference. Might actually get a good nights sleep tonight!

Scotti84 · 21/04/2021 20:15

Ooh and i got this cute photo of the bottom of her foot 😅

So cute @Scotti84! Glad all went well xx

AdventuresAwait · 21/04/2021 20:21

It does yes @Bubbles1st! We also wanted one that folded fairly small and it fits well, even when the back seats are up (7 seater) and there's not much space!

Bubbles1st · 21/04/2021 20:41

@AdventuresAwait thanks, although I'm certain that's what we will get still want to see it in person before committing 🤣

Can i join 🙋🏼‍♀️ Went for My 12 week scan yesterday and came out as 17 wks and 6days 😮 due 22nd September... wasn’t expecting to be going for my 20 week scan in 3 weeks that’s for sure! 😊 X

deedeebythesea · 21/04/2021 20:55

@CherylLW I have an hour appt booked at Mamas & Papas showroom. There are two prams that I have my eye on - bugaboo cameleon 3 and icandy peach, but open to ideas. I keep seeing these amazing prams being wheeled around town. Lots to choose from. The main thought behind going to the showroom is to see what's what - size, how easily they fold, weight etc. And once we make a decision, keep an eye on FB marketplace and get a second hand one.

My niece who is now 7 months absolutely loved her Baby Bjorn bouncer 😊 I can't wait to see my little boy snoozing in one soon!

2021mumma · 21/04/2021 20:56

I’m 20+3 now called hospital as haven’t had my 20 week scan letter through yet they said to expect to be called 22-23 weeks- I can’t keep waiting!! Ahhh

D0nut · 21/04/2021 21:17

I’ve been looking at the babyzen yoyo because it’s super lightweight and folds really small and we currently live in a very small flat in London.

I’ve also been pram watching in the area - I feel I’ve become an expert at identifying them from a distance!

AdventuresAwait · 21/04/2021 21:23

Oh wow @Holly91! Welcome and congratulations xx

2021mumma · 21/04/2021 21:24

@D0nut I have babyzen yo-yo 2 years now it’s amazing taken it onto flights etc folds to nothing. I bought the bugaboo fox first and wish I’d bought the babyzen over that.

CherylLW · 21/04/2021 21:32

@deedeebythesea ooo I’ll have a look at those too! My main priority is a good car seat with good specs and then I’ll get on the pram set search.

A baby bjorn bouncer is top of my list! I really like the leopard print ones they do but so so pricey! I think it will be my ‘treat yo self’ item!

D0nut · 21/04/2021 21:38

@2021mumma that’s really good to know! I like the look of them too.

la1921 · 21/04/2021 23:00

Hi all, just had my 20 week scan today and went well thank goodness. Found out we are having a girl.... was convinced we would be having another boy for some reason but then I was wrong last time too! (have one DS who is 18months and totally oblivious of what’s coming!!!)
