Hi ladies! New to this board just moved over from conception! Cannot quite believe it! I'm panicking as it's been a year (exactly!!) Since my miscarriage, and now I have backache and light cramps! Is that normal at four weeks can anyone put my mind at ease? X

@Blossom428 @Redfoot89 I've got a scan next week and I will be nine weeks, so we may tell immediate family abd our best friends after that. Then announce properly at twelve weeks. I'm thankfully off work until Thursday, I'm not sure how I'm going to cope, I have to leave house at seven am and it's over an hours drive! 🤢

@AnxiousAnnie86 oh thats exciting a scan! Im dying to book one but like you want to wait till im 8 or 9 at least. Feels like forever until then, time is going so sloooow.

Oh gosh. Im terrified of being physically sick and not being well at work as im whats called a lone worker so it would be difficult to find cover for me 😩

AnxiousAnnie86 · 16/11/2020 13:56

@Redfoot89 it's just the worst feeling isn't it! I struggle to do even the simplest of things as literally have to hold onto something it gets that bad.

I wanted to wait as long as possible as if I can avoid a internal scan I'd prefer too as for some reason the make me faint every time!!! Obviously I will have one if i have too! Hoping to hear a nice heartbeat! Xx

@AnxiousAnnie86 that's soo exciting! Can't believe you are nearly 9 weeks, you'll really be able to see soemthing a bit more baby looking then 😆
God girls, I really hope I don't get as bad sickness as you. Atm I'm working from home but usually I'm out in the community. Not going to be good if I'm vomming everywhere 🙈 are you telling your employers?
@Redfoot89

My FRER finally came.... so happy to see the profession

@Blossom428 that is lovely progress!!!!!

Yeah I'm going to, there is only six of us in my office and I'm really close to my boss, x

Redfoot89 · 16/11/2020 16:09

@Blossom428 yaaay so pleased for your progression, told you! 😊

Im only going to tell my employers early if i start being sick because ill have to. Im hoping i can hold off telling them until 12 weeks 🤣🤣 will have to see. My boss is off sick just now and theres someone acting in her place.

Blossom428 · 16/11/2020 16:24

Thanks ladies @Redfoot89 @AnxiousAnnie86

Yeah I'm going to try hold off, but they also have to do risk assessments for when we go out due to covid, and I'm aware if you are pregnant you become on the classed as more vulnerable list- even though there hasn't been any evidence of Covid affecting babies. But better to be safe than sorry. So I may end up not being able to do visits if things open back up again to go out and about. We shall see.
I'm also on a level 5 management course, which isn't ideal that I'm now going to have to stop it. But hopefully I can do as much as I can and then re start it where I left off. 🤞🏽

Blossom428 · 17/11/2020 11:08

Just booked an early scan for 13th Dec. I'll be 8weeks then ...Excitingggg! These next few weeks are going to drag! How do I make the days go quicker haha

AnxiousAnnie86 · 17/11/2020 11:33

@Blossom428 haha they do feel like they drag don't they! I just need to get to 27th!! My sickness has stepped up a level now x

OP posts:
Blossom428 · 17/11/2020 11:55

Oh god! You just think how can it get any worse 🙈 so sorry you are feeling so bad. Can you go to the doctor and they give you anything?
@AnxiousAnnie86
I've literally got no symptoms now- my headache has gone thank goodness.

AnxiousAnnie86 · 17/11/2020 12:33

@Blossom428 honestly just make the most of it! I got to 6 weeks feeling fine, then BAM!!!

OP posts:
Redfoot89 · 17/11/2020 13:29

@Blossom428 @AnxiousAnnie86 i am literally just waiting to be sick, i know its coming, its getting worse everyday and im only 5+1 🤣🤣🤣

Random. Had a stiff neck for about 5 days, i slept funny one night (by funny i mean i actually stayed in the same position all night) and i think we need new pillows too😩 its starting to ease up now thank goodness, we have ordered a new mattress aswel as both DH and i haven't been sleeping great lately and we have had it a while.

Ooooh a scan!! Im dying to book one but im scared to jinx it

AnxiousAnnie86 · 17/11/2020 13:42

@Redfoot89 that's what happened with my sickness it just got worse abd worse everyday until today when I've started actually throwing up, don't want to eat or drink anything :( we are just buying a new mattress too!!!

Bambi300180 · 17/11/2020 16:16

@AnxiousAnnie86 @Redfoot89 @Blossom428 @ hope you are all well. I'm feeling fine no sickness but very heavy tender breasts and also indigestion. We just need to think that all this that's happening to us now will all be worth it in the end. My face has broken out a bit too! Pregnancy acne 😭 but face masks are not helping. I'm going to book my scan middle of next week for around the 7.5 weeks mark and call the midwife booking line then as well. Just want to get safely past the 6 week mark. I just don't want to jinx things by booking them. Probably silly I know x

AnxiousAnnie86 · 17/11/2020 16:24

@Bambi300180 I'm glad the sickness hasn't got you yet, my boobs aren't as sore as they were. Sickness and tiredness are the only things I have now really. I know it'll be worth it but it's pretty incapacitating most days :(

I've got my midwife booking apt next Wednesday, it's over the phone though, for an hour! And then my scan on Friday evening, I will be pretty much 9 weeks then so hoping to see clearly! Xxxx

Aw I'm so excited for you. Hopefully the sickness will calm down. I can't imagine how horrible it must be especially in work! I wasn't sick at all with my son so I'm hoping I will be the same this time. I know I need to get booked in with the midwife and I know I'm avoiding it because of last time but will definitely call next week when I feel bit more secure. At least we have each other to lean on and share our worries with. I think unless you are going through it yourself it's hard to understand the anxieties that come with early pregnancy x

Redfoot89 · 17/11/2020 16:42

Hi @Bambi300180!
I have heavy boobs and indigestion too its all happening over here 🤣

Im the same as you, i am terrified something is going to go wrong and i keep questioning every single ache etc. I still can't beleive its going to happen just yet. Im not 6 weeks till monday. I think i might do same and book a scan once i get passed 6 week mark. The anxiety is so real!

Redfoot89 · 17/11/2020 16:43

Oh and. Im getting acne all over the shop too although my DH thinks its hilarious 🤣🤣🤣

AnxiousAnnie86 · 17/11/2020 16:46

@Redfoot89 @Bambi300180 I was exactly the same but I'm so glad I finally did it, I filled in form three weeks ago now and still haven't got app for booking in till next week! And according to lmp I am 9 +3 today I know I'm not but the nhs are classing me as that, so I should really of been getting seen earlier as I will be 10.5 by booking app!! X

Bambi300180 · 17/11/2020 16:56

@AnxiousAnnie86 @Redfoot89
Annie you will get such a clear scan by that time!
@Redfoot89 we are the exact same dates and we sound exactly the same! Anxieties and symptoms. I completely understand that you are to scared to get excited yet. By the time we are at Annie's stage we will enjoy it much more. X

Redfoot89 · 17/11/2020 17:05

@bambi300180 thats crazy we are same dates! I am starting to feel more sick as time goes on which i can only take as a good sign 🤣 i certainly never felt sick when i had my mmc last year so im trying to take that as a positive thing.

I hope so. I just want to see it and see that everything is going as it should time is just going soooo slow just now 🙃

AnxiousAnnie86 · 17/11/2020 17:13

Can we all just fast forward to twelve weeks, we got a puppy the day before I found out I was pregnant, and I feel like I'm totally neglecting him, the smell of him makes me throw up!! My husbands having to do all the work! X

😂😂😂 poor puppy. I'm sure once the sickness goes you will be giving it loads of cuddles x
Redfoot89 · 17/11/2020 17:48

@AnxiousAnnie86 fast forwarding would be amaaaaazing! If only!

Oh no poor pup. Im sure you will be full of cuddles when it passes

Blossom428 · 17/11/2020 20:46

I feel like I'm so far behind you guys and have sooooo long to wait 🙈 wish I was someone that found out they were pregnant by surprise on week 8 😂😂 even a week ahead seems like so much more haha.
Yeah I've just jumped in and booked it. It's my first time being pregnant so just though I'll go with it and see what happens. I'm praying it's a sticky one for us all- as it'll be so nice to go through the whole process together

Owww poor pup- @AnxiousAnnie86 but I'm sure you will make up for cuddles after you feel better.
