@TeaPiglet @babbit87 i was at the shop earlier and staring at the Maltesers box and the bunnies, i was so tempted to buy them but then did'nt. Biggest regret lol

I've got some raspberry leaf tea that I bought from Amazon, I'm going to try to drink a cup everyday until I go into labour.. it's absolutely vile 🤣 forgot to have some yesterday.

@Safxxx starts at the top of bump and spreads right down to my pelvis for me - goes on anywhere from 30 secs to 1 & 1/2 mins. Sometimes takes my breath away.

@babbit87 yeah yours sounds more like the real thing as it should come in waves all over. Must be so annoying having them and then nothing 🙄

Are any of you having weired dreams about going into labour? I been getting some where hubby is running around getting things ready to go hospital, and typically he's more worried about not having he's sandwiches ready 🤣🤣
Other times i'm in labour and then holding my baby in my arms ❤
My nesting is keeping freezer and cupboard food well stocked, i was'nt even running out and still went in the morning bought top ups 🤣 well with 3 other kids we do run out quicker so in that sense its good i don't need to worry, but by the time baby arrives i'm sure I'll be topping up again 🤣

@Safxxx mine is really quite crampy pain low down in my abdomen, well my pelvis really and low back. It’s sort of progressed beyond a niggling pain to a not very nice pain now. Worse when I sit down or lie. I also get the tightenings some which take my breath away too. But don’t seem to be connected to the cramps yet. I am peeing every few minutes 🙄 or feels like that.

I also have malteaser bunnies! So good. I love Easter snacks been chomping hot cross buns and was eating mini cream eggs on the ctg the other day. Don’t normally like them! We’re really low on food so I’ve just put in a sainsbury order for tomorrow. That should bring baby along right?!

I feel preoccupied by these bloody sandwiches too! I keep topping up sandwich making supplies. X x x

@Muriel84 your symptoms are surely picking up more and sounds like your getting closer 🤞

@Safxxx 😂😂... I am having really vivid dreams but not about labour, just the most random things usually related to whatever I'm binge watching on Netflix. That is one weird symptom I didn't expect from pregnancy the crazy dreams feel like a child again sometimes 😂

@Muriel84 definitely sounds like things are picking up for you!

@jbx10 yeah definitely a symptom in late pregnancy.....i too have silly random dreams inbetween, mostly early mornings as i don't sleep much at nights lol

Haha @teapiglet I'm going to get maltesars tomorrow now. I had hypermesis (a lot more) with this pregnancy from 4-14 weeks and then I've been vomiting now since 32 weeks. The pills didn't work and the other option is to be put on a drip on hospital which I didn't want. It's horrible (I've lost a tooth due to the acid) but I'm nearing the end so hopefully it will be better.

@babbit87 thank you so much I wish I knew about the injections but now that I do I hope they're an option in future pregnancies. This is my 2nd child/3rd pregnancy and this 2nd one has been awful compared to the first.

@Safxxx you're so right thank you, I do forget to drink water in these last few days. Hopefully It's not a kidney infection but I've been having some soreness in my periniuem area (sorry tmi) and what feels like a wee infection (can't believe doctor told me to stop the antibiotics at the hospital) I do need them so now finishing my course. I'm going to see if the dates do help me have a short labour and yes I'll going to pack them in my bag too!

Also guys whilst I was at the hospital there was a poster on the toilets saying don't removed any hair from down their I.e shave or whatever 2 weeks before ur due date to stop the risk of infection. Not sure how true that is. I think I'm going to stop this convo right here...lol

What sort of sandwiches is everyone making? Are they for the hospital? Or just stock for emergencies? You guys are making me hungry haha

@Faithfulbird20 I'm just taking smart water and cola bottle haribo for labour. Probably take some special k bars too though they'll be more for DH as I don't like to eat anything stodgy in labour in case I'm sick

@faithfulbird20 I got some sandwich fillers to make stuff if I'm in a long labour but I dunno if we'll end up taking them in to hospital as it can get quite warm in maternity - I'm not sure a tuna and sweet corn sandwich will go down well with others if it starts to smell lol

@Safxxx yes wired dreams but not about labour..... last night I dreamt I was having a serious 1:1 convo with John Travolta as it was his love child I was having 🤯 WTF is that about?! Not even a JT fan and certainly don't think of him in that way!!!!

@Muriel84 oooh your cramps sound more like what I felt with DC1 who was a textbook pg & delivery so hope it will happen soon for you!!

And yes, sandwiches at the ready for DH at all times!!!

@pampero I hope you're right, I have an asda coming Monday 1 day before due date so hopefully that seals the deal!!

@faithfulbird20 ham or cheese sandwiches for dh (hes a simple kinda guy!) Harbio, cereal bars (and now maybe some cream eggs - great idea btw) and lucozade for me

@faithfulbird20 I feel for you with HG its no joke, had it with DC2 from week 3-21 (by week 14 is when I admitted myself to hospital as couldn't even keep down water) thats when I was put on a drip to rehydrate and injections plus tablets to take home. Was still vomiting a lot but at least I could function. Much love to you hun of its returned for you at this stage, nothing worse and you want to hit anyone who says "have you tried peppermint tea or ginger biscuits?" As if you haven't looked up everything yourself!! 💕💐 hopefully baby will make an appearance soon and relieve your symptoms xx

Haha laughing reading all the chat about sandwiches, my partner sat dead straight faced at dinner a night last week and I asked him what was wrong he said he was just thinking about what sandwiches to bring to the hospital when im in labour 🤣🤣🤣 Its clearly a fairly serious part of the labour prep!!
My MW told me to make sure he brings plenty of food cause its long and boring for them (imagine 🙄) and food will be the last thing we think of when delivering lol

The way he was panicking in my dream about it, might not even get to make/take it 🤣 we got other snacks and drinks packed so he won't go hungry.
I'm so ready for this baby now, as its half term and its so ideal as other kids don't need to be woken up for their online classes....so i don't need to worry, but he will come in he's own time not mine lol

I’m making quorn ham sandwiches to take with us cos we don’t eat meat and I figured they’d keep ok. Feel like I’m going on a picnic I’m actually embarrassed to say how much is in my food bag 🙈 might make some jam sandwiches for me too cos I’m normally all about the savoury but this pregnancy I’ve had such a sweet tooth. I’m worried about missing meals on postnates as well. X x x

Hi everyone! I had the most productive day today with my OTT nesting energy. Cleaned the house thoroughly. Bathroom grout, kitchen, stairs. Made a nice lunch. Everything went well!! Then DH and I planned to watch one of the YT videos on labour and birth. The lady happened to mention sex for oxytocin (dilating cervix), so we thought why not as I’m 38 weeks today!
But since DTD, I’m having most horrible pain in my groin area particularly on right side (TMI). Thought it’ll be a nice thing to do on Valentines weekend but I’m in so much pain now. 😖

@Muriel84 I might have to start ru Paul next at this rate 😂 I've been on with once upon a time thought that'd be a good once since there was about 8 seasons to watch 😂🙈 We also have so many snacks packed not done sandwiches yet but OH will probably make some peanut butter sandwiches when we're ready to go! Xx

I’ve had weird dreams as well. I was talking to DH middle of the night yesterday (in sleep) that the car seat needs to be fixed.
As in my dream the car seat was not having the “click” sound of being attached to the base and we were standing in the cold in the parking lot with the baby getting uncomfortable with car seat not fixing to the base. 😂
