@babydust2412 your so young bless you. I got married young at 19yrs old. We tried to start a family straightaway but I went thru infertility problems and after 3yrs I finally got pregnant only to find out at 12wks it was a molar pregnancy that I had lost around 6wks. Was devastating but we tried again after another year same thing happened. Then finally after some time I had my daughter followed 3yrs later with son another 3yrs later my 3rd son. He's now 8yrs old so I wasn't expecting anymore but then out of the blue I'm preg again. I'm 39yrs old married for 21yrs. I believe this baby will complete our family.Xxx

FruitLoopyLoo · 27/09/2020 07:50

Yeah it's lovely to speak to ladies in the same position Smile

I'm so anxious with everything that's gone on previously so it's good to share.

I never ever thought I'd be here when I was in the middle of those losses. It took us nearly 4 years, I'm 26 so I spent a large amount of my twenties going through this and being depressed but it'll all be so worth it ❤️

Safxxx · 27/09/2020 08:56

@FruitLoopyLoo your such a strong woman, having going thru the losses and never giving up is amazing.
I truly hope you go full term with no complications and have a healthy baby. Hopefuly in the future you are blessed with more too. I'm so happy for you, wish you all the best ❤

Muriel84 · 27/09/2020 09:11

I agree it’s great to be able to talk to you all and it’s amazing that we all have such different life stories but are all in the same position sharing this experience. I was worried about trying to start at family at 35 after two decades on the pill. I feel incredibly grateful to be pregnant so soon. I was so naive before I started this journey though. I thought it would be more difficult to get pregnant but never anticipated the trauma of losing a pregnancy. I don’t think we talk about it enough cos nearly every woman seems to have faced some difficulty at some point.

Awake again in the early hours soz if I sound a bit emotional! X x x

Safxxx · 27/09/2020 09:52

@Muriel84 so true, it's not just you, I feel emotional too. When I look back and remember what I went thru I have to count my blessings twice now.
I guess experiences make us stronger and more grateful.
I am glad you didn't gave to go thru years of heartache, but believe me even 1 pregnancy loss is a great one.
Again I'm happy for you it's so good to hear good outcomes after the losses and heartache.
While many women don't have this opportunity to be mothers let's take a moment to appreciate what we have and be grateful for what we have. ❤❤❤

Char41zam · 27/09/2020 10:55

Being a mother is the biggest blessing in life, my oldest just started university and she is back home already as she missed me to much! No matter what age they are they will always be your baby, I am looking forward to having my kids be a big part of raising their new sibling too Smile

Safxxx · 27/09/2020 12:07

@Char41zam 💯 ❤❤❤

BatmanBaby · 29/09/2020 12:36

20 weeks + 1 today and having my scan on Friday!

I'm just worrying, I still haven't felt baby move. Is anyone else also not feeling baby yet?

IamC · 29/09/2020 12:57

@BatmanBaby I had my 20-weeker last week and still not 100% sure I'm feeling baby. I have an anterior placenta which explains the delay. I keep getting a tickle sensation which seems like it could be baby, but it's at the top of my belly which makes me doubt it.

Maybe you have an anterior placenta too? Hope all goes well at your scan.

Stef92 · 29/09/2020 13:39

I'm 19 weeks today and haven't felt anything yet, I think if it's your first it can be after 20 weeks you first start to feel anything?

BatmanBaby · 29/09/2020 14:00

Thanks, it's my third, but with a 6 year age gap and being a lot more toned than last time (hoping muscles are just holding everything in\cushioning it). Midwife did say it'll be more like a first pregnancy :/

Harehopper234 · 29/09/2020 14:51

@BatmanBaby I'm nearly 20 weeks and still yet to feelor show anything, everyone's different I suppose. I have strong core muscles too and have been telling myself that might be why also?

20 week scan tomorrow, sooo excited to see our little girl again. I hope everyone's scans have gone well so far and good luck to anyone who is due theirs soon!

BatmanBaby · 29/09/2020 14:54

@Harehopper234 could be the core muscles then! I have good core muscles from pole fitnesse and mud runs + gym :)

So excited to see out baby boy on Friday! Hope your scan goes well tomorrow!

pampero · 29/09/2020 15:13

Likewise I'm 19 + 1 and not convinced I've felt anything yet, but my midwife had also said that can be normal first time round. Looking forward to the scan to confirm everything 😊

babydust2412 · 29/09/2020 20:39

I've felt strong movements for a week now but I have the weakest core muscles possible haha 😂 I would say it's definitely because of the strong core muscles, don't worry yet, they say it can be up to week 25 when you start to feel baby xx
I've booked a 4d scan for November I'm so excited. Just a heads up if any of you planned to book one, the best package on window to the womb is on groupon at the moment at selected clinics for half price. Just in case you wanted to book one and save some money too ☺️ x

Got my 20 week scan a week on Thursday, hopefully hubby will be able to come despite being on local lockdown as they've not said he can't attend 🤞🏻

BatmanBaby · 30/09/2020 09:59

Oh do you have a link@babydust5412?

I've already said to my partner I want another scan around 30 weeks to break up the next 20 weeks ☺️

babydust2412 · 30/09/2020 10:30

@BatmanBaby www.groupon.co.uk/deals/window-to-the-womb-head-office there's the link for the scan ☺️
I wanted to do the exact same, my 4d scan is booked for when I'm 28 weeks x

@Stef92 if I was you I'll check with the midwife or hospital first.
My scan is next Monday, I messaged my midwife to ask if my husband is allowed to come along? Her reply was NO 🙄 due to covid restrictions. She did mention many women are booking private scans and taking patners with them.
Good luck with your upcoming scan Xxx

Stef92 · 30/09/2020 19:24

@Safxxx I tried to call them today but couldn't get through but there was an automated message saying "you may bring one partner or relative with you" 🤞🏻

Harehopper234 · 30/09/2020 19:57

Had our scan today, all seeming good she's growing just as she should be 😊 it's amazing how detailed they are with this scan and the sonographer was fantastic explaining everything she was seeing to us (and very patient as baby really wasn't playing ball!)
@Stef92 that sounds promising, hopefully your husband will be fine to attend!
Found out today I have a anterior placenta so also explains why I haven't felt movements yet.

pampero · 30/09/2020 21:01

@harehopper234 had a scan today as well & all looking good 😊 We were also amazed at the detail, even with a active baby moving all over the place, amazing I can't feel it yet! Sonograoher said I'll probably start to notice some proper kicks in 2-3 weeks.

Safxxx · 30/09/2020 21:27

@Stef92 Awe that's good Hopefuly he can go along with you. Xx
@Harehopper234
@Pampero
That's lovely both babies are doing well ❤

@babydust2412 thank you so much for posting this i have managed to get one for £40 which is half the price i paid for last time! Going to book it after 20 weeks scan so hubby can see as I doubt he will be able to come. Hope you are all well ladies! Got my scan next Tuesday, counting down the days xx

pampero · 01/10/2020 08:23

@gonesurfing that's bargain! Seeing hubby's face (as well as baby) was so worth spending the money. Xx
