Due June 2020...

Can't quite believe it but I've just taken a test this morning... Baby no.2 is on the way! According to the NHS due date calculator, I'm due on 1st June 2020.

We're both a bit surprised as we'd only just started "trying not trying" (very lucky, I know) and our first TTC journey was a bit of a rollercoaster. But yeah... Here we go! DD will have just turned 2 when they arrive. Terrifying but we're both very excited!

Anyone else also found out the same today?

@TwinkleStars15 I’m so sorry to hear that, can’t imagine what you went through 💔

I think you will see the heartbeat at 6 weeks and hear it at 8? That will be lovely for you. I can’t wait to have my 6 week scan!

Agree with you all too, after 18 of TTC and then having a mc I was heartbroken! I thought TTC was the hard bit! @Lilxcli you’re right about comparing symptoms x

Lilxcli · 27/09/2019 11:56

@TwinkleStars15 from what I understand brown blood in early pregnancy is common as it is old blood and could be from implantation. However if you are worried (and I understand why) every hospital has an Early Pregnancy Unit you can call and go to for women up to 16 weeks pregnant for any problems. Might be worth calling your local one for advice?

Jemstar33 · 27/09/2019 11:57

@TwinkleStars15 sorry just saw your latest message. Agree with @LoveRainbow02, it doesn’t always mean bad things. I think it’s common to have some bloody around the time your period will be due? Praying it’s all ok ❤️

Lilxcli · 27/09/2019 11:59

Sorry I missed the boat and just repeated you @LoveRainbow02! Sending 🤞🤞🤞 @TwinkleStars15

Oh I know @Jemstar33 but so easily done!

TwinkleStars15 · 27/09/2019 11:59

Yes I think I’ll call them, although I know there’s nothing they can do if the worst is going to happen, I probably just need to wait it out...

Anny27 · 27/09/2019 12:29

@twinklestars15 sending love 💚 like thw others said, brown blood is very common and ususlly noy a cause for concern. But i understand your anxiousness xxx

MamaPeas · 27/09/2019 13:06

Oh @TwinkleStars15, I'm sorry that's not what you need when you are already feeling anxious. Sending huge hugs. Let us know what EPU say. Fingers and toes cross that your body is just being an arsehole and stressing you out.

TwinkleStars15 · 27/09/2019 13:17

Thank you ladies Flowers EPU called back and said that the wouldn’t scan me until 6 weeks so to keep the appointment on Friday. She did say that if they get another cancellation for Wednesday she’ll call me, but otherwise to wait. She did the usual ‘bleeding is common’ which I know, but it doesn’t make it any less worrying does it?! She was lovely. I’m just sitting her at work waiting for cramps to start, going to the toilet every 20 minutes checking! Need to get a grip and distract myself.

AmyMaria2 · 27/09/2019 13:44

@TwinkleStars15 sorry, that must be so worrying but try and listen to them and just think positive, hopefully they get a cancellation for Wednesday! Good luck xx

I'm Waiting for my consultant to call with blood test results, feels like this mornings gone sooo slow! x

Jemstar33 · 27/09/2019 13:44

@twinklestars15 it certainly doesn’t make it any easier. Everything crossed for you x

Anny27 · 27/09/2019 13:53

@twinklestars15 fingers crossed everything is okay lovely xx

LoveRainbow02 · 27/09/2019 15:34

Hope everything is ok @TwinkleStars15.

I have just recieved a call from my midwife. In my area they now do half your booking in over the phone to reduce the time spent in your actual appointment. So many boring generic questions lol!

TwinkleStars15 · 27/09/2019 15:38

@AmyMaria2 thank you and good luck with your results!

@Jemstar33 @Anny27 @LoveRainbow02 thank you for your reassurance Flowers Still bleeding though and some bits are now red rather than brown so fearing the worst. The worst thing is not experiencing a ‘normal’ miscarriage before so not knowing what to expect. Got some tummy ache but no cramps, usual pre- period like ache xx

AmyMaria2 · 27/09/2019 15:38

Just had a call from doctor, she said it's definitely positive! My hcg levels 49, that sounds really low but I don't really know much about it, does anyone else know theirs? x

TwinkleStars15 · 27/09/2019 15:41

@Anny27 that’s great news! A quick google says that anything from 5-426 at 5 weeks is normal Flowers

Hayleylou89 · 27/09/2019 15:41

Thanks @TwinkleStars15

Has anyone been getting strong one sided pains that last a few mins and then ease off and feel i then feel perfectly fine... the past 2 days iv had this? X

MisssC3025 · 27/09/2019 15:45

I just have very bad low cramping and I get terrified every time I go to the loo and have to wipe! Sorry tmi! I'm filled with incredible anxiety 😥

Let's lift one another's spirits as I'm feeling rather crappy!

As a first timer I never know what's a good sign or not 🤦🏻‍♀️

Jemstar33 · 27/09/2019 16:01

@TwinkleStars15 when it happened to me I had really bad pain, the cramps went into my thighs. It was really painful, not the sort of pain you could sit in the office with. Which is hopeful! My blood started really light brown and then went bright red and I passed tissue. I really hope you’re not going through it. Xxxx

Jemstar33 · 27/09/2019 16:05

@Hayleylou89 @MisssC3025 I keep on having all the weird sensations too.

I just can’t stop feeling anxious xxx

Hayleylou89 · 27/09/2019 16:06

@TwinkleStars15 @Jemstar33 omg thank god uv both had the same ... i had to go and sit in works toilet yesterday until it eased off it was so bad and yes i was so scared incase i bled too as was really painful but no sign of any blood or anything to worry about and then about 30 mins ago the same pains for about 5-10 mins then it stopped ( thank god im working from home today) im watching you tube videos that just say its ligaments and things stretching 🤞🏻 ..so glad iv
Got you lot to talk too x

Hayleylou89 · 27/09/2019 16:08

TwinkleStars15 · 27/09/2019 16:10

@Jemstar33 thank you for sharing that, that’s kind of you. Do you mind me how long it was from your bleeding to everything being over?

TwinkleStars15 · 27/09/2019 16:10

*asking

Jemstar33 · 27/09/2019 16:11

@Hayleylou89 I was exactly 5 weeks when it happened, happened in June 💔

Yeah I keep going to the loo expecting blood too! Just wish we could fast forward the next month or two! Xxx
