@Gonesurfing at least you had a good morning that's a good start to it easing! My nausea has eased a lot (13+3 today) still occasionally get it when I'm hungry but nowhere near as bad as it was in the beginning xx

I'd say my symptoms seem to change :)
I'm 13 weeks tomorrow. Bloating is gone, nausea much less and I have more energy. But insomnia is worse and my lower abs started to stretch and its quite uncomfortable.
Getting my energy back is amazing :)

babydust2412 · 02/08/2020 10:21

@NotOnlyCatMum I'm definitely feeling the stretching have had more uncomfy pains over the past couple days xx
Some pains under my ribs every now and then too which I think is where my uterus is getting bigger xx

Hi @chloemedley and @MacMummy95 👋 welcome to the thread.

Glad some people are starting to feel a bit better. I’m shattered but went away for the weekend and ended up waking about 50km in two days. Think I need to rethink what I can do! Also scan approaching on Thursday and scanxiety is making it even harder to sleep in the early mornings. That and a million other things to worry about.

My stomach is still a bit all over the place. Can’t tell if it’s pregnancy or something I ate! Maybe a combination. Bloat is still pretty bad by the afternoon. Over 12 weeks now tho which is exciting.

MacMummy95 · 03/08/2020 09:23

I'm glad you could get away. I'm still trying to take it slow, on the days I feel better and try to do too much, I end up feeling faint!

Is it your first scan? I was a bit nervous but as soon as I was in there, I felt much better!

Muriel84 · 03/08/2020 09:49

We didn’t go far but it was really nice to get away! I do worry a bit about becoming unfit so I’m trying to keep up with as much as possible. Swimming the other day was really nice.

It will be my fourth scan! I had two early miscarriages prior to this and I have a problem with my uterus (it’s subseptate) so I had two early scans, then I paid for a private one at 10 weeks so my partner could come. I’m normally pretty laid back but my anxiety the last few months has been sky high.

MacMummy95 · 03/08/2020 10:33

@Muriel84 that makes sense. I'm a bit worried about getting unfit too. Hopefully I'll feel good enough to start exercising again.
Oh no, I'm sorry to hear you went through that! Hopefully this scan will help out your mind at ease a little.
@babydust2412 I'm doing well thanks! How old are you? Is this your first?

babydust2412 · 03/08/2020 11:29

@MacMummy95 I'm 18, been very worried about judgment due to my age so thought Mumsnet would be the perfect place to connect with other mummies who get what I'm going through ❤️ it's my first baby but second pregnancy as I had a miscarriage in April unfortunately 💕

MacMummy95 · 03/08/2020 12:08

I'm sorry to hear you went through that!

Judgement free woman here! What do you think you're having? 💗

babydust2412 · 03/08/2020 13:28

@MacMummy95 it's okay ❤️ definitely judgment free it's such a nice thing to be a part of ❤️
I've been convinced it's a girl since day one 💕 how about you?

Shaz1515 · 03/08/2020 14:34

@babydust2412 I’m due on 25th February, and I’ve started to feel really bloated and over the night I’ve had some pain in my ribs too. Would you say this was a normal part of pregnancy?

babydust2412 · 03/08/2020 18:11

@Shaz1515 yes it definitely is normal, bloating and rib pain sounds like gas pains which are extremely common during pregnancy and I've had rib pain due to my body stretching and things moving around too much ❤️ if you're worried pop a message to your midwife and I'm very sure she can reassure you 😊❤️

@babydust2412 Awe looking at them makes me crave to have my scan soon as.
Well defo can't tell what's the gender, but I know you want a girl I hope it is for your sake ❤ ❤❤

Muriel84 · 03/08/2020 21:17

@babydust2412 they are such lovely photos! I have no idea what the gender is either!

No judgement from me too. I can’t stand how judgey people get of pregnant women. X

Safxxx · 03/08/2020 23:30

@Muriel84 I went to the beach yesterday was nearly 4hrs drive away, wanted a break but came back shattered, I'm still so tired lol. Hope your scanxiety eases off, everytime I worry I reassure myself with the symptoms I'm getting, and the symptoms we get are a sure sign that things are good not bad. Your at a safe stage i'm sure all is well. Try to relax, and let us know how it goes on Thursday. Xxx

babydust2412 · 04/08/2020 08:19

@Muriel84 @Safxxx Thankyou ladies ❤️ good luck for your scans I'm sure they'll be great!
