Tentatively starting a thread for those due in March 2020! I got my BFP yesterday and EDD is 3rd March next year. I got my BFP really early so nervously waiting for the days to go by until I feel a bit more ‘pregnant’. This is number 2 for me. Anyone else out there in the same boat?

@Pikachu1 heya! Congratulations:) I'm due 8th roughly x

Ibizababyy · 10/07/2019 17:49

Ohhhh can I join?! Finally got my BFP this morning 5 days late for AF after testing negative so far. Been feeling really sick and having lots of funny stretching aches/ pains so was convinced. Absolutely over the moon to finally get my bfp this morning! Internet calculator reckons all being well is be due March 14th.

Will read back through some of the thread but hello everyone!

avocadoincident · 10/07/2019 18:22

@blondie87 It is number 3 but I'm cheating really as my first is at uni.
That's right...my eldest is 20 and then my middle one is (love saying that) 15months.

I'm 40 in December so it was a now or never burst for number 3.

Congratulations everyone. Hope you are handling this heat!

mrslaurenbrown · 10/07/2019 18:43

Hi everyone I'm having the smallest amount of brown spotting again today. A small spot of brownish discharge in underwear and a brown tinge on the paper when wiping. Do I need to see or contact anyone about this or is this all seen as normal?

Ibizababyy · 10/07/2019 18:49

Mrslaurenbrown i had a bleed (bright red blood) around 6 weeks with my first and rang the EPU in floods of tears she advised that I wear a pad and unless it fills a full pad then not to worry. Had a similar thing happen at 10 weeks and he is now turning 4 in 2 weeks time.

barnyb · 10/07/2019 18:49

@fulanigirl I had cramps for two days not constant but they had been there. ! Was very worried but they have stopped now. Try not to worry because lots of people say they had them and all was ok! Xxxx

barnyb · 10/07/2019 18:53

@mrslaurenbrown hello honey I would wait and see how or if it progresses. if it changes colour to red and gets a little heavier then I'd contact your EPU unit just for advice. They will most likely book you in for a scan at the most convenient time. That is what they did for me xxxx

barnyb · 10/07/2019 18:56

@mrslaurenbrown also EPU unit is Early Pregnancy Unit which should be at your local hospital. Just call the switch board and ask for that. If not then ask for the maternity ward and they can direct you on to them. They are great and are there all the time. Xxxxx

mrslaurenbrown · 10/07/2019 20:10

@barnyb @Ibizababyy thank you both. I feel reassured. I will keep an eye on it for colour change and volume and assess it from there. It's very minimal at the moment so we'll see how it goes. Toying with the idea of booking a private scan on Saturday as I'll be 7 weeks but I could also do with the money 😂.

Bol87 · 10/07/2019 20:44

Hello!

Got my BFP this morning after a no show period yesterday.. this will be our second all being well! Over the moon Grin but still a little cautious as I know it’s very early days!

Predicted due date 13th March but I’m certain I ovulated 3/4 days late this month, so I think it’ll get moved back a tad!

Congratulations to everyone here Flowers here’s to a healthy 9 months!

threegreensheep · 10/07/2019 21:00

@bol87 congratulations! My 2nd too, and due 12th (but first was induced for being overdue) so imagine it'll be more like end of March if all stays well.

QueenOfThePumpkins · 10/07/2019 21:01

Welcome to all the newbies who have joined today, congratulations to you all!

I've heard that a small amount of bleeding in pregnancy is usually nothing to worry about @mrslaurenbrown, so try not to stress too much.

I've been having quite a lot of egg white cm today and I'm not sure whether that's normal or not, but trying not to think too much of it. Feel so inexperienced with all this, not sure what to expect at all! I can't concentrate at work and end up spending the day reading about being pregnant Blush

I love some of the creative ways you ladies told your partners :) I wish I'd done something similar now, but my DH and I looked at the test together (and then looked at each other like "I think... is it... Shock")

Bol87 · 10/07/2019 21:18

Not so creative here.. I was away with work Mon to today & I felt rough the minute I arrived in London. By yesterday evening, I started twigging some of the symptoms were similar to my last pregnancy, albeit much earlier than last time! Hmm I bought a couple tests and tested in the hotel this morning..! I then hung on all day travelling home and basically pulled the sticks out my bag when I got back & said some news from me .. Grin

Last time was equally boring, I just ran downstairs waving the test!

mrslaurenbrown · 10/07/2019 21:35

This was my 'announcement' lol. Best I could come up with at short notice.

Hi ladies, I'd like to join too please. Got my BFP today at 16dpo. 2nd child. Edd 14/3/20! X

Frillyfarmer · 10/07/2019 23:07

I've fallen off this thread as I'm away on hols. 6+1 and the bloat is real. Cautiously optimistic this week, hopefully will arrive home to an early scan letter for left week.

Anyone else hit nausea yet? I'm not being sick but I'm dry heaving and watery mouthed a lot of the day.

QueenOfThePumpkins · 11/07/2019 06:32

Glad it's not just me then @Bol87 Grin
It must have been hard testing away from home and having to keep it to yourself for a bit!

Love the pic @mrslaurenbrown, that's so cute!

Congrats on the positive @ttc19, welcome to the club :)

Hope you have a lovely holiday @Frillyfarmer, at least there is something exciting to look forward to when you get back!

I'm now 5 weeks + 2 and the only symptom I had (sore breasts) actually seems to be going... I am a little worried, not sure whether it's normal for symptoms to fluctuate a bit? I've had no nausea at all and my appetite is still far too high. Unfortunately a few pregnancy symptoms sound like regular old me anyway lol... I have always been a total sleepyhead, feel tired all the time and go to bed before 10pm, but that's absolutely nothing new. I've always had a very strong sense of smell (which hasn't increased any further). I'm known for always being emotional (have been known to cry when my cat is sleeping in a particularly cute way! Blush). So it might be hard for me to tell I suppose!

barnyb · 11/07/2019 06:45

@Frillyfarmer yes I feel sick all the tome! It's so awful! I can't cook in my kitchen because I hate the smell of my kitchen !! The fridge and the cupboards! i haven't been sick yet. Just feel it and don't know what to eat xxxxxx

Sunshinemummy88 · 11/07/2019 07:15

Hi
I’ve decided to take the plunge and join a ns hoping for the best
I am a mum of a son who is 11
Me and my partner have suffered 5 misscarriages the last being in October. Still can’t quite believe we have finally got a BFP on Tuesday morning so much so I did 4 tests just to be sure. However I did another this morning and it is lighter than the previous ones so now I am worrying 😢 could this be a bad sign

Dreams2020 · 11/07/2019 07:40

Welcome to the group!

Stay positive and go to the docs and have it checked out. I don’t know how far gone you are by I know they can transfer you to the early pregnancy unit to check everything is ok.

Don’t thing the worst just yet.

Dreams2020 · 11/07/2019 07:47

Ok ladies so I’m having drama in my life, broke it the OH I’m pregnant the other night after the ectopic pregnancy scare and he was fine but the following morning he changed, even had a nerve to say it’s not time yet for either of us! Honestly men can be such a**se anyway I told him where he can as I was very upset with his words.

He wants to attend the scan in two weeks with me (this will be a 7 week scan) hopefully seeing a heartbeat will make him understand this is real....I do understand digesting the info is hard for him.

Oh and he also said his dream is to buy a house first! Indian men for you from back home!!! I called him selfish and told him to stop stressing me out.

If this stupid man thinks I would do anything to harm this baby he has another thing coming!!

This is God’s gift 🙏🏼❤️

Anyway can’t be thinking about him he will just have to get use to it, he’s going to be a dad, whether that’s an absent one or not is his choice.

barnyb · 11/07/2019 08:01

@Dreams2020 did your partner not know he was trying for a baby when you conceived? I guess if you don't want a baby and now isn't the right time then he should have used a condom right! ?
Maybe he's in shock and wasn't sure what to think of it. Like I say, after the scan he might change his mind x

barnyb · 11/07/2019 08:03

@Sunshinemummy88 wow 5 m.c's that must be so tough!! I had two and my last one was November last year. I don't think you should read much into the faint line in second test. These tests are so hit and miss! Yes go see doc and explain. They might suggest a blood test xxx

Dreams2020 · 11/07/2019 08:07

Exactly! You don’t want to have a baby stick a coat on it!

I hope so for his sake he has a change of heart at the scan, if he doesn’t good luck to him! Will be his loss not mine.
