@Safxxx thank you so much for your kind words, really appreciated. I definitely have learned my lesson from overdoing it on the weekend. I felt so rough yesterday, I burst into tears several times and lost it with my partner. Very unlike me! I’ve slept well and feel better today tho still a tad emosh! Xxx

Safxxx · 04/08/2020 10:57

@Muriel84 Awe bless you ❤ just blame all the hormones (and it is these monsters causing the stress lol) you will have up/down days, take each day ad it comes, try to rest as much as possible when you can, even if you can't sleep, lie down relax it makes a difference. I don't get much sleep, which makes me very tired thru out the day and moody, so during the day I go upstairs for some quiet time (mostly on my phone lol) and that lie down helps. 2 more days and you will see your baby, hold that thought and smile. Xxx

babydust2412 · 04/08/2020 16:18

@Muriel84 must have been so lovely to sleep well! I've really been struggling to get to sleep lately too ❤️
@OnNaturesCourse ohh I hope so 💕 how are you doing x

I'm well thank you, had a good day today in terms of sickness etc plus had my 12 week scan and got to see the wiggly wee baby kicking back relaxing in there.

Safxxx · 04/08/2020 23:14

@OnNaturesCourse Awe glad baby is doing well and is active. Good to hear your feeling well too. Xxx

Hi all
I hope you’re all well.
I’ve just found this thread (a bit slow!) I’m due on 21 Feb 🤞🏽. I had my booking appt last week but still waiting for the NHS scan appt, I’ve had to have a few private scans for reassurance, time really does seem to be going slowly!

Safxxx · 05/08/2020 14:05

@Snorlax86 hi congrats❤ hopefully you get your scan thru asap. Lovely to see alot of us are due in Feb 🤗
@Muriel84 hope all goes well tmro for your scan. Hopefully your anxiety is down and your feeling better emotionally Xxx

Muriel84 · 06/08/2020 18:26

@Safxxx thank you! I had my scan this morning. Such a whirlwind! I barely slept a wink last night I was so worried but all was fine. The detail of the scan was incredible. I had my booking appointment and bloods afterwards.

The doctor who did my scan put my due date forward four more days to the 10th of feb! I’m not sure if that’s accurate as I was tracking ovulation etc. But that’s the size it is now I guess!

I’m being referred to a specialist clinic because of my subseptate uterus. It might mean a scan every 2-3 weeks to assess the length of my cervix. I had to have an internal scan today too to look at it. All was fine though.

So feeling more positive and relieved. I went a bought my first baby clothes when I left the hospital - some tiny dungarees!

Hope everyone is feeling ok and staying cool in this hot weather x x

Safxxx · 06/08/2020 19:08

@Muriel84 I been anxiously waiting for your update. So glad all went well, very happy for you, hopefully its all good from now onwards. Awe you bought a outfit so cute ❤ keep the positive vibes.

I had my first blood tests this morning, my scan is next week can't wait. Still feel very bloated and very breathless , hard shopping in this humid weather specially with mask on. Xxx

Muriel84 · 06/08/2020 19:23

@Safxxx aww thank you ❤️❤️ Honestly I was so exhausted after the scan and all the adrenaline had gone I was just slumped in the chair talking to the midwife! 😂 it does feel really good to have had the scan and be at the end of the first trimester ☺️ I’ll try and relax a bit now!

I’m so breathless I feel suffocated in a mask! Xxx

babydust2412 · 06/08/2020 19:23

@Muriel84 amazing news! Aww tiny dungarees that's so sweet, I've bought some tigger dungarees they're so cute ❤️ so glad everything's good for you! A scan every 2-3 weeks, the positives are you get to see your little baby so often ❤️😊
It is very hot isn't it, less than enjoyable when pregnant 😂

I agree with you both, so breathless and the masks make it so difficult 😬 especially in this heat ❤️

Hi all, I am 11 weeks today and my estimated due date is 25th Feb 2021 Smile when did everyone receive their dating scan letter? Should I have received it by now? I'm back in the office next week after working from home since March and my midwife advised me to let work know early as they already have to do Covid risk assessment so might as well do pregnancy at the same time for the sake of a week or so..

Muriel84 · 06/08/2020 20:05

@babydust2412 thank you! 💗💗 tigger dungarees so sound cute! The ones I got have teeny elephants on them! Xx

Safxxx · 06/08/2020 20:17

@Stef92 hiya congrats on your pregnancy❤ I received my letter quite soon after I completed form online. You should receive it soon, in fact I received the scan appt way before the booking appt. I had my booking appt over phone last week, tday had my blood tests and next wk is my first scan at 12+wks. Good luck with everything hope all goes well. Xx

Stef92 · 06/08/2020 20:58

@Safxxx thanks for the reply. I've not had to fill in an online form? I had my bloods and booking in appointment a few weeks ago now, how long should I give it before I call the hospital? Hubby wants me to ring them tomorrow.

Safxxx · 06/08/2020 21:52

@Stef92 when I notified my doctor surgery I was given a website to go and register with midwife. Within 2 weeks I received the appt letter for scan. But I had to chase them for booking appt and blood tests.
Yours seems to be the other way round.
I guess you could ring them and find out what's happening, or you could ask your midwife to chase it up. Xx

Muriel84 · 06/08/2020 21:53

@Stef92 I’d ring the tomorrow for sure. I think everywhere’s a bit inundated at the mo! All those lockdown babies... my original scan appointment came through for over 14 weeks. I phoned and got it brought forward.

Snorlax86 · 07/08/2020 10:36

Thanks @Safxxx

I’ve finally received my scan appt, booking was almost 2 weeks ago. The scan is on a weekend afternoon, and our local trust charges if you want to have a scan photo!

Safxxx · 07/08/2020 11:55

@Snorlax86 That's great 👍🏼 can't believe they charge for scan pics. I hope ours don't as it didn't in the past. Xxx

Muriel84 · 07/08/2020 12:27

My appointment letter said they would charge for photos but then didn’t ask for any money!

This heat is too much! I had to go and pick something up for work by train and it was pretty tough going! Mask just makes it’s so much worse.

Glad you got your appointment through @Snorlax86

Stef92 · 07/08/2020 13:27

I have just come off the phone from the hospital and they have received nothing from my GP/community midwife with my booking in details etc. I've received it in the post but not to the hospital. Called my GP and they are closed for lunch. Not a great last hour 🤣

babydust2412 · 07/08/2020 13:39

@Snorlax86 glad you've been contacted with a scan appointment! Mine charges too it's ridiculous, paying for photos of my own child 😂
@Muriel84 I agree the heat is crazy! It makes my exhaustion so much worse and the masks are definitely not helpful 😕
