Just got my BFP after six bloody long months of trying. Thrilled but a bit weirded out! Anyone in the same boat?

@Opelbow I agree I don't feel alone when you ladies are here sorry feeling very emotional. Haha whenever I feel sad or alone I speak to you guys and feel a bit better thank you so much guys ❤️

And what your mum said is absolutely true ! Let's focus on the good we got this.

@gracex4 I'm glad you are feeling good sometimes I worry I will suffer from depression as it runs in my family then I remember it could just be the hormones crazy how pregnancy can make you feel I've turned in to a mad woman !

As yes you're right hun I could have psoriasis I'll check up on it with my midwife/doctor thank you so much 😊

@Newbee123 it is really odd as I've never had it in my life other than pregnancy when apparently if u have it usually pregnancy clears it up maybe your backwards like me 😆🤣x

Ugh. Woke up with a bad feeling this morning. It’s so weird. I’ve felt pretty comfortable this whole pregnancy but this morning I feel like something isn’t right. I’m not in pain of anything. No idea what’s brought it on. I think it’s having the MW appointment booked for Wednesday which has just made me think I’ll be faking it by going to that meeting when I’m not really pregnant. It’s stupid I know.

It's not. I often feel like how can I tell I'm really pregnant.
Just have to trust the test.

@Onekidnoclue that's how I felt yesterday, I was really sicky as usual and it had actually got worse but I was sad and felt that what if I do all the appointments and tests and then they say your lying... It's silly as I've had a scan too (private) and heard babies heart beat x

It’s so weird. I never felt like this with my little boy. But I’m convinced I’m going to be thrown out the midwifes for faking my pregnancy.

Got my first private scan today at 8 weeks. Super nervous 🙈 can everyone please keep their fingers crossed for me 🤞🏼❤️

I’ve officially lost it. Completely convinced I’m actually having a hallucination and am not really pregnant but also spent the last half hour looking at maternity clothes.

@Onekidnoclue I thought this yesterday been googling missed miscarriage even tho I've had a scan now I'm paranoid because I'm having another good day wtf and apparently u can have a missed miscarriage with out bleeding which had Thrown me 😑I don't have scan till 2nd

You're hilarious @onekidnoclue! I know what you mean though - I have told a couple of close friends and caught myself saying "I think I'm pregnant" and felt so stupid that I have no confidence in my pregnancy!!!

It’s so weird isn’t it. It’s like pregnancy limbo. In a way I feel like I’m still ‘trying’ but without the shagging!
DH is really sweet and used to my crazy so keeps telling me I can have extra scans if I want and I’m a bit tempted but feel like it’s a bit excessive as I want the harmony test which you need to be ten weeks for and they recommend after the dating scan so I feel like I should wait..... I’m hoping I’ll feel better once I get a date for the scan. I’m only 8 weeks though so it’s going to be a while!

@gracex4 did each of your pregnancies feel different? This is already tougher than my last one. Not sure if it’s just being that bit closer to 40 this time or it’s just that they’re always different

None of mine have started so hard like the sickness, tiredness etc also have never had so many pains or worried so much but like you say maybe because we are older and no more lol or maybe we are just nuts

Feel quite rubbish today. Struggling to motivate myself to do work today. Very tired!
Keep feeling my mini bump I can feel to keep reminding me it’s real.

@Onekidnoclue I’m sure you’re not making it up and not long until your appointment :) I’m sure they won’t kick you out. If you’re stressing do another test. I did about four haha.

@gracex4 So tired and bloated d! Had a 2h30 nap today and barely done any work. Feeling bit better tonight, we did some garden planting and I am now cooking a tikka curry for my hubby :)

Glad you got some rest and curry sounds amazing right now 😍 I've had a really good day today I'm bored out of my mind but (touch wood) the sickness has really lifted xx
