Just got my BFP after six bloody long months of trying. Thrilled but a bit weirded out! Anyone in the same boat?

@Onekidnoclue I’ve bought one from sloggi. No wire or anything. Quite comfortable to sleep in too. Not too tight too!

Thanks both. The amazon one says it’s not available til August. I think that’s the kind of thing I’m after. Just a bit of support without the structure.

Well I'm having a bit of a boob issue after Bf all four dc I had a left boob two sizes bigger than the right and they almost tucked in my pants so I had a breast augmentation now they have ballooned I can't say it's most comfortable and can no get away with a bra 😑 also praying I can breast feed have done research and most have been lucky too 🙃anyone?

Know what you mean @gracex4. I had a disastrous attempt at bf last time. Think I’ll try again this time but try not to get obsessed if it’s not working. First thing my DH said when I said I was pregnant is “you’d better not bf again”. Honestly it was a car crash! I’m going to ask my MW if she thinks it’s possible given the scarring on my nipples. What did yours say about the implants?

Sooo I ended up in hospital last night after throwing up all day and then collapsing. Turns out of got HG! I was dreading being told that! Has anyone else suffered before and found anything that helps?

I'm completely useless to anyone at the moment, all I do is sleep and throw up.

@nmw93 - I'm so, SO sorry you have HG. I do too. There is another thread I'm on which is specifically for Hyperemesis support. I'd really recommend joining.

Have you been given any medication to try and help symptoms?

@Onekidnoclue I haven't spoke to anyone about it lol and I didn't have them when I had the others 😬 scaring did u have surgery or did dc bits your nipple off lol x

@Seeker2020 I was originally given promethezine (sorry for the spelling) and since being in hospital they've given me metoclopromide which seems to be helping but the loose poops (sorry tmi) aren't a welcomed side effect!

@gracex4 I’ve got flat nipples and Ds had a tongue tie. He basically ripped chunks off me . I was an idiot. Basically the midwife kept saying that it was ok to bleed and usual to feel some pain. I thought I was being pathetic and didn’t make a fuss. Then I showed her an a piece of my nipple the size of a pound coin fell off on her floor!!! Looking back it was quite funny as she was horrified but at the time I was so embarrassed and picked it up and put it in the bin!!!

@Onekidnoclue OMG 🤣you poor bloody things although you should get a pound every time you say the story 🤪 actually ur hurting my nipples I thought it was bad when I got mastitis x

I tell EVERYONE much to my husbands horror! Have been known to show off battle wounds too when very drunk.
Mainly to show people who utterly stupid it is to get fixated on bf when it’s not working. It’s wonderful when it works but I’m a bit pissed with this idea that doing it or not is always a choice. Rant over!!!

Ha! It was a stupid situation of my own making really. If anyone with half a brain had been in the state I was in they would have shoved a bottle into their baby and lived happily ever after with a well fed little baby! My exams is not typical. I think bf is wonderful if it works and if it doesn’t we’re lucky to live somewhere with another great option.

Hello lovely ladies, hope your all doing well... Really struggling with sickness today it's none stop (previously just felt very sicky and gippy through the day) but it's now worse.
Can't wait for my 12 week scan just to know everything is still going well.

Got my bloods and booking in appointment next week so its the start of everything and will hopefully find out when my scan will be

Morning I know the feeling feel dreadful today my own fault had no appetite yesterday so didn’t really eat and paying the price today. Also feeling really moody think it’s the anxiety of the scan on Thursday just need to over with now I know that I should be exited I just need to know of everything is ok before I can let myself get there xx

I know how you all feel! I had a terrible day yesterday, had no appetite and a huge headache (probably due to the stressful day at work), really craved chips and then before I could eat them, I was sick... This was like 6pm!! Then I was really bloated and painful and just generally rubbish! Went to bed and woke up at 4am after horrible dreams and then couldn't get back to sleep... I'm 10+2 and haven't even seen a doctor yet, my first appointment isn't until 3rd July when I'll be 13+1 weeks so just can't wait for the. The cherry on top is the full blown ACNE!!! :-(

Oh don't ladies I've walked (literally snail walked) on the treadmill this morning because I woke up last night with such bad indigestion after stuffing my face I thought I need to do somthing, done 20 mins and was just like no this isn't a thing and went and had an ice lolly 🤣
I weigh more than I even thought now I'm going to have to have extra scans and diabetes tests 😕 anyone else on the larger side 🐷

Oh @gracex4 I did the same yesterday, ate way too much and felt awful and bloated. Promised today I'd be healthy and although I've been more active I've already had a packet of crisps and some ice cream! What's wrong with me!

@McDbaby I'm also having acne issues, not only do I feel rough but I look rough too! I'm trying to use some glycolic acid toner and vit c serum and its helped a bit.

I’m still loosing weight due to lack of appetite 😢 although I had my first full meal in a week yesterday. My belly is about four times the size though due to bloating. I’m only 7+3 but I look about 4 months gone x

I knew I would suffer with Acne as it started as soon as I came off the pill and I've suffered for a while (I'm 31)! Since being pregnant though, it's like another level, no amount of make up is covering it so I'm just having to embrace it a little. Will be easier when I can actually tell people I'm pregnant I think. But it has got me down! I usually go to a private dermatologist but obviously they are closed at the moment so just using their products and hoping for the best. Hope it calms down in the second trimester but I'm not hopeful. Defo no pregnancy glow going on here!

@McDbaby we are a day apart I am 10+3 and scan on the 2nd of July only had a call with the midwife so far. Due to a complicated loss last year can’t face the first scan alone so have booked a private one so that my partner can come with me. Hope your skin clears up pregnancy is beautiful isn’t it no one warns you of all this x
