Hi ladies! New to this board just moved over from conception! Cannot quite believe it! I'm panicking as it's been a year (exactly!!) Since my miscarriage, and now I have backache and light cramps! Is that normal at four weeks can anyone put my mind at ease? X

Blossom428 · 06/12/2020 07:33

Anyone else waking up in the night with such an empty stomach feeling? Did it the other night and now last night I was wide awake at 4am debating to go get food. And now I've woken up again 7.30 same feeling. It's making me toss and then all night, struggling to sleep. But I feel night eating isn't great to do...

AnxiousAnnie86 · 06/12/2020 08:22

@Blossom428 haha you've got the hunger! I've heard a lot of people say how hungry they are all the time In first trimester! X

@Blossom428 i feel you!! My stomach rumbles so bad 🤣🤣 i keep a glass of juice by my bed and just have a drink when i wake, i do not want to eat at night.

My nausea gets SO bad when im hungry so im trying to get into the habit of eating little and often.

Blossom428 · 06/12/2020 09:10

🙈🙈 @AnxiousAnnie86
Yeah I don't want to get into the habit of eating at night either. @Redfoot89
May try a snack just before bed like cottage cheese or soemthing to try keep me full throughout. No real nausea as of yet though- so I'm not complaining, but it's affecting my sleep!

Redfoot89 · 08/12/2020 07:23

Well ladies a tidal wave of nausea has hit and its 24/7 now. Literally nothing curbs it. Been wearing sea bands since sunday which has at least stopped me gagging but i feel like ive been hit by a bus 😭

Thats all the immediate family been told now, so nice to not have this huge secret anymore with them. Id been so worried about telling my brother and his wife (they lost their baby boy this year) but they are over the moon for us.

Hope you are all keeping well?

Bambi300180 · 08/12/2020 07:37

@Redfoot89 aw really Iv not been feeling as perky past few days either waking up through the night feeling sick and hot. Feeling nausea all through the day but I have not been sick. That's good all your family know as you will have loads of support. X

Klprr93 · 08/12/2020 07:38

6 weeks. There was a little heartbeat. Could not here it but she pointed it out to be and I could see it going up and down on the middle part 🤞🤞🤞. X

4 weeks today!
Redfoot89 · 08/12/2020 07:42

@Bambi300180 its a rough ride just now especially when i look after kids all day. Holiday countdown is well and truly on for me.

@klprr93 oh how lovely congrats!!

Blossom428 · 08/12/2020 07:56

Oh sorry to hear how bad you feel @Redfoot89 ! Seems like you are trying different things too. Hopefully it won't go on too much longer and thank goodness you have the Christmas break!

@Klprr93 awww amazing to see the heartbeat.

Only a couple more days to wait for me, I'm mixed emotions of nervous, anxious and excitement! Praying all is okay!

AnxiousAnnie86 · 08/12/2020 09:53

@Klprr93 aww I'm so happy for you! You must be so relieved!

@Redfoot89 I feel your pain! I'm so so sick all of the time, it's absolutely horrendous.

Had my nhs scan this morn, I'm too early for tests that need to be done so have to go back on 24th! X

Hi All,

Just wondering anybody has been in the same boat as me. Got my BFP on 11/11 and booked for an early scan on 5/12 when I thought I was 7+2. This is my first pregnancy, got to the scan for them to say that 1) I have an inverted uterus so was hard to see, 2) I was measuring at 6+2 instead and 3) they couldn't conclusively see a heart beat, she thinks because it's too early and because of how difficult the scan was. Has anybody else had this before, the booked me in for 10 day after to recan, I'm terrified.

AnxiousAnnie86 · 08/12/2020 11:19

@lotslou1404 hey! How sure are you on ovulation date? They can be out a little in the beginning? Not hearing a heartbeat is normal at 6 weeks I think it's from 7 they can normally hear it! Xxxd

I used clear blue digital opk which had a static from 29/10 and got my first positive on 11/11. I’m trying to stay positive there’s just so many negative stories out there it’s hard

AnxiousAnnie86 · 08/12/2020 11:25

@lotslou1404 I know :( it's awful to read so much negativity, just try and stay away from it until you know what's going on, I just stay on this board and try to not read too much as it will only add to your stress, how are you feeling otherwise? Xx

OP posts:
lotslou1404 · 08/12/2020 11:28

Stressed. I’m tired a lot of the time and I have waves of nausea every so often I’ve been sick a couple of times but that’s it. There’s been the odd day of slightly sore boobs but nothing major. It’s my mood I’ve noticed the biggest change in. I just feel down and weepy all the time.

Blossom428 · 08/12/2020 15:04

Anyone know what are good pregnancy books to read? I've heard of a couple- what to expect when your expecting and expecting better?
Any others or which is best?

Sorry to hear you are going through lots of confusion, your dates may level out again at your 12week dating scan as it's so early days things can be difficult to measure and grow at different rates. @lotslou1404 it's good you've been having symptoms though.
I've got my first scan on Thursday where I will be 7+4.
