Hi!

I got my BFP a few days back (well a lot of BFPs as I'm a POAS addict) and my due date is likely to be early August 2021.

Any other ladies out there with similar exciting news in need of chat and support in these strange times please jump on board!

@Smushty14 going to try and hold out till Sunday! My LMP was on the 7th of Nov so I believe that will make me four weeks ish ? X

LunaorJack95 · 03/12/2020 13:15

@Smushty14 how does the RHR work in pregnancy have you got an article you could link me to chick? I've got a Fitbit might aswell use it if it gives me some peace of mind x

zeerecords · 03/12/2020 13:24

Can I join? I'm on another August 2021 thread as well. Due 3rd of August. I'm only five weeks but feeling so nauseous and tired all the time I'm finding it difficult keeping it from family when I spend a lot of time with them and they ask me to do a lot. How am I going to last until my first scan I don't know!

LunaorJack95 · 03/12/2020 15:24

@Smushty14 looked at my last recorded RHR in April was 60 and its floating around 70 at the minute x

happylittlechick · 03/12/2020 16:29

Hi. I'm due very end of July and always run late so likely an august baby.

winnie3838 · 03/12/2020 17:06

Hi,

I'd love to join too. I am 5wks +6 and due 31st July. Like @happylittlechickick I am always late too!

I had an early scan today and i saw the embryo and a heartbeat! Very exciting.

Lots of luck to you all!

LunaorJack95 · 03/12/2020 17:43

@happylittlechick congratulations! 🥳🥰 x

@winnie3838 congrats!! Oh how wonderful what did the sonogram look like? I'm seriously considering a 6 week scan myself x

Smushty14 · 03/12/2020 17:47

@LunaorJack95 good luck with the wait!

I'm not sure in pregnancy, I just know when conceiving if it drops you are out 🙈

@zeerecords welcome to the club lovely! Have you got your first scan booked?

I've just referred myself to the maternity unit and had an automatic response to say I will hear back in 10working days

@happylittlechick always run late with time keeping or is this not your first? 😊

@winnie3838 welcome! Amazing!! Did you have a private scan then? Would love to have an early one myself but there are none within 50 miles of me that have any appointments before January 😩

LunaorJack95 · 03/12/2020 18:18

@Smushty14 I've read it can go up by 20 bpm by/during the second trimester x

happylittlechick · 03/12/2020 18:54

This is my third. My first two were both two weeks late.

Smushty14 · 03/12/2020 20:04

@happylittlechick ah that makes more sense 🤣 I'm so easily confused these times

Smushty14 · 03/12/2020 20:05

Days even... doh!

LunaorJack95 · 03/12/2020 20:33

Took folic acid for the first time tonight and felt sick soon after 🤢 anyone else ?

Mummywantsaweewee · 03/12/2020 22:26

@LunaorJack95 I’ve been taking pregnacare three months prior to ttc I always take it with my dinner otherwise I feel sick!

LunaorJack95 · 04/12/2020 00:30

@Mummywantsaweewee I took it with a meal also and still felt sick :( the only cure was more food haha! X

Smushty14 · 04/12/2020 07:50

I've been taking folic acid on an empty stomach - just the cheap tesco ones - and so far I've been okay with them 😊

LunaorJack95 · 04/12/2020 09:16

@Smushty14 lucky!

So I couldn't wait.. (don't mind the lack of duvet covers they're in the wash 😂)

August '21 Due Dates
wimbler · 04/12/2020 09:22

can I join? I'm due on 4th August with my second. Got my positive about 10 days ago. I've got my scan date through for the 21st Jan. I remember first time around it seemed ages away but with Christmas in between now and then it doesn't seem so long to wait!

zeerecords · 04/12/2020 12:57

@Smushty14 I just self referred to local maternity service and got the same response. I called my gp and they said that the maternity services would inform them.

I'm feeling so nauseous all day I'm struggling to get anything done. Is anyone else feeling this nauseous so early on?

ItsPrincesspeach · 04/12/2020 15:26

@zeerecords I definitely am feeling really nauseous. I’m really surprised how early on I’m feeling like it. With my first I want to say I was around 8 weeks when I got morning sickness. I’m feeling really bloated today but not sure if that’s because I’ve eaten too much haha.

Smushty14 · 04/12/2020 15:36

@LunaorJack95 waheyyyy!!!

@wimbler oh wow! That's good that you have your scan date already

@zeerecords no nausea yet thankfully but I'm sure that will hit soon 😩

When I cough I get cramping.... I don't like it! 🤣

wimbler · 04/12/2020 15:47

@Smushty14 I don't think I was supposed to self refer until I was 6 weeks but I did it anyway and my scan date arrived in the post a few days later!

Mumtoalittlegirl · 04/12/2020 17:09

@Mumtoalittlegirl I will also agree back to back labour if horrific! My 2nd was back to back and it was soo much worse than my 1st! I will also be making sure this doesn’t happen again and will be on my hands and knees with you!

@Loti92 sorry you had a bad experience too. I felt like such a wimp, honestly I remember thinking at 3cm how can it possibly get any worse! I couldn’t sit down, the pain was just indescribable and not how I imagined labour at all. I thought I could ‘breathe my baby out’. Thank god for epidurals! If it happens again I’ll be getting nice and drugged up as soon as I arrive. Actually going to add it to my birth plan so I’m not begging for one for 5 hours!

JenTTC1981 · 04/12/2020 18:04

Hey!!! Congrats girls ♥️

I tested positive a couple of days ago. It Puts my due date at august 6th 2021.

I’m so nervous. I’m 40, overweight and have pcos. Oh and let’s just add in a sprinkling of pandemic to try and avoid too ;) lol
It would be lovely to hear from you all.

Stay safe and good luck! Xxxx

LunaorJack95 · 04/12/2020 18:07

@JenTTC1981 congratulations chicka! Welcome! 🥰🥳 we can be PCOS buddies.. is this your first? I'm hoping I get an earlier scan on the basis of the PCOS and increased risk x
