@Mamabearwhere I have the aveeno moisturising cream (cream and dark green bottle)

Mamabearwhere · 28/03/2021 10:19

Thank you so much @Poppins2016 and @KHR1 I’m going to get both to try, I’m sure will go through them both in the next 6 months!!

Bubbles1st · 28/03/2021 10:22

@FTEngineerM they sound very similar to genitalia and both got teased for it

RadDarwazeh · 28/03/2021 11:55

I have a list of names for each. Boy or girl. And we are gonna keep them to ourselves in case friends or family put us off them!

We have chosen some Arabic/English names as DH is Arabic and they just sound lovely.

Anyone looked at furniture bundles yet? Can't believe the prices. Aldi seem reasonable. Not sure on how strong they'll be tho. Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

FTEngineerM · 28/03/2021 12:12

😳😳😳 I didn’t even see that!!! Thanks @Bubbles1st

unicornpower · 28/03/2021 12:39

Congratulations on the baby boys ladies, its definitely a boy boom isnt it 💙 so jealous of everyone finding out the sex! My husband is also being a stick in the mud and wants to wait until the 20 week scan. SIGH.

Weve got a boys name but struggling with girls as I like quite traditional but then really quirky ones too and DH has vetoed most of them 🤣

Is anyone else really still struggling with the tiredness? I'm 15 weeks tomorrow and still struggling to stay awake most of the time and it's really getting to me now, I just can't stay awake

Mamabearwhere · 28/03/2021 12:50

@RadDarwazeh same here, we’ve gone for Arabic/English name too as my other half is Arabic. I also like names that in any language/country is easy to pronounce.

@unicornpower yes me, my exhaustion is relentless and my nausea came back after giving me a few days off. I’m 15 weeks and honestly feel no better than when I was 9/10 weeks. I’m starting to accept I might be unlucky and have nausea and tiredness the whole pregnancy

Scotti84 · 28/03/2021 12:52

@unicornpower im still knackered most of the time. Once I'm up im fine but I have no motivation to get up. That could also be to do with the fact I've been on furlough since November so there's not actually much to do in the day atm. I should be appreciating it while I can!

Re baby names we were set on a boys name pretty early and now need a girls name. It's so hard, also because I live in a Catholic area and its tradition to give Catholic names. Thank god we aren't religious because it's hard enough without having another thing to add in. I like soft sounding names if that makes sense, not like Anne or Catherine, things that are a bit more flowy but also not too long. A friend of mine is trying to talk me into calling her Sandrine... it sounds like a paint colour from deluxe. Plus names with an e on the end are out as Germans pronounce it, so where anne would be anne in the UK, here it's pronounced Annie. So much to consider 😅

KHR1 · 28/03/2021 13:12

@unicornpower me! I'm up at 6 for work but then by 7pm I could easily just curl up and go to bed. Struggling to stay away by 8.17+4 at the moment so thought I'd be feeling full of beans by now

unicornpower · 28/03/2021 15:52

@Scotti84 haha Sandrine reminds me of friends where Rachel wants to use that name and Ross is like 'that's a really great name for an industrial solvent' 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I like similar names to you, I really like Charlotte and I really love Daphne but DH doesn't like either lol he's so fussy!

Ah thanks ladies, im kind of glad to know I'm not alone, I had a walk and chat with a friend yesterday and I was so so exhausted by the time I got back and its just so frustrating isn't it when you want to have bags of energy!

bewitchingnight · 28/03/2021 16:26

Yes same here, I'm 16+4 and feel so much better /normal in terms of nausea but still so tired!

mumof23188 · 28/03/2021 16:57

16+3 and totally exhausted! Had terrible sickness for the first 14 weeks but that’s thankfully gone.

Clouless · 29/03/2021 07:30

Morning! 14+6 and completely shattered by about 7pm. I can be happily enjoying watching something on TV with DH and then... bang. It's like I've been drugged with chloroform and am unconscious for a few hours! Felt really sick over the weekend still and continue to have a horrible taste in my mouth. Hoping for a glow of beauty and energy soon haha!

Sceptre86 · 29/03/2021 09:58

Great to hear some of you have picked names already. I have a name I want to use for a boy that I have liked since I was a little girl thankfully dh likes it too. I did want to use it for ds but due to other reasons didn't. If we have a girl dh is choosing and he likes Aleha or Amal. I quite like Aria and my dd likes Anna from Frozen. Our name choices are Arabic because we are Asian.

I can totally sympathise re the tiredness, I am napping during the day on my days off. On days where I am at work I end up falling asleep by 9pm.

Noodles4Me · 29/03/2021 10:25

I'm exhausted too. I used to struggle to sleep but I'm in bed and away by 10.30pm the latest every night, then right through till 7.30am.

Does anyone get very out of breath with stairs? I can cycle and walk and be fine, but 4 flights of stairs nearly finishes me off.

Scotti84 · 29/03/2021 10:43

@Sceptre86 i like aleha, that's that's really pretty name. I quite like names with a, other half's sister has an Alina, obviously not allowed to use that one too.

@Noodles4Me im always out of breath atm, I go meet my other half from work and it's up a long steady hill and by the time I'm at the top i need a break, it's not that im tired or achey I just can't get enough breath. Doing the shop is a pain too as we have to wear ffp2 masks and I'm good for about half an hour before I need to get out and get some air. It's reduced our shopping time, we fly around the supermarket 😅

AdventuresAwait · 29/03/2021 14:01

@Noodles4Me and @Scotti84, I get out of breath too, especially going up stairs. It's different to my usual unfitness struggles, more of a needing to catch my breath.

Those are all lovely names @Sceptre86!

Kirky658 · 29/03/2021 16:44

Hope everyone is OK, shitty monday here roof felt has blown off the summerhouse and waiting for stupid roofer to stop messing me about as a tile has come off the roof too. In a bad mood and got mild icky low down crampy pain which isn't helping.

@Noodles4Me stairs and climbing big hills floor me. Yet I can run 4 miles with little issues!

Mamabearwhere · 29/03/2021 18:34

I can’t remember if we’ve discussed this before but anyone getting headaches? I get them regularly now almost daily. Is it something to be concerned about or just another lovely pregnancy perk?

Scotti84 · 29/03/2021 19:02

@Mamabearwhere I got migraines and headaches the last few weeks so week 14 to 18 where i am now, they've eased off a bit I'm glad to say. I think the lack of coffee wasnt helping so if i feel one coming on i drink a small weak coffee and it usually stops it from hitting full force.

Kirky658 · 29/03/2021 19:13

@mamabearwhere I get a headache virtually every day but like @scotti84 I've recently found that drinking plenty of water and having one small mug of coffee first thing keeps them at bay ❤️

Mamabearwhere · 29/03/2021 19:23

Ah maybe it’s the caffeine. I’ve gone off tea which I usually can’t function without. Maybe I need force myself have a cup of tea and see how that goes. Or a diet coke!

Squibble84 · 29/03/2021 19:24

I’ve had bad headaches the last two weeks — another lovely perk of pregnancy I think!

Squibble84 · 29/03/2021 19:27

Also heart burn is starting to make an appearance too! 😭

AdventuresAwait · 29/03/2021 21:07

Another one with headaches here! I use coolstrips when it starts getting worse which can ease it a bit.
