I'm probably one of the first to find out, as there are no other chats! Based off of last period I'm due December 2nd! Got my first positive early at 9dpo.
Anyone else with me yet???

Aw @Babycakes39, it's rough isn't it! Don't give ourselves a minutes peace.

I remember feeling similar when I had my first as I have two stepdaughters that were a similar age then. They adapted well though and love the bones of her. Not sure how they're gonna react to another though at 18 and 16!

I'm genuinely not 100% sure how I feel. Terrible as that is to admit.

@EMIbaby, I can see a line on the first pic. Perhaps leave it a couple of days and test again?

@EMIbaby I think I can see a line in your first picture but it's so hard to tell when they are that light. Is there any chance you could get a first response early result test? My results from those were a lot darker a lot earlier than any other brand.

Otherwise, I'd wait a few days and try again.

@MissOrganisedMe we're lucky to have this group, where we can share our thoughts. It's natural to think of the positives and negatives a new baby can bring to a family. I'd be worried if someone didn't! XXX

@Babycakes39 I am 40 and had a MC at 9 weeks 20 years ago so am very very anxious. I am also going to book an early scan but not til 8 weeks as heard that they often can't find much before that?

@MissOrganisedMe congratulations i am also 40 and have all those concerns too. But this baby is the most wanted baby ever and I am.doing it alone and to be blessed with this pregnancy is a miracle for me so as long as he or she is loved that then that's all that matters isnt it?

@Babycakes39 this is very true. I need to relax and try to stop the overthinking.

@wannabemum38 he/she will definitely be loved! You're right.

@wannabemum38 I think they advise 7 weeks as 6 can be too early and cause undue worry. 8 would be even better if you can wait that long! It's an anxious time anyway so I can understand why you feel so worried. My friend has suffered many MCs and now has two beautiful, healthy children. Try not to worry too much XXX

Well, despite all my chat yesterday about how I wasn't going to do it, I'm weak and I took the last ClearBlue digi this morning. Glad I did though, was very pleased to see this!

hello I got my BFP yesterday evening, couldn’t believe it when it appeared within seconds! So happy this thread is here and all due at a similar time, Christmas is going to be busy! X

I just did CB and has gone to 3+ (by my dates I’m 5+1) my question is if I was now to miscarry is it classed as a chemical? Seen so many posts on here re chemical miscarriages...

Welcome new joiners! So lovely to see all the good news.
I am 5 weeks + 1 today did a FRER and it's almost but not quite a dye stealer. Was scared to do my CB incase it didn't go to 3+ but maybe I should. I can't believe how scared I am. The weeks are going so slowly and I can't think of anything else. I am almost wishing my Easter Holidays away because I am thinking I will be 7+5 when I return and I can book a sneaky scan for 8 weeks. I just want to get to 12...20...40 weeks!

@wannabemum38 gosh my brain must have been all over the place yesterday, shock probably! I had put the wrong due date in, put the 2nd instead of the 5th 🙈 so I'm exactly the same as you, 4 weeks and 4 days today.

I did a CB digital this morning feels more real seeing the words pregnant. Got 2-3 weeks which is right as would have conceived almost 3 weeks ago

@wannabemum38 that's really interesting.. I did a CB on Tuesday and got 1-2 weeks but sounds like we are both on the same timeline as we too would have conceived around 3 weeks ago on Sunday (obviously depending on ovulation/implantation it may slight vary) .. maybe my hcg levels are low?

This is all so new to me and I question every little detail. It's so hard not to compare things against others and worry 🤪

@Soexciting I'm the same as you, 5+1 today! I'm doing another CB Digi tomorrow as I was too scared yesterday/today and hoping for 3+ otherwise I've messed my dates up! I had a dye steak FRER over the weekend and this morning had a dye stealer on a cheapie which was a relief as my cheapies have been awful!!

I’ve never posted in a forum before! Found out Monday but have been in denial (thought I was testing too early!) but it all feels a bit more real today, think I’m due on the 11.12! I have no idea where to begin but very excited!

I just called the pregnancy team and asked if they got my registration form ok. They said they had and my midwife will call by Monday. They are doing booking in appointment by phone.
Got my early scan a week on Sunday...cannot wait!

Got my bfp on Saturday. Think I’m due 5th December but I usually have long irregular cycles so I’m just going on when I think I ovulated.
Tentatively excited but I had a chemical at about this time back in January so feeling super anxious about it happening again.

Right now I just feel very tired and have had a headache all day today. The days are going by so slowly!

@H0peful28 that's my due date and I also had a chemical in January. Freaky! I'm anxious too.

So I tested on a FRER on Monday (the day I was due on) & got a faint BFP. This afternoon I did a cheap preg test from The Range and it is still really faint. Should I be worried? I've also had some spotting so can't help but feel like this is the start of the end

@lucea87, just to reassure you, I did a CB Digital at 5+2 and it still read 2-3 weeks, when I did mine today it had moved up to 3+, so don’t be disheartened if the same happens when you test!
