Hi ladies! New to this board just moved over from conception! Cannot quite believe it! I'm panicking as it's been a year (exactly!!) Since my miscarriage, and now I have backache and light cramps! Is that normal at four weeks can anyone put my mind at ease? X

@AnxiousAnnie86 hopefully once the 12 week mark comes it will settle and you can enjoy it more. My skin has broken out as well but wearing my mask all the time covers it! Lol
Roll on 12 weeks for us all and we can start to enjoy this x

AnxiousAnnie86 · 01/12/2020 10:24

@Bambi300180 I know! I really really just want to be like oooh I'm pregnant! Everyone knows etc, I know every trimester comes with its struggles but the first is so hard when no one knows you feel and look like crap and you have constant fear!!! X

Glad you are doing well and work is keeping you busy @Bambi300180 - best thing to help time to go quicker.
I'm slightly worried as hardly got any symptoms, only slightly sore boobs and maybe a little tired.
It's awful this fear and constant worry. Roll on next Thursday and then I hopefully can be a little reassured!

Mctm123 · 01/12/2020 11:43

Hey ladies how are we all? I haven’t been on much lately!! Just had a scan baby was great wriggling round so cute!!! Looks like a proper baby now!! Feel like absolute rubbish being sick loads...all good ha. Hope everyone’s ok xxx

Bambi300180 · 01/12/2020 11:51

@Blossom428 try not to worry. Everyone is different and you just may be lucky and not get many symptoms. With my first I had nothing! You wouldn't have known I was pregnant until 7 months when I sprouted a bump! My symptoms are only mild as well except for the boobs! Very tender! Also Bit of nausea in the morning, bit tired at night and spotty face! So people get symptoms and some just don't and for some it's different for each pregnancy. You will be fine x

Bambi300180 · 01/12/2020 11:56

@Mctm123 congrats so happy for you! You can start to relax.
@Blossom428 we will be having our scan around the same time so we are all in it together. We all have the exact same worries so we can be here to listen and help each other. It's difficult at this early stage when no one really knows your pregnant so you can feel alone in your thoughts and don't want to tell your partner your worries then worrying them! X

AnxiousAnnie86 · 01/12/2020 12:17

@Mctm123 that's wonderful!!!! How far gone are you now? Mine just looked like a blob at 8+5 got another at 10+2 next week x

Awww amazing to see @Mctm123 How far along are you?

@Bambi300180 yeah I'm really trying not to worry, I did say it to my OH this morning, but he just told me to stop worrying 😂🙈 really is hard when no one else knows. Hurry up next week!!
Yes least we can hopefully come out feeling very positive after our scans 😊

Redfoot89 · 01/12/2020 15:06

@Bambi300180 hey glad to hear you are keeping ok.

I just had a phonecall from my midwife, got a telephone booking in appointment on the 14th and then she will book me in to get bloods and weight etc done after that! She seemed really nice on the phone! Said she would normally do 8 weeks but shes off on annual leave next week 🤣👌 least its done now i just need to find somewhere peaceful at work so i can have the phonecall without anyone listening in 😖

Bambi300180 · 01/12/2020 15:10

@Redfoot89 that's great just explain to your work you will be expecting a private call and can they provide you with a room that you will not be disturbed. My booking appointment is at the hospital on the 15th so should get everything done on that day. Got all my appointment letters for booking and scan today through the post so all very official feeling now. How have you been feeling? X

Redfoot89 · 01/12/2020 15:21

@Bambi300180 its hard because i work in a school so there isnt really anywhere that i can go without someone being around 🙃 ill have to figure something out. Might just have to tell one staff member who i work directly with so that she can take the children out to the garden to play or something and i can just be in the nursery room 🤔

Pretty rubbish to be honest, feel sick and tired 24/7 but thankfully i haven't been sick yet. Boobs are heavy and achy constantly and my skin is covered in acne too 🤣🤣 all good though. Nervous about my private scan on fridayy

AnxiousAnnie86 · 01/12/2020 15:25

@Redfoot89 could you go sit in your car? The appointment is so so many questions! It takes an hour too!! X

OP posts:
Redfoot89 · 01/12/2020 15:34

@AnxiousAnnie86 i was thinking about my car but i walk to work as i live really close. I could take my car for one day. Im hoping we can get through it quickly, i never even thought to ask her how long it would take. Can i yes or no answer the questions without saying too much? I cant even call her back now to ask how long it will take as i dont have her number 🤣🤣🤣 im panicking now

AnxiousAnnie86 · 01/12/2020 15:42

@Redfoot89 the appointments are an hour long as standard, I don't think you'd get through it any quicker, I mainly just answered yes or no but some you have to give more detail on xxxx

OP posts:
Redfoot89 · 01/12/2020 16:14

@AnxiousAnnie86 mmm. Ill have a chat with my oh see if he can suggest anything. My other option is just to say i have an appointment and actually just go home for the hour as im only a ten minute walk up the road

Mctm123 · 01/12/2020 16:36

Thanks ladies I am 9+5 today x

AnxiousAnnie86 · 01/12/2020 16:39

@Mctm123 ohh that's exciting as that's exactly a week on from my last one and it looked like a gummy bear not a baby! Maybe next weeks scan will be baby like! Could you really see it?? X

OP posts:
Mctm123 · 01/12/2020 16:46

@AnxiousAnnie86 yes look...so cute!!

AnxiousAnnie86 · 01/12/2020 17:08

OP posts:
Blossom428 · 01/12/2020 17:09

Aww it's crazy the differences between the first few weeks isn't it!!
@Mctm123

Mctm123 · 01/12/2020 17:28

I’m sure they will @AnxiousAnnie86 exciting times!! I’ve got another one booked in for next Thursday too!! (Baby has had so many scans already!!) but has really reassured me xx

Yes @Blossom428 I couldn’t believe how much they had grown!! Xx

Blossom428 · 01/12/2020 20:36

Are your scans through your choice or have you had ivf? Sorry I've forgotten if you previously had said @Mctm123

Mctm123 · 01/12/2020 20:44

No worries @Blossom428 so I’ve had Ivf but because I’ve had 3 miscarriages also, I was under the recurrent clinic for additional scans too so I’ve been lucky in that today was my 4th scan and 2 more booked in (I think that will be it then but it’s been brilliant) x
