Hi!

I got my BFP a few days back (well a lot of BFPs as I'm a POAS addict) and my due date is likely to be early August 2021.

Any other ladies out there with similar exciting news in need of chat and support in these strange times please jump on board!

@AbbeyBelfast I can see a line.

I just feel crampy, tender boobs and starving hungry every morning - as if I hadn’t eaten all day!! I feel queasy at odd times but wonder if that’s when I’m hungry too.

FeelingBlessedx · 07/12/2020 17:38

@ABBYBELFAST try a pink dye my clear blue wouldn't show but all my pink dyes did. My screen is cracked so I csnt comment on your pic as I cant see😜

LetsD0ThisThing · 07/12/2020 18:09

@AbbeyBelfast yep definitely a line! Congratulations. How many dpo are you?

Thank goodness Grin

I believe I'm 11dpo today, but that's basically educated guess work! I had a positive OPK but unsure when I ovulated after that.

How far along are you? X

Oh yes! I've been wondering if it's hunger related too, I just managed to eat there and feel slightly better... hmm let's hope it passes soon!

Ha! I actually have a cracked screen too so I feel your pain! I went into Tesco specifically for a pink dye and they only had clear blue Hmm

FeelingBlessedx · 07/12/2020 19:13

😅 oh no 🤞 for u :)

Bells20 · 07/12/2020 21:09

Hi @JustMouse just to say I'm also really struggling with sleep at the moment. I can get off sort of ok but for the last week I've been waking up wide awake in the middle of the night about 4am and can't get back to sleep. Wasn't sure if this was pregnancy related but sounds like it could be if you're experiencing something similar. So frustrating!

Liloulou · 07/12/2020 21:13

Congratulations to all the recent BFP-ers!

I've just requested to join the FB group 🙂

Think I had implantation bleeding a few days ago as had light spotting when my period was due, was accompanied by very very slight cramps. The spotting stopped for a couple of days. Just been to the loo and a little more light spotting. Trying not to worry but OH's sister lost hers very recently around 7 weeks so it's at the back of my mind. It hit OH quite hard seeing his little sister so upset.

Other than that, I'm trying to watch what I eat and make sure I'm getting enough of the good stuff, started doing some yoga to stay healthy. Also ate a bar of galaxy though so haven't been that good 🤣

JustMouse · 07/12/2020 21:25

@Bells20 - I was awake at 4am today, managed to drop back off about 5.30am for half an hour.

I don't know how much of this is pregnancy related or the fact that i've had to go cold turkey on some medication, which helps with my sleep. I just feel like an emotional mess at the moment.

ItsPrincesspeach · 07/12/2020 21:33

Is anyone else absolutely freezing cold in their pregnancy? Is this a symptom? My hands and feet are like ice and I’ve got slipper socks on!!

Bonniecoloo · 07/12/2020 21:42

@ItsPrincesspeach my feet are always cold at the moment but unsure if that’s just because of winter being here now lol.

@JustMouse @Bells20 I wonder if we’re all waking up early just because it’s playing on our minds? I wake up having to go for a wee then being pregnant is all I’m thinking of at the moment!

JustMouse · 07/12/2020 22:19

@ItsPrincesspeach - I seem to go from freezing cold and wanting to wrapped up on the sofa with a hot water bottle. To feeling like it's 30c inside.

@Bonniecoloo - It's 100% waking for a wee and then there is too much on my mind.

This has been me the last few days!! One minute I'm sweating and the next, I'm shivering 🤦🏻‍♀️

LunaorJack95 · 08/12/2020 03:23

@Bells20 definitely, wish it didn't feel so much like AF! Sometimes I get stomach aches too like I just ate a bucket of 🌶😂

@SFA21 I reckon we will really feel it after the first sonogram 🥰

@AbbeyBelfast I see a line! Also I have mild nausea most of the time which can be cured by eating - hoorah!

I've gained an inch on my boobs already and everywhere else for that matter. The joys 🐷

Gymbelle · 08/12/2020 07:12

Hi all, I’m so excited to be joining.

Got my BFP last Sunday. Estimated due date of 7th August, I’m 34 and this will be my first child.

I had a miscarriage in October - spent my birthday in the hospital. I had one period and I’m now pregnant.

I have just requested to join the Facebook group. My name is Emily so you don't think its a random!

Staying positive and look forward to sharing this journey with you all ❤️

Serg · 08/12/2020 07:19

I can’t find the Facebook, please could someone point me in the right direction?

MrsLauraM · 08/12/2020 07:46

Hello ladies ☺️ Can I join please?
Got my BFP on 29th Nov and I’m 5 weeks today. Should be due around 10th August. This is mine and my husbands first and we’d been trying around 10 months. All very exciting.
I’ve requested to join the FB group, hope that’s ok?

LunaorJack95 · 08/12/2020 08:06

Welcome ladies! 👋🏽

I'd love to join the elusive FB group too.. 🤔😂

BertieBotts · 08/12/2020 09:39

Hello :) I think I will just lurk on here for now rather than FB. I use the groups feed a lot on mobile and I keep having random groups my friends are in showing up on there so I'm a bit paranoid about it Hmm

Anyway - got a surprise BFP on Sunday night as I was supposed to be starting a trial of some new medication on Monday, and just thought I'd check before I started it.

We have been sort of trying (not temping, tracking ovulation or anything) since DS2 was born 2 years ago, because DH has a genetic condition that means we have higher chance of miscarriage/chemical pregnancy. Absolutely no sign until now, so I was very very surprised but happy! 3 years is a brilliant gap!

Still feeling very cautious about this one at the moment, but optimistically so. The line on the cheapie test was strong, so I did a digital this morning (first digital ever!) which has come up at 2-3 weeks.

DS2's birthday is August as well so if all goes well they will be very close dates. He will be 3 in August. I also have a 12yo so newborn + 3yo + teenager sounds fun :o bring it on!

We live in Germany so the pregnancy care system is a bit different here. I will be seeing my lovely gynaecologist on the 21st who will perform all of my care right up to the birth when I'll go into hospital and be seen by midwives on a rota, like the UK system :) my last birth was back to back as well (and possibly DS1 - but it's so long ago I don't know) so I will absolutely be in the all fours corner with the rest of you. Definitely want to avoid that happening again. I should be able to have midwife support/care as well before the birth, but last time I wasn't fast enough registering with one, so I plan to contact one as soon as I've had my appointment on the 21st if I get to see a heartbeat.

summerbubs · 08/12/2020 10:19

Has anyone booked an early scan? Smile
We've booked one for the 19th, I'll be 6w 2d so I realise I won't see much but it'll be nice to just get some reassurance! Especially since I don't really feel pregnant yet!! Hmm

Applecrumble24 · 08/12/2020 10:29

I've got a private scan booked for 22nd. I'll be 7 weeks then. Just really want the reassurance of seeing a heartbeat 🥰

BertieBotts · 08/12/2020 10:33

I should get one at my first appointment on the 21st :) DH a bit sad he won't be able to make it, but I'll try and take a video for him if everything is OK!

I'll be 6+2 as well. You can normally see a heartbeat at 6 weeks if all dates (ovulation/implantation) match up, but it's so fast in the early days and changes day to day, so if you're a few days behind schedule you might only see a yolk sac or foetal pole, anything is good though.

SFA21 · 08/12/2020 10:42

Is anyone else googling everything before they eat it? I've become so paranoid about eating something that's bad!

Pika93 · 08/12/2020 10:50
