Not long to wait now @barnyb I’ve got my fingers crossed. My next one is Tuesday. Took all of my strength not to ask my colleague to do one yesterday as that was a day further than my MMC. I’m completely fine and horribly symptomatic so logically know I just need to wait! She’s not in for the rest of the week so the temptation is over and I’ve calmed down!

ttc19 · 07/08/2019 07:56

@MunchyMunchkin Can I ask you a question about MMC? X

MunchyMunchkin · 07/08/2019 08:53

@ttc19 of course you can. Do you want to pm me?

ttc19 · 07/08/2019 09:01

@MunchyMunchkin Thank you, It's ok. I think I'm just being a bit bonkers but i wondered if you did notice anything different or have an inkling/feeling when you had your MMC? I'm 8+4 and the last few days my RHR has dropped a little & it's just freaked me out because I've heard this can be a sign of miscarriage. However, I'm sick as a dog & very symptomatic so don't really have any reason to worry. You know what it's like though.. the scan seems so far away, I don't even have a date yet. I'm just interested really to know if you noticed anything? Sorry if this sounds a bit crazy! X

I also have read that your RHR settles down around 8 weeks as your body is getting used to pumping all of the extra blood around.. I think I've read too many sad posts!! X

@ttc19 I’ll attach my graph - it dropped a bit from average 68 to 66 but that’s so small that I don’t think it was indicative. Think it stopped growing mid feb and I had surgical management on 27th of feb and it dropped back to my normal from there.
I was symptomatic until I had the procedure so had no real inkling. Even had a normal scan x 2 before it happened.
That’s the awful thing about MMC - you just have no clue.

Could you have a private scan around 9 weeks to settle your mind?

@ttc19 I haven’t got experience of MMC but this thread was from quite recently and may be helpful? It was a happy outcome xx

@ttc19 I actually started that thread after checking my Fitbit heart rate graph and convincing myself I'd had a MMC after frantically googling!
As u can see at the end, everything was fine😊 I know it's easier said than done (and I sound like a hypocrite now ha) but try not to worry because chances are everything is fine!x

Yvonne1988 · 07/08/2019 09:48

My resting heart rate has gone down from 78 to 71 but I read about your body getting used to all the extra stuff so hopefully that's it's cos nothing else has gone.

@Dinosauraddict iv had iron tablets a few times in my life. Hate them.

barnyb · 07/08/2019 09:54

@Dinosauraddict omg good luck !! ❤️

6+6 today and red blood when I wipe - none in the loo. Have had 2 MCs this year ... I’m really panicking 😢

OP posts:
Brandygirl27 · 07/08/2019 11:04

@keyboard91 have you had an early scan ? If not ring epu and get one as you have every reason to be worried thinking of you I had 3 consecutive mc 2 years ago and in the end they put me on medication and that’s what I’m on again now to prevent mc, thinking of you xx

Dinosauraddict · 07/08/2019 11:10

@Keyboard91 so sorry to hear this. Seriously go to EPU. Try not to panic in the meantime though, a lot of people on this thread have had some bleeding and it has been ok Thanks

Dinosauraddict · 07/08/2019 11:10

And yes @Yvonne1988 I really hate these tablets. Had them once before as a teenager, but don't remember reacting like this.

Thanks @barnyb will update after!

Keyboard91 · 07/08/2019 11:14

@brandygirl27 they refused to give me an early scan when I called at 6 weeks due to history so was going to book a private one for next week (when I’d be 8 weeks). Just peed again and it’s absolutely nothing. Is that positive? My first MC I bled (like a medium period) consistently for 2 days then nothing for a week then an obvious MC began. But the fact it’s stopped straight away good? I haven’t been having nausea long enough for it to be consistent or reliable a sign.

Keyboard91 · 07/08/2019 11:15

@Dinosauraddict I just googled for the number and it says they don’t scan after 11:15 am so I won’t get a scan today :/

OP posts:
Dinosauraddict · 07/08/2019 12:32

@Keyboard91 why don't you try and bring forward a private scan? Most clinics would have you in today if you were concerned.

Just had my latest scan; all is fine my end. Baby doing well and measuring on track. Saw the arms and spine, and everything is where it should be. Feels more real each time. Love seeing the little flickering heartbeat..

Yvonne1988 · 07/08/2019 12:39

I just had mine. And it was there with its little heartbeat. About a week behind what I thought but mine was just a guess

Brandygirl27 · 07/08/2019 12:43

@Keyboard91 huni if you need one then go down there they will scan you!! They have to babe! Tbh that’s why I’ve been worried as I haven’t had bad sickness this time just extreme exhaustion babe!! And have to eat very frequently so I was worrying but I was reassured yesterday big time!! Every pregnancy is different so defo don’t go by not feeling very sick as I’m the same and I’m all ok, go to a&e if your bleeding or ring 111 they can not scan you hun, your history aswell explain it all!! Im keeping everything crossed for you, when i misscarried the first time it was quite later on, 8-9 weeks and I was told by 111 to go to a&e and they took me up to epu and that was late I. The evening, they then done bloods and kept me in, had a scan and Baby did have a heartbeat but not strong and I ended up staying in a few days, so go don’t wait huni, praying it is all ok! Some bleeds do happen and it’s normal xx

Brandygirl27 · 07/08/2019 12:46

@Dinosauraddict@brilliant news 😍 how far are you ? X

@Yvonne1988 brilliant news 😍 how far are you then ? X

maybenextmonth · 07/08/2019 12:57

Hi ladies, I've not been very active on here but am following you all. Congrats to those who've had scans recently! I had one last week which reassured me.
Ive had sore boobs since I found out but today it escalated to a sharp stabbing pain directly in my right nipple! I've googled and it's normal apparently but my god it's painful. Has anyone else had that!?

Yvonne1988 · 07/08/2019 13:05

@Brandygirl27 they said it looks about 7 and a half weeks. Still quite small. Feel like I have to do a week all over again 😂 but there was only one and it was in the right place. My 12 week scan is on the 16th September. 3 days before my birthday. Gonna be a long 5 weeks! But I can stop worrying every time I go to the toilet now. I think.

oksim · 07/08/2019 13:12

@maybenextmonth oh my gosh that sounds horrible!!! Not had that just big swollen boobs!
I've ended up needing a sick day from work today as the vomiting is horrendous today. So bloody frustrating! I'm so glad and grateful that we managed to get pregnant after 3 years trying, but my god I'm so fed up of the constant vomiting and nausea! Cyclizine no longer works and actually makes me worse 🙄🙄🙄 fingers crossed it stops soon, I don't think I could do 9 months of this
