Glad your scan went well @leftitlate37! 🥳

CherylLW · 23/04/2021 20:31

Has anyone booked or planning on booking a private scan for anytime after their 20 week one?
I had my 20 week last Friday and I’ve just booked one for 24 weeks and my next midwife appointment is 26 weeks..

GWhiteley · 23/04/2021 20:34

@Bubbles1st hi can I join please? Due on the 3rd Sept & we're having a girl!

Scan was amazing, couldn't believe how much had changed since the 12 week scan!

RaeRae84 · 23/04/2021 20:55

AHH congratulations on the scans ladies!! So lovely x

AdventuresAwait · 23/04/2021 21:55

@CherylLW, I really want another scan after my 20 week scan (which is next week). Maybe around 25 weeks, maybe a 4D scan... if I can convince my husband 🤣

Bubbles1st · 23/04/2021 22:16

I will update the list again over the weekend if anyone one else wants to be added with those who has already commented just message or tag me :)

D0nut · 23/04/2021 22:31

Thanks @Bubbles1st you can update me to a girl!

bewitchingnight · 24/04/2021 08:19

Thanks @Bubbles1st can mine be updated from team yellow to a girl please!

CherylLW · 24/04/2021 10:05

@AdventuresAwait I feel like I have the next milestone booked by booking a scan at 24 weeks. I don’t think I’ll get a 4d one, just a well-being to make sure all is ok 💙

MrsTD88 · 24/04/2021 12:36

Had our gender scan today, it's another girl 💖💖

@Bubbles1st can I be added to the next update please, due date 27 September.

Turns out I have an anterior placenta too which is sitting high so nothing to worry about at the moment.

Noodles4Me · 24/04/2021 12:40

Looks like we are balancing out now with the boys and girls Smile

Mamabearwhere · 24/04/2021 12:58

Ah congrats on all the baby girls 💖 looks like girl gang is catching up!

AdventuresAwait · 24/04/2021 14:26

Congratulations on finding out you're having a little girl @MrsTD88! Xx

bewitchingnight · 24/04/2021 15:41

@MrsTD88 congrats! I found out the same thing about my placenta too, have you been feeling many movements yet?

MrsTD88 · 24/04/2021 15:55

Thank you @AdventuresAwait & @bewitchingnight I have felt little movements but only intermittent, this is second baby though. I couldn't believe how much baby was moving on the scan this morning and I couldn't feel anything! Have you felt any movements yet?

Scotti84 · 24/04/2021 16:08

I've also got an anterior placenta, I feel movements on the inside but nothing from outside yet. My Dr had said it could be a couple more weeks. Got great growing pains in the stomach today though!

LouiseJayne23 · 24/04/2021 16:47

I'm also joining the girl gang! 💖 Due 7th September

KHR1 · 24/04/2021 16:52

Congrats on those who have had scans, the girls sound like they are catching up now!

I have an anterior placenta too, been feeling movements for a while but only quite low down

Squibble84 · 24/04/2021 18:15

Congrats on all the scans and the baby girls! It will be interesting to see the updated list! X

Squibble84 · 24/04/2021 18:16

Also I’ve added a few more people to the Facebook group this week - anyone else who wants to join, just send me a private message.

crobo87 · 24/04/2021 18:28

Congrats to all who have have scans this week!
Sounds like girls are slowly catching up xx

unicornpower · 24/04/2021 18:53

Oooooo some more girls! I wonder if we'll be nearly even Stevens soon? Our friends little girl was rubbing my belly today and said she hopes it's a girl- so sweet!

bewitchingnight · 24/04/2021 19:35

@MrsTD88 only tiny movements so far and not regularly! The baby was so wriggly on my scan as well I can't believe I couldn't feel any of it!

AdventuresAwait · 24/04/2021 23:18

@MrsTD88, I have an anterior placenta too. Found out at my private scans but it wasn't mentioned at my 12 week scan (& not had my 20 week scan yet)..
I wondered if I felt some movements a couple of weeks ago but wasn't sure (first baby). I'm now 20+2 & think I felt a kick yesterday! But wanting to feel more to know for sure 😊

Sceptre86 · 25/04/2021 00:00

@Mamabearwhere until recently when baby started kicking more I would easily forget I was pregnant during the day. I have a 5 year old dd and 3.5 year old ds so am kept busy with them, working and just trying to keep on top with everything else. More recently baby has started moving lots and I take time out in the evenings to read to her or speak to her. She kicks lots whenever her dad is around or her big brother and sister are playing, almost as if she wants to join in too. It is easier to focus on your pregnancy when it is your first but when you have other kids, they take precedence. I think that is normal. The bond will get stronger given time. It helps me that my other two children ask lots of questions about baby so we talk about her a lot. x
