I've been mardy about it. Trying to make him feel guilty about it. Tried to get him excited about it. He laughs every time - he knows me too well and what I'm doing !

Congrats on the baby boys! 😍💙 We have our gender scan next Wednesday I’m 95% sure I’m having a boy! I have a lovely girl name I was dying to use! I haven’t really found a boy name I love 🙈

I'm due September 17th but will
Have too have them at 36 weeks latest due too sharing same placenta as I'm having twins ❤️ first children after 2 miscarriages ❤️

Haha @leftitlate37 it’s a list of 2 names which I’ve had for a while 😂 does anyone want to say the names of the children they have already had or any ideas they have? It’s a tricky one isn’t it... to reveal or not! X

@Kirky658 I’ve had baths since the beginning, tried not to overly worry but made sure it’s not really hot and it’s all been fine, would miss a bath so much!

I've been having baths too, albeit a bit cooler than usual and it's just not the same, they go cold so quickly and I like to lie in there for hours 🙈

We have one boys name and one girls name on our shortlist, but I'd like to get a couple more in case baby just doesn't "look" like that name when born! Funnily enough, they're not the names I thought I'd always had my heart set on! But thankfully me and the other half have similar taste in names - nothing too "out there" but nothing overly traditional either.... so hopefully we can agree on a couple more!

My niece didn't have a name for days 😅 it's such a big responsibility naming a human I think!!!

I revealed the name to family and friends because I was getting SO tired and annoyed at everyone’s suggestions. This way they can all just shut up with their suggestions I also told everyone before I revealed that I wasn’t looking for their approval so to please keep their opinions to themselves after I had a few comments with my girls names. I felt like a big bi* but had to be done.

@Mamabearwhere yeah I'm not sure I want to hear people's opinions. Unsure if we will reveal before they are born or not.

At the minute we are affectionately calling them Herman because we don't know if it's a her or a man 😂

@Bubbles1st 🤣 that's good! We call baby Jellybean as that was the size he or she was when we first saw him/her at a scan xx

I could have wrote this lol. I'm nearly certain we are having a boy...no boys names but 2 favourite girls names

We've got a good mixture of girls and boys names, more choice for girls we felt. As DH is a teacher a lot of names he instantly ruled out as 'naughty kids names' haha!

@Bubbles1st Herman is hilarious 😂 Ours is Baby Bean, Bean, Broad Bean... whatever kind of Bean I'm feeling that day 😅 The father in law refers to me as Mother of Bean now 😂

@Mamabearwhere definitely not a b*h for saying that, it's exactly the reason I won't be telling anyone any of our names beforehand!!! But then I totally agree the suggestions get annoying... although our 3yo nephews did make me laugh "Ciprio" 😂 Not a clue where that's come from!!!

We are dog groomers so it's not even naughty kids that will put us off names but naughty dogs 🤦🏼‍♀️

On a separate note, anyone have really dry skin found something that is moisturising enough? Bio oil and palmers stretch mark creams aren’t doing it for me. My skin is cracking and peeling!!

@Mamabearwhere I have mild eczema that pregnancy seems to be making worse... Aveeno is the only thing that works for me, I highly recommend it.

@Mamabearwhere ahmen to that! I remember my dad giving an opinion on every name option we told him so in the end I just didn’t tel him, or anyone else. I don’t know why people do it unless it’s Teresa Green or something.

I like long girl names like Penelope types but DP has vetoed that one. Loads of girl ones in my head and no boy names 😬.

I’ve never actually met a person and thought ‘oh hi xyz, oh wait that’s a weird name’ so I don’t know why I put so much pressure on myself 🤦🏽‍♀️

@FTEngineerM that’s so true, I never think when I meet people ‘of that’s a strange name’... I hate people giving their opinions!

A couple of my friends have school age children and when I suggest names they tell me it’s popular and so many at school etc... when really I don’t know about that yet! When they named their babies they didn’t compare it to kids 4-5 years older!! Drives me a little mad!!

The only times I've winced at names is someone who called their children Florence and Fred despite the Tesco clothing brand being called that at the time.

I have known two girls in my life with very unfortunate names.

That's all I'm worried about, good flow with the surname and nothing that kids will make fun of.

We definitely have a girls name picked out as it was the second choice for our DD but we find boys names so hard to agree on! I can relate to the 'naughty kids' comment, also a teacher and feel like I have to avoid the names of any children I teach.

@Mamabearwhere my skin is super dry (I get bad eczema on my hands) and aveeno is amazing.

@KHR1 @Poppins2016 thanks ladies. Which aveeno do you use? There’s a few different ones to choose from.
