If I have missed you! Sorry! I did quickly scan through the start of the last thread, to add people and update the list, but only did this quick.

@Laanie, same here... No visitors for me either. Ours was changed last week and I cried for hours!!
Hoping DH will be able to stay for an hour or 2 after my section and that I'll be home ASAP 😩

The uncertainty is just hideous isn’t it. I’m trying not to think about it to be honest and repeating “what will be, will be” to myself 😬

The pelvic pressure is real this evening. Hoped a bath would help but it's not easing.

I don't blame all of you that are symptom spotting I was the same the week I went in to labour, the braxton hicks were sooo uncomfortable and the back pain was crazy I was thinking is this it? Also the pressure I was having down there. All week until it actually was it I didn't believe it, right up until I went to hospital I kept saying they're going to send me home and tell me it's braxton hicks like I have had all week, but i was actually in labour.

All those that want to hurry things along I am a firm believer that sperm works! It worked with my second and my midwife also recommended it to me this time round as soon as I got to full term but I didn't get that far. Do the deed, and let it sit in your cervix for a while, it is a natural source of prostaglandins which is the same thing that is used for inductions.

Induction is never an easy process 🙈 had the balloon which didn't do anything for 24 hours and then got the hormone drip. Went ok at the start but as it increased, so did the contractions and thought I could do it on gas and air. How wrong was I🙈 got the epidural which gave me a funny turn so had to have a mess dosage and start the drip again at about 1am.
Miss Sophia finally made an appearance at 5.35am and I'm so in love with her💖

@DressingGown87 that's such a good app, I'll download that, just been doing notes on the phone notebook so that sounds easier!

@Laanie I'm so sorry to hear that about restrictions. I think it's ridiculous for partners being sent home early or only get to spend 1 hour with their newborn! It's a life changing experience for them too

Congrats @Strawberries4days on the arrival of little Sophia! Sounds like quite the induction but hope you are both managing to rest up now

@Strawberries4days aww congratulations on the birth of your little girl Sophia. Such a lovely name. I agree with the induction process being tough, glad you got there in the end, it’s all soon forgotten about. Have lots of rest and cuddles.
The app adds it’s all up for you, and shows you in graph form, so you can see the milk increasing and pattens forming.

Sorry to hear that restrictions are being changed in some of your areas, it’s so unfair that people have to be alone, and people miss out. I hope you all have speedy recoveries and quick discharges so you can be back with your partners ASAP.

I woke up 3 times for a wee last night and each time had 10 minutes of the most awful cramps and back pain, I thought we were progressing, this morning absolutely nothing 😂 I think perhaps a November baby is looking more likely

Not sure if it's okay to post on here as it's the first time I have, but I keep stumbling onto this thread, it is my due date today and reading everyone's stories really passes this bloody impatient time! 😩😂

Who is my date twin? I'm sure there's a least one? I'm due 31st

I’ve not posted on here since the start of my pregnancy, but have been checking in and it’s lovely to read all the exciting announcements. Congratulations to all those who have already met their little ones! I’m due next Thurs (29th). Having lots of bh’s, but don’t think he’s coming anytime soon. Best wishes everyone

So many of us just waiting for our baby's to make their entrance now haha. I'm due next Tuesday but baby seems pretty comfortable where she is at the moment. Keep thinking I'll 'get a feeling' when labour is close haha but who knows!
Hope everyone is doing okay and not too uncomfortable (if that's possible)

@Monkeyseesmonkeydoesnt me! I am due on 31st. Got a growth scan on Monday and depending on what that shows, might be discussing induction.

@Mc3209 & @Monkeyseesmonkeydoesnt... And me! Due 31st but have now been booked for a section on 29th x

Ah fab! I had my little boy 4 days early and it's so hard not to compare this pregnancy! He was a fast labour too so I keep having to bring myself down to earth by telling myself this baby might be late and might be a long labour.

Hope the induction and growth scan go ok for you both

I m due on Monday so I m hoping not to go into November. Although my due date got moved 4 days earlier at my 12 week scan, and I ve never been sure if they were right to, he's been on the 50th percentile most of the time so we don't think he's going to be a big baby.

Hm, I'm due tomorrow and thought last night that today would be the day... Sadly not! Can't believe I'm still pregnant, my daughter was almost 3 weeks old by this point 😂
