Tentatively starting a thread for those due in March 2020! I got my BFP yesterday and EDD is 3rd March next year. I got my BFP really early so nervously waiting for the days to go by until I feel a bit more ‘pregnant’. This is number 2 for me. Anyone else out there in the same boat?

@MaryH90 with my two full-term pregnancies I was never sick just nauseous so it can be normal to feel like that!

MunchyMunchkin · 09/07/2019 07:40

@QueenOfThePumpkins I also did another test yesterday. Can’t seem to stop Wink so nice to see a dark test line!

@Suzanne4989 hope youre testing today and get a positive.

@MaryH90 hopefully you won’t be as sick this pregnancy. My friend had one with awful vomiting and one without.
I’m waiting for my reflux to fully kick in, have the medication ready. I hate rennies and Gaviscon so just go straight to the good stuff.

barnyb · 09/07/2019 07:57

Hey guys has anyone had any food aversions? I feel sick all the time but not actually sick. Everything I eat it's instantly on my "never going to eat that again list" every makes me feel sick! all foods and smells ! helllllp

Suzanne4989 · 09/07/2019 08:00

@MunchyMunchkin @Abi58 so tested this morning and has a negative. Still having mild cramps so I have no idea what's happening! I've had mild cramps for 1 week - which doesn't normally happen. Will have to wait and see if af shows up this week. X

MunchyMunchkin · 09/07/2019 08:01

@barnyb that stage is the worst. In my sorts pregnancy I couldn’t eat anything tomato based or spicy for months.
Go for bland foods - I keep ready salt crisps or little packs of crackers to hand to head of the nausea. If you catch it in time I could normally manage some other food after that.

barnyb · 09/07/2019 08:08

@MunchyMunchkin the problem is. The thought of anything is making me want to be sick. Crisps.. noooo! biccys... nooo!!!
The only thing I'm ok with is weatabix and really cold milk with banana or blue berries ! Or possibly a vanilla yoghurt with some oats in. no1 knows at work so I'm worrying about lunch times etc. I'm so grateful I'm pregnant and I'm so happy but this sucks because I love food and I'm quite healthy !!!! Xxxx

MunchyMunchkin · 09/07/2019 08:27

Eat what you can, even if it’s weetabix for lunch at work! Can you take yourself off somewhere for a walk or quieter lunch break?

My problem with lunch at work is that I normally do intermittent fasting. So pre pregnancy would often not eat at all at work and suddenly I’m eating lunch! I just end up saying I’m maintaining my weight or that I fasted from earlier the day before.

mrslaurenbrown · 09/07/2019 09:15

What symptoms is everyone experiencing so far? I just have low motivation (probably tired) and feel I'm coming down with something. Boobs are heavy and a bit sore on the side when pressed. If I stretch my stomach it feels as though I've overdone it on abs at the gym (I have not been doing abs at the gym Grin) and my gums feel irritated.

AuroraMJ · 09/07/2019 10:09

Hi all.

Thanks for all your messages is support.

I've had my scan and they said it doesn't appear to be ectopic but as it's such early days, it was hard to see the yolk sac. They thought they could see a flicker but they want to be 100% sure. Fairly positive it's ok though.

They've taken my blood this morning and have to go back in 48 hours to check increase/decrease in HCG levels. She said that this should hopefully rule out ectopic/early miscarriage. Ovaries all looked good.

Still a bit of a waiting game but we did see a little bean on the scan which was reassuring!

Dreams2020 · 09/07/2019 12:38

Hi all hope your all good.

I had a internal scan this morning to check if the baby was ok as the GP pressed so hard on my side made me say ouch!

Anyway that was all I said and I was referred to the EPU.

After the scare of a possible erotic pregnancy I was happy to see the sac and dot.

Most importantly they confirmed the baby is in the womb and nowhere it shouldn’t be.

Going back in 2 weeks for a further scan.

helpasisterout · 09/07/2019 13:10

I think I'm only about 4 weeks but I am absolutely exhausted but yet struggling to sleep at night! Anyone else?

Abi58 · 09/07/2019 13:36

@barnyb not had any aversions yet but I have lost my appetite a bit and before if my husband got choc out I'd be straight in but now I'm almost not bothered I'll eat it but I'm not wanting it as such.

@Suzanne4989 🤞🏻 for you! Which brand test did you use?

@MunchyMunchkin great nausea advice thank you!

@mrslaurenbrown how are you feeling in general?
I feel ok but having waves of nausea and I'm currently feeling quite sick and dizzy 😩
Also always bloated and look about 6 months with oily skin and spots 😩

@AuroraMJ so glad it went ok 💕 sounds positive. Aw could you actually see the baby(even though it's really tiny) how many weeks are you now?

@Dreams2020 that's great news! And although a scare and a pain it's great that they act and get it checked to be sure. How many weeks are you now and what did you see?

@helpasisterout I'm exhausted but not struggling to sleep. If I waste up in the night I am struggling to get back to sleep

AuroraMJ · 09/07/2019 13:57

@Abi58 Thanks - trying to stay positive but I just feel like I want to 100% know and make sure everything is fine now!

I'm 5w+4 and we could see the gestational sac which looked fine but couldn't really see the yolk sac. We saw a tiny flicker but the Sonographer thinks it was too early to see clearly. So I currently have a 'pregnancy of unknown location'

I actually had a private booked for this weekend when I would be 6 weeks but I might hold off a little longer now.

mrslaurenbrown · 09/07/2019 14:29

@Abi58 I had the bloating thing at week 5 (basically from the day I had bfp) but mines gone for now. In general I feel fine. If I didn't know I was pregnant I wouldn't think anything of it. People have said I'm being quiet but I'm not sure if that's just pregnancy on my mind. I definitely wouldn't say I have nausea yet more just I'm not starving for anything or fancying anything but I'll eat it cause it's there. How far gone are you? I'm 6+2 now

mrslaurenbrown · 09/07/2019 14:32

@MaryH90 I'm 6+2 and no nausea yet. My mum and MIL have both said theirs started at 8 weeks.

Abi58 · 09/07/2019 14:40

@AuroraMJ it all sounds positive though they just have to say that as they actually couldn't be certain.

Don't forget it's doubling in size every week so there might be something to see by then. Or ask them if they can just move the date because you've had to have an early scan and you want to wait until there will be more development.

I'm having a scan next week at 6+4 and hoping to see something 🤞🏻🙈

@mrslaurenbrown im 5+3 and had bloating for over a week (found out at 3+2) I look about 6 months 😂🙈
Really good that you feel fine ☺️
I've got waves of nausea and dizziness and extremely tired ...not ideal when I have so much to do lol

Dreams2020 · 09/07/2019 15:15

5 weeks tomorrow! But yes very reassuring to see the dot which is still forming.

barnyb · 09/07/2019 15:43

Lol guys I have so much bloating too! I have right tunic at work and it's hard to hide !!!!

barnyb · 09/07/2019 15:56

Right

barnyb · 09/07/2019 15:56

TIGHT

Abi58 · 09/07/2019 16:23

@Dreams2020 still lovely :) will you be having any other early scans?

@barnyb im with you although I'm trying to wear my baggy stuff (don't have a set thing I wear) thankfully no questions why I'm wearing loose as for a good few months I have anyway as feel conscious as gained a bit of weight 😂

blondie87 · 09/07/2019 16:53

I am struggling on the work trouser front 😂 Forgot a bobble so had to use an elastic band looped through as I couldn’t do my trousers up after lunch!

Dreams2020 · 09/07/2019 16:58

Having one in 2 weeks! 😉😀😊

blondie87 · 09/07/2019 16:58

So glad you got some reassurance @AuroraMJ- hope things continue to move in a positive direction!

AuroraMJ · 09/07/2019 17:35

Thanks @blondie87 !

@Abi58 If you're dates are definitely correct, you'll most likely see something then, even if it is tiny!

I've just had the call with my blood results and they've said they're all in line with a normal pregnancy! Because the Sonographer said she thought she could see the yolk sac, instead of checking my bloods again in 48 hours, they're just going to rescan me next Tuesday to confirm everything is looking good! Definitely a lot more positive after that phone call! 😃 Let's hope it stays that way! 🤞🏻
