Can't quite believe it but I've just taken a test this morning... Baby no.2 is on the way! According to the NHS due date calculator, I'm due on 1st June 2020.

We're both a bit surprised as we'd only just started "trying not trying" (very lucky, I know) and our first TTC journey was a bit of a rollercoaster. But yeah... Here we go! DD will have just turned 2 when they arrive. Terrifying but we're both very excited!

Anyone else also found out the same today?

Hi everyone!

I did a test a few days ago after a couple of days of very sore boobs. Called for my book in appointment and turns out that I'm 6 weeks pregnant! I kind of still don't believe it...

I'm quite worried because a couple of weekends ago I had a very drunken weekend (because I thought I had my period but it must have been implantation!!)

I am due 7th June - at least so they think at the moment!

@SuperSarah 💔💔 I’m so sorry, it’s really unfair. Take care of yourself xxx

Missgemini · 16/10/2019 19:49

@SuperSarah I'm so sorry to hear this. Must be awful. I hope you have some loved ones around to speak to.x

Missgemini · 16/10/2019 20:57

I caved and had a private scan today. Saw a nice heartbeat which was very reassuring after the blood stained mucus incident.
Scan dates me 6 weeks (I thought i was 6+5, so close enough). Due date is close to my birthday, so I'm very excited about that!

Anny27 · 16/10/2019 21:15

Thats really lovely @missgemini :D

I have mine in 9 days! Very excited

LH1987 · 16/10/2019 21:26

@SuperSarah So sorry to hear that.

MsChatterbox · 16/10/2019 22:32

Hello! Can I join please. Just found out today that baby number 2 is due June 27th after six months ttc. So very happy to be here 😊

MsChatterbox · 16/10/2019 23:41

Hi @mrssunshinexxx wasn't expecting to be here with you 😁

mrssunshinexxx · 17/10/2019 02:41

Hi @MsChatterbox 😍😍😍😍

MilsCookie · 17/10/2019 06:51

@SuperSarah so sorry to hear this. Sending love and strength 💛💛💛

@Missgemini my edd is 3 days before my birthday and was also my mum’s edd with me haha!

Missgemini · 17/10/2019 07:17

@MilsCookie Having a similar birthday would be so so exciting! I really hope all goes well for us all from here!

Babymom2 · 17/10/2019 10:52

Sorry new here how do you add a picture to your comments lol x

Anny27 · 17/10/2019 10:59

@babymom2 there should be a paperclip button under the comment you and writing :)

MsChatterbox · 17/10/2019 11:35

Guys how freaky is this. If my baby is 5 days late then there will be the exact same age gap between baby and my son as there is between me and my brother!

RPPs · 17/10/2019 12:46

Afternoon all
Im 6 weeks today, have my early scan tomorrow. Haven't had much in way of symptoms bar bloating and wind, but this morning the sickness has arrived. Anyone else experiencing the same and does anyone have any tips? I would love to ask my friends but until Ive had a clear scan tomorrow I dont want to inform anyone else.

Anny27 · 17/10/2019 12:54

@RPPs no tips sorry other than eat little and often (even if you dont feel like it)

My fridge is now full of easy quick snacks i can reach for easily and know that i can eat. 7+4 and i havent actually thrown up although i retch and dry heave often throughout the day 🙈

Lemonysherbet · 17/10/2019 13:03

@RPPs I second the snackages. I find if my stomach gets empty I feel really sick. My nausea has stepped up a gear this week, struggling at work big time!

I've got a private scan Saturday and I'm scared/excited all at once. I think it will make it feel more real :);

Vio112 · 17/10/2019 13:12

Hi everyone please can I join in? Found out yday that I'm 3weeks pregnant with my first, due around Jun 29th. So anxious at this stage! I'm really thirsty all the time and bloated. Didn't expect to have symptoms this early!

mrssunshinexxx · 17/10/2019 13:47

welcome @Vio112 :) you are only a few days behind me it's my first too x

Vio112 · 17/10/2019 13:54

Hi @mrssunshine I remember you from the ttc group 😁 I'm really confused about my weeks because I had a really short 3 day af last month and then ovulated only a week after it! Normally I have a full week of af and then 2 weeks until I ovulate but something went weird this time 🤔 so according to my app I'm 3w + 3 but in real terms I have no idea!! I also feel way too pregnant for so early on ha ha. And the fact that my tests are picking up hcg so early is making me freak out about multiples 😂 (and breathe....)

mrssunshinexxx · 17/10/2019 14:57

@Vio112 hmm I'm not sure are you booked in for your first midwife appointment ? X

Vio112 · 17/10/2019 15:03

@mrssunshinexxx yes, booked in for mid November. I guess I won't really find out until dating scan though. Fingers crossed! I spent about 30 quid on pregnancy tests yesterday so I'm going to keep testing every week to reassure myself that everything is OK. X

MsChatterbox · 17/10/2019 15:51

@vio112 on my app I can work it out by conception (so ovulation day) rather than by last af. Its pregnancy+. If you do this it should give you a more accurate date! Congratulations 😁. I'm due 27th June.

Seventytwoseventythree · 17/10/2019 16:00

@Anny27 thanks for tips - can you recommend what snacks work for you?

MsChatterbox · 17/10/2019 16:05

@seventytwoseventythree Pickled onion monster munch worked for me in last pregnancy 🤣🤣🤣
