@Safxxx no we don’t know... I managed not to look!

The waking up early has come back... wide awake from 4. Trying to not wake OH with the light from my phone 🙄x x x

IamC · 26/09/2020 06:05

@Muriel84 same...

Muriel84 · 26/09/2020 06:28

@IamC and this is the time we’re meant to be sleeping well right?! 😭

I’ve been listening to Clemmie Hoopers podcast on birth stories and having a little cry at the story of the prem twins. Turning into an emotional wreck already! X x x

IamC · 26/09/2020 06:36

@Muriel84 I think my problem is the side sleeping, It just doesn't feel natural and I toss and turn all night before giving up on sleep altogether.

Not heard of that podcast, but will have to check it out.

Muriel84 · 26/09/2020 06:42

@IamC same here. I can’t get used to side sleeping and toss and turn all night. I must be the worse bed partner! Xxx

Safxxx · 26/09/2020 08:15

@Muriel84
@IamC
I'm the same although I am a side sleeper, but at times my pillow just ain't comfortable, I've got about 3 which I swap around, or I'll get hot, or just can t breathe as feel stuffy, other times it's the bladder lol Ahh then it's the hubby all touchy touchy I'm like GET LOST I'm tired he's like your wide awake I'll say I'm trying to SLEEP Omg 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Safxxx · 26/09/2020 08:23

@Muriel84 Awe so you want a surprise that's nice, my first born was a surprise not because we didn't want to know, but she was in a position hard to tell.
So we bought all our baby things in neutral colours, I was so happy at birth it's a girl, later bought more pinky clothes etc.
For the other 2 times we found out their were boys.
You will love the surprise, it is quite exciting Xxx

Muriel84 · 26/09/2020 09:06

@Safxxx hahaha! I’m sure when my partner cuddles me he’s actually just trying to clamp me so I stop wriggling for 10 mins!

Yeah I’m excited for a surprise. I’ve never liked pink so it’s fine I can buy all the baby clothes I like! A few people have said they think it’s a boy which has made me even more determined not to find out! We really don’t mind either way ☺️ X x x

Char41zam · 26/09/2020 10:42

Morning all! Feeling very accomplished today as I have officially hit the half way mark today! Hasn’t been an easy 20 weeks but it’s been fast, hoping the next 20 maybe less will be a bit better and that we can find out on Thursday what we are having Smile

Safxxx · 26/09/2020 10:48

@Char41zam Ahh that's great and yes time is going fast, hope all goes well on Thursday for you, do update us on it. Xx

Char41zam · 26/09/2020 11:03

@Safxxx of course I will for sure Smile how you feeling today? I had a lot of sleepless nights in the first trimester and now I can sleep easily but I’m up for the toilet about 5 times! lol

Safxxx · 26/09/2020 11:24

@Char41zam I'm still going thru sleepless nights, only good sleep I get is if after few nights I've not slept properly and get so over tired then I will get knocked out for solid 4-5hrs other then that I'll sleep and wake up few times so annoying.
It's good you can sleep better now enjoy it while it lasts. Xxx
Other then that get other symptoms but coping lol

Char41zam · 26/09/2020 11:40

@Safxxx this has been my worst pregnancy but I think it’s cause I’m older and I have diabetes, I’m feeling much better in the second trimester though and like you I have symptoms but I’m coping, just so excited for baby to come as it’s been 12 years since my last! Smile

Safxxx · 26/09/2020 11:58

@Char41zam Awe bless You, I agree as it's been a big gap and were getting older it's not easy! But this too shall pass, as you said were half way there now another half to go and we can hold our bundles of joy in our arms 🤗 Xxx

Char41zam · 26/09/2020 12:09

@Safxxx can’t wait! It still feels surreal never thought I would be a mum again Smile

babydust2412 · 26/09/2020 16:31

Hey ladies, also been struggling to sleep sometimes but my first trimester exhaustion is making a reappearance again for some reason 😂😬 xx some nights I sleep super deeply end others it takes me hours to get to sleep xx
@Char41zam wow 12 year gap! You must be so excited that's amazing xx

Wow a 12 year gap!! Smile

Is this anyone elses 1st? It is ours.

I had 11 miscarriages unfortunately before this (all before 12 weeks due to a genetic condition) so this little guy is our proper miracle and likely only as I'm not sure I could go through all that again!

peonyrose87 · 26/09/2020 18:10

@FruitLoopyLoo it's my first after a few losses! ❤️

Char41zam · 26/09/2020 18:18

@babydust2412 yes my youngest is 12 and oldest 18! Didn’t think I could have anymore and after the rollercoaster year I have had it’s the biggest blessing ever, @FruitLoopyLoo so happy for you I can’t imagine the pain you have been through I had one loss and that was horrible! You are going to be so so overjoyed when you hold your precious bundle x

Muriel84 · 26/09/2020 21:04

@FruitLoopyLoo that’s absolutely amazing. X x x I had two losses before this pregnancy and I can’t even imagine how awful it must have been for you to go through that 11 times. This is my first baby and I’m 35 ☺️ X x x

babydust2412 · 26/09/2020 22:40

@FruitLoopyLoo that's amazing I'm so happy for you! So sorry for your previous losses xx
This is also my first after a miscarriage ❤️❤️

babydust2412 · 26/09/2020 22:46

It's lovely having you guys to talk to, being only 18 I don't have many other pregnant ladies or mums of young children to relate to so you're all amazing ❤️

Char41zam · 26/09/2020 23:25

@babydust2412 aww I’m glad you are finding it supportive, this is why I came on here too as I’m at the opposite side of it with being older none of my friends have this in common with me so it’s lovely to speak to everyone as we are all in the same position x

Safxxx · 27/09/2020 00:25

@babydust2412 I'm so glad you started this post, we have a whole range of diffrent mum's to be with our own diffrent experiences, none the less were now all in the same boat due around the same time. Will be nice to keep the post going and sharing baby experiences later. Xxx
