Tentatively starting a thread for those due in March 2020! I got my BFP yesterday and EDD is 3rd March next year. I got my BFP really early so nervously waiting for the days to go by until I feel a bit more ‘pregnant’. This is number 2 for me. Anyone else out there in the same boat?

Has anyone’s morning sickness started yet? I’ve had a few period of retching but no proper sickness yet. 6 weeks tomorrow. I’m actually looking forward to it so I know my hormones are on the rise!

@Dinosauraddict has it been quite severe? I had waves of nausea since ov but it's starting to kick up a notch. So many things but all minor, feels so odd wanting to feel 'worse' to feel better 😂

@MaryH90 haha I know what you mean see above 😂
I'm 5+2 and having waves of nausea but no wrenching or being sick yet. Sorry tmi but I am having it the other end when I thought it was supposed to cause constipation 🙈

My symptoms atm are:
Bloated (look 6 months)
Waves of nausea
Oily shiny skin and spots
Boobs feel bruised (although this is easing / I'm getting used to it)
Sore (feel sunburnt) nipples
The odd twinge and cramp down there
A lot more tired than normal but keep telling my self it can't be the pregnancy as it's so early to feel this tired 🤷🏻‍♀️ any one else?

MaryH90 · 07/07/2019 10:40

I found the tiredness to be the worst in the first few and last few weeks with my DD! Your body has a lot of adjustments to make housing the new addition. Although it makes you feel daft cos baby is the size of a pea!

@MaryH90 that has made me feel loads better I felt like I was imagining it as so early 🙈

MaryH90 · 07/07/2019 11:47

@Abi58 I’ve been absolutely exhausted since about 4 weeks. Falling asleep on the sofa at 7/8pm every night. It’s perfectly normal. I think I picked up at around 10-12 weeks last time and felt fab until about 30 weeks.

@MaryH90 oh blimey it's good that you can sleep when you need to! Mines not that bad (although if I was on the sofa I'd probably be asleep) I'm yawning like mad already 😂🙈

I'm hoping mine stays like this if I'm more tired I'm going to struggle with my studies lol

Hey ladies, congratulations to u all!
I got a very faint positive on a first response test on weds.
Now here is where it gets complicated....... been off the mini pill 4 weeks today and the only time I could of conceived was from the 19th June onwards........ I started getting cramps and sore boobs exactly a week after, but in my mind, surely it can't happen that quick?!
Ugh dunno what to think to be honest ...... still got sore boobs and nausea tho lol xx

@CrazyFooLady your fertility can return immediately so you could have ovulated 2 weeks ago if stopped 4 weeks ago ☺️
Congratulations!

CrazyFooLady · 07/07/2019 16:04

@Abi58 thank u, I'm going to test again next week coz that line was quite faint

Abi58 · 07/07/2019 16:06

@CrazyFooLady that's similar to my first one but it will give you peace of mind ☺️

Cupcakes1234 · 07/07/2019 16:10

@CrazyFooLady I came off the mini pill and conceived pretty much straight away! The doctor told me that my body must just come back normal very quickly from contraception

CrazyFooLady · 07/07/2019 16:11

@Abi58 thank u, I have been reading some of ur posts...... so I'm hoping that things will be ok.
Although I know I conceived on the 19th, so technically 2 weeks..,,,, the docs will say I'm 4weeks?! Is that correct?!
Been googling too much crap on the internet x

Abi58 · 07/07/2019 16:21

@CrazyFooLady 🤞🏻 for you but you are pregnant so try not to worry ☺️
Yes so 2 weeks since conception but the drs measure from your last period so 4 😁

CrazyFooLady · 07/07/2019 16:48

@Abi58 ahhhhh that's where I was getting really confused..... lol so next weds I will be 5 weeks. Hopefully I will get a stronger line on the test by then x

Abi58 · 07/07/2019 16:56

@CrazyFooLady yes 😁🤞🏻

CrazyFooLady · 07/07/2019 16:57

@Abi58 thank u for all ur help, u have really helped me out with trying to understand all of this x

Abi58 · 07/07/2019 17:07

@CrazyFooLady happy to help where I can😁

Abi58 · 07/07/2019 17:12

Sorry for the tmi everyone but is anyone else getting stomach upset? As in possibly like morning sickness but the other end? Feel so nauseous and going a few times and it's like I'm ill 😩🙈 just wondering if it's just me 😂

satsumasaturday · 07/07/2019 17:21

@Abi58 I'm having the complete opposite problem I'm afraid so not much help - although google thinks it's normal due to the changes on hormones so I wouldn't worry. Do you feel ok and are just "looser" or do you get crampyness in you tummy too as if it's something you ate?

Abi58 · 07/07/2019 17:27

@satsumasaturday thank you ☺️ I'm not worried really more curious if this is my version of morning sickness 😂 Im rarely every sick it's normally the other end😩

Dinosauraddict · 07/07/2019 17:42

@Abi58 I am exactly the same. I googled it a few days ago as was worried and same as PP has said, it's apparently due to hormonal changes. I do also have major nausea but not actual vomiting.

Abi58 · 07/07/2019 18:05

@Dinosauraddict so glad it's not just me, I'd be quite happy if this was instead of sickness (more embarrassing but I hate being sick 🙈)
(Although obv not glad your having it) lol

lidslola1008 · 07/07/2019 21:34

Hi Moms/M2B! Just found out I’m expecting with my second baby sometime March next year !!! OMGGG what am I doing !! Wink
Such an awkward time for me as it’s my birthday coming up have loads of days and plans out which will involve drinking. I really don’t want to tell friends or family yet! Help!

QueenOfThePumpkins · 08/07/2019 06:33

Congrats @lidslola1008 Grin I know what you mean about the drinking... I've just returned from a big family holiday and I wasn't drinking due to being in the 2WW. I accepted a glass of wine a few times and then sneakily swapped DH's empty glass with my full one! Other evenings I said my head was feeling a bit funny so I was going to lay off the booze. Probably still raised a few suspicions though! Could you try the old "antibiotics" one?

Is anyone planning on sharing the news with anybody yet? I am dying to tell just my mum and sister, but not sure if people tend to fully keep it between themselves until 12 weeks? Really nervous about telling people even though I am 28 and have been married 5 years Grin

Mostunexpected · 08/07/2019 06:38

Congrats lids! Can you drive more, so can't drink? Or have non-alcoholic drinks that you can pretend are alcoholic and when others are buying have weak ones like malibu/tia maria/archers with lots of mixer then have a sip or 2 and misplace it or sneakily replace with just mixer. I drink cocktails a lot so checked out the menu in advance and just asked for mocktails by name and no one figured out I was buying non alcoholic ones.
Don't use the antibiotic excuse whatever you do. No one will buy it.
