on the phone now trying to go to the EPU is a watery brown type discharge - small amount in nicks (tmi sorry)

am so worried and paranoid, esp as i'm not 100% on dates. m/w this week said to 'assume I was 8 weeks and if it's differnt from the scan to change it then'

what could it be? had 2 m/c's prior to DS

and DH is ment to be away today all week.

Good Luck today

my1stbaby · 31/07/2007 08:41

pip-very good news that bleeding has ligthen up . The consultant that scanned me last Fri said that the bleeding that I had could possibly be the beanie burrowing deeper in the womb and displacing minor blood vessels. Could be the same for you too? Good luck with scan this morning. Big hugs x

TrinaJ · 31/07/2007 09:26

Egg · 31/07/2007 10:24

Oh Pip am so sorry. I would ask your DH to come home, you will want his moral support I imagine. Lots of love. x

pipsqueeke · 31/07/2007 10:40

i'm not sure what to think now- have just passes a clear buddle type substance - not sure it's the sac or if it's a show of sorts? was about the size of a 2p (ish) bigger than a 1p. would that be all now- jsut bleeding to come, I don't think i could handle having any more like that

DH is on his way form kent. we're in dorset.

my1stbaby · 31/07/2007 10:46

Pip-I'm sorry to say I don't know as when I m/c'd, it was in a NHS walk in clinic's toilet. Everything was flushed down. Are you feeling the cramps now?

pipsqueeke · 31/07/2007 10:48

no no cramps at all, just heavy bleeding now

OP posts:
my1stbaby · 31/07/2007 11:13

Do you think you are going through the m/c now? Sounds like it with the bleeding-you might not need to make the decision after all. Not a consolation I know but I was glad that I had a natural m/c. How are you feeling? x

flowerybeanbag · 31/07/2007 11:14

from what you've said it's probably come away now, will just be bleeding, so no need for op.

MrsMcJnr · 31/07/2007 14:19

I am so sorry I hope the end is not too painful and doesn't take too long. Please talk to us - many of us know exactly how you feel xx

NoNickname · 31/07/2007 14:23

Sorry about your news pipsqueeke. About a year ago, I had an early scan due to loss of symptoms, and it was sad news too. I went to the docs to specifically ask about whether to do things naturally or to have an op. He said he wouldn't recommend going in to hospital for anyone unless they absolutely had to, so recommended the natural route. I liked his approach, and thought it made sense. I really couldn't see the point in me undergoing an intrusive medical procedure when mother nature was well-equipped to do it herself. A mc isn't nice (physically or mentally) but I think I am right in saying that the bleeding after a D&C is almost as prolonged and as heavy as a "natural" mc.

Good luck with whatever you decide.

Nemo2007 · 31/07/2007 16:03

pip Jarm told me to look here, I am really sorry hun<a class="break-all" href="//[" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">[. Lots of love to you and your boys[dh and ds]. Have the hospital given you a rescan date to check if everything is passing? Or even when to phone and book d+c? Dont let them mess you around like I was as to be honest it is better to get it sorted out and then you can do your grieving.

beansprout · 31/07/2007 16:10

I'm so, so, sorry Pip. I'm also sorry if I tried to hard to get your hopes up when your instinct was telling you differently.
I hope dh can come home soon and support you through this. Please take care of yourself xx
