@babydust2412 Awe that is a very good sign. You know leaking breasts mostly indicate good milk supply Hopefuly.
I've been quite unlucky with my previous kids, I couldn't breast feed them, there was hardly anything there.
My friend who was pregnant at the time had more leaky breasts then me having breast milk.
So I'm assuming you will be ok to breast feed (if that's what you chose to do)
I'm realy hoping this time round I could breast feed my baby.
Wow your already 19wks you seem so ahead of us, are you due the first days of Feb? Xxx

babydust2412 · 11/09/2020 11:01

@Safxxx I'm not planning to breast feed but you never know once baby is actually here I could change my mind xx yes I'm due February 3rd, almost half way through now which seems crazy, my bump has really popped this week as I'm nearing 20 weeks, I'll attach a bump pic from this week 😊

@babydust2412 Awe bump is growing nicely 🤰I must admit mines big as yours I've expanded more earlier this time round. From 20wks onwards you will hopefuly feel baby move around ❤

NotOnlyCatMum · 11/09/2020 11:56

Nice bump @babydust2412
My new fav symptom is the itchy skin... Best when I'm out and about and boobs get really itchy 😁

babydust2412 · 11/09/2020 12:07

@Safxxx yes I can't wait to feel baby move ❤️ ahh that's lovely you also have a growing bump!
@NotOnlyCatMum me too omg it's so annoying when I'm in public and can't help but itch a boob 😂

Aww lovely bump @babydust2412

I’m still waiting for mine to pop out, it still looks like I’m bloated/ate one too many pies!

Also can’t wait to feel proper movements, Im hoping that will help with anxiety once I can feel baby inside.

Aww 🥰

I'm due Feb 5th so pretty much same stage as you and my bump has really popped too in the past week or two.

Anyone else due February 2021?
Safxxx · 11/09/2020 17:19

@FruitLoopyLoo lovely bump🤰 I think I might be slightly bigger then you and babydust, as I've gone wider too from hips and waist, and my bums got bigger too.
I shouldn't blame pregnancy for that should I? 🤔 it's everything I eat lol 🤣🤣🤣
But yours and babydust bumps are just right. I wonder if your having a boy too?
Everyone's diffrent but my personal experience was I was bigger and wider when pregnant with my first daughter, and only had a tummy bump with my 2 boys.
I wonder now if I'm having a girl again I do feel like I will. If I don't then damn those cakes and pies are doing no justice lol 🤣

bluang3l · 11/09/2020 17:31

16+2, called to ask when my 16 week appointment is only to be told that I'll get called when they get to my name on the list and they don't know when it will be. No appointment date or time, just when they get around to it. Crazy!! At least I definitely have my 20 week scan booked

I'm feeling pretty good at the moment, have got a little bump now and have managed to get to the gym 3 times this week! Feeling so much more normal now :)

NotOnlyCatMum · 11/09/2020 18:09

@snorlax86 I understand your anxiety, hope its not long to go for you to feel movements. I'm also really looking forward feeling the baby. Everyone is just asking 'have you felt him?' and it does make me stressed a bit, like I'm missing something. I know they are just being nice and I'm blaming the hormones for the drama :)

Safxxx · 11/09/2020 18:22

@bluang3l I was only given a phone consultation over the phone couple of days ago I'm 16+4. I've got my 20wk scan next month.
@NotOnlyCatMum don't stress about movements usually it's after 20wks sometimes it's bit more later on. Xxx

FruitLoopyLoo · 11/09/2020 18:31

I am having a boy! I found out a couple of weeks ago (paid private as too impatient Grin ).

To be fair, I think my bum and hips are ever so slightly starting to expand. But I am eating everything in sight at the moment after being horribly sick the first trimester and unable to eat anything but tuna and onion sandwiches at 9am 😂 now if it fits in my gob, it's good.

Safxxx · 11/09/2020 19:59

@FruitLoopyLoo aha I'm right at guessing you having a boy 😍
In case you have already told us in earlier post, I must have forgotten as I've got a baby brain lol
Slight widening is not a problem, I'm talking proper wider hips/waist but I do eat alot can't help it get quite hungry lol. And it doesn't help I'm not walking much, I rather drive everywhere 🙄 as I get quite out of breath whilst doing walks or chores around the house, so no wonder pounds are piling on 🤰 oh well Hopefuly I will shift the extra weight after baby is born, I won't restrict myself from anything during pregnancy Xx

babydust2412 · 11/09/2020 21:14

@FruitLoopyLoo aww you have a lovely bump 😊❤️

Aww what lovely bumps!! 😊😊 ❤️❤️

I thought I could feel some kicks on Thursday and then yesterday it was kicking loads all day. Must have been the position it was in. I could feel it against my hand. I’m 18 and a half weeks tho. It surprised me how low the kicks were!

@bluang3l that’s great you got to the gym three times! I have an exam next week but planning on getting a better routine afterwards. I normally jog I’m not a big gym fan. I almost got stuck trying to get the last packet of crisps off the back of the bottom shelf in Sainsbury’s the other day and so I think maybe I need to do some leg strengthening otherwise what am I going to be like in 10 weeks! 😳 x x x

FruitLoopyLoo · 12/09/2020 08:09

Wow I had a bad night last night 😪

My back is absolutely killing me last night and this morning along with my sciatica.

It's fine when I stand, it's when I lie down Sad

Safxxx · 12/09/2020 09:16

@Muriel84 Awe that's lovely your feeling movements ❤
@FruitLoopyLoo poor you hope you feel better soon. Sit and relax with a good old water bottle. Xxx

Muriel84 · 12/09/2020 09:55

@Safxxx it is really lovely! Keeps cheering me up when I’m feeling a bit pants! Gave me a good kick yesterday when I was procrastinating instead of studying...

@FruitLoopyLoo that sounds really miserable I’m sorry! I’ve got a swollen bursa in my hip bone, literally feels like a pain in the middle of my left bum, that’s worse when I’m lying down. I couldn’t cope with what you’re describing! It’s so hard to get comfy in bed. Did you speak to your GP? Xxx

Safxxx · 12/09/2020 11:20

@Muriel84 He/she wants Mama to study hard lol so you got a kick start 🤣🤣

Muriel84 · 12/09/2020 16:40

@Safxxx 😂he/she does! Very wise for its years... x x x

Hi - I'm a super anxious person and I'm just wondering if I'm being crazy? I had the harmony test (NIPT) which looks at Fetal DNA and it gave me low risk for downs (1 in 10,000), then had the Nuchal test which gave me high risk (1 in 132). My consultant said to just ignore the nuchal test because the harmony is so much more accurate and there is nothing to worry about at all. But I'm still anxious. Is that mad?

Muriel84 · 14/09/2020 09:51

@ilovethesmellofthesea I’d listen to your consultant. The harmony test has very high sensitivity and specificity for downs. NT does not! X x x

You're not mad at all. It's such an anxious time. I'm anxious about everything and anything!

Is there a particular reason you had the test done? I only ask as I had a CVS done on the NHS at 12 weeks due to the possibility of a genetic disorder (which came back negative thankfully) and that also checked for a few others including downs and I believe it's more accurate than harmony or other non invasive versions of the tests. If there's a specific reason you wanted the test done, could the hospital offer you something like this or amniocentesis?

I must admit, it wasn't a pleasant experience but I'm glad I had it done and after researching the accuracy and things before hand, I do trust the results it gave me.

Just try to remember, I don't think the consultant would tell you to ignore the test results if they were genuinely concerned about them!

FruitLoopyLoo · 14/09/2020 09:55

Although in your position, I'd probably not want to go through more invasive testing when you've already had the harmony and the consultant is happy with those results.

ilovethesmellofthesea · 14/09/2020 10:05

@FruitLoopyLoo I didn't have the harmony done for any particular reason. The consultant mentioned it as an option because it was more accurate than the nuchal test and I just wanted to do everything I could! I don't think I'm considering anything invasive because I just couldn't bear a 1% chance of miscarriage doing something that I do sort of think is to do with my own silly anxiety.

@Muriel84 yes - and obviously the consultant knows better than I do!

God anxiety is a pain!
