Hey lovelies!
I'm currently 9+2 weeks and looking for anyone who is at a similar stage as me! I'm constantly looking on these threads just for someone who can share this journey with me, it gets kind of lonely without a pregnancy friend!
I have my booking in appointment on 24th and my 12 (although I'll be 13 weeks) scan on 7th June... which seems such a long way away!
Anyway please feel free to say hi 👋🏽

Hi All,

I’m currently sat on the floor of a train back from London, I thought it might be a good time to catch up and see how everyone is getting on?
I am not pregnant enough yet to need a seat, just looking rather chubby, my jeans are definitely getting uncomfortable, I wish I was noticeably pregnant because I hate that I just look fat at the moment.

How is everyone getting on? What news from your pregnancies? Are you all still taking the multivitamins or did you stop after the 12 week mark? I can’t decide what to do.
@LHMB did you get your blood results?

Hope you are all doing well?
😊

LHMB · 20/06/2019 19:17

Hi TTc2019BabyNo1 I know what you mean about not looking pregnant yet, just chubby! I'm finding some of my jeans, dresses and skirts are starting to get a bit tight although weirdly my jeans are all now baggy on the legs, I've gone down a size in jeans but if I buy new ones in a size down they'll be way too tight round the waist, yet I don't have the baby bump for maternity ones yet!
I'm still taking Pregnacare, I'll be 14 weeks on Sunday.
I had the results from my bloods that screened for Down's, Edward's and Patau's and thankfully came came low risk and normal.
Still getting the odd bit of brown discharge and sometimes period type aches in legs and stomach, so that worries me but I'm a massive worrier and over thinker anyway

AryaNoOne · 20/06/2019 19:59

Hi @TTc2019BabyNo1.

I’m all right thanks, about 14 weeks now. I’m still getting quite nauseous and so tired, I thought it would be better by now!

I am still taking my multivitamins, my midwife told me to talk them all the way through so I will do that.

Nervousdave · 20/06/2019 21:29

I'm nearly 15 weeks, taking combined folic acid+Vit D - there was a voucher for a free pack from Boots when you join the parents club. I might move to a generic multivitamin when they run out though, as now most of the organs are formed, the baby's just growing bigger, and the pregnancy ones are pretty expensive!

Dreamsunshine · 21/06/2019 18:43

Hi ladies, I'm 16.1 now and wish my bump would just come so I knew things were happening and going ok. still feel completely normal, my clothes have got a wee bit tighter but not so much that I need maternity clothes, just look a bit chubby lol im still taking my vitamins. Definately have a bit more energy. Xx

TTc2019BabyNo1 · 24/06/2019 18:42

Hi All,

Nice to hear you’re doing well. @AryaNoOne sorry you are still not feeling great :(! Hopefully it’ll pass soon!!

I finally had my ‘second’ first scan today and it looks like i’m now a week or so behind you all as i’m 13+5, due on Christmas Day!! 😃
Fingers crossed i’m early or on time, i’d rather it didn’t drag into January!

Anyone thought about buying anything yet?
Or baby names?
Who’s, finding out what they’re having?? 😃🎄

xoxhayleyxox · 24/06/2019 18:57

@TTc2019BabyNo1 yay that's fab news. Glad you finally have a due date!
We've got names for both boy and girl and are finding out the gender, we're having a gender reveal party in about 4 weeks which is super exciting. I'm 16 weeks tomorrow which has just flown by, hopefully the next 16 go just as quick!
How about yourself, any names yet? And are you going to find out the gender? X

@xoxhayleyxox
Oh wow you are organised! We haven’t even thought about names yet, I think we will probably disagree lol 🙈! I wonder if we wait to find out what we’re having and then think of names, rather than arguing over ones we will never use! Haha! We are definitely going to find out.
So how are you doing your gender reveal? Have you got a plan? Balloons or a cake or? How exciting!
I just can’t wait to buy a cute Christmas outfit for it, like a rudolf or Christmas pudding lol!! My husband just rolled his eyes 🙄!!

xoxhayleyxox · 25/06/2019 10:23

@TTc2019BabyNo1 haha I know we are! Finding out first what you're having is probably a good idea. My MIL who I don't get on fabulously well with is upset at my girls name because the middle name is my mums name. So she's very offended which could've possibly been avoided had we of just waiting to find out gender before discussing names 🤦🏽‍♀️ not that I'm changing it if we do have a girl haha.
Are you going to wait for 20 week scan or do a private one before?
So we've booked a private gender scan where we won't find out the gender, but have it written down in an envelope and also buy confetti cannons from the place after the scan. And then on the 27th July we're having a party and going to pop the cannons! So excited.
Haha aww that's so cute. Can't wait for little Christmas outfits! Xx

@xoxhayleyxox that’s a lovely idea! So it’ll be just as much of a surprise to you guys as well as everyone else 😊.
Do you secretly have a preference?
My husband would rather a boy and I would prefer a girl, but I have a feeling it’s a boy, (not that it matters as long as it’s healthy, just quiet preferences).

Is anyone else having a gender reveal party?
When is everyone’s 20 week scans booked for?

Dreamsunshine · 26/06/2019 22:14

Awh the gender reveal sounds fab. We've decided not to find out the gender and leave it a surprise :) I don't have a date for my 20 weeks scan yet. We went to a surestart registration evening tonight and it was brilliant. The goodie bag was a bonus... it had a wee baby vest and baby gro in it aswell.... ahhh how exciting xx

LHMB · 27/06/2019 08:29

We've decided not to find out as well and have the surprise. My 20 week scan is July 31st

Dreamsunshine · 27/06/2019 17:33

Got my date today for 20 week scan on the 19th July. :) can't wait. Just need reassurance that everything is ok so I can start to relax....hopefully xx

AryaNoOne · 03/07/2019 09:56

Hi everyone. Just thought I would say hello and check in. I have two excellent milestones to share Smile. One is I finally feel less sick - it’s amazing to be able to brush my teeth without feeling nauseous for the first time in weeks! And the second even better one is I think I felt our baby move last night for the very first time! I was at a gig so I am joking that s/he either loves or hates live music. It was just a little flutter, on the left hand side of my abdomen. I know it’s early and so I might be imagining things but it really did feel new. Has anyone else had that yet? And if so how did it feel?

Dreamsunshine · 03/07/2019 11:33

AryaNoOne that's great you are feeling better!!! Yea for the past week maybe once a day but not always I've felt a wee flutter almost like bubbles!! I keep doubting myself but I'm convinced it must be baby having a wee move around. I'm 18weeks tomorrow. Clothes are welll and truly tighter but still no obvious bump yet, still just look a bit chubbier lol xx

Abbiegriffiths · 03/07/2019 12:07

Hi I'm 28 weeks with my first baby and I'm 17 so am young and very nervous but so excited would love to joint along in the thread and hear all advice xx

AryaNoOne · 03/07/2019 14:18

Ah that’s exciting @Dreamsunshine and sounds like what I felt so maybe they are wriggling away in there. I have my 16 week appointment next week but have to wait until August for my next scan: it feels like forever!

AryaNoOne · 03/07/2019 14:20

Hi @Abbiegriffiths and welcome Smile

How have you found everything so far? Do you know if you are having a boy or a girl?

Abbiegriffiths · 04/07/2019 09:30

Hi @AryaNoOne thank you Smile
Iv found it okay had really bad morning sickness at the start got back pains and leg cramps now .
I am having a little boy Smile

AryaNoOne · 05/07/2019 07:38

Ah @Abbiegriffiths that’s exciting. What is his due date?

My morning sickness was bad too early on but thankfully getting better now. I didn’t know cramps were a thing: might have those to look forward to lol.

Abbiegriffiths · 05/07/2019 08:06

@AryaNoOne yeee it is exciting but cramps are the worse it's when I'm asleep and I will just wake up with mad leg cramps . Hopefully u will avoid that aha .

He's due 23rd September Smile

How far along are you ? Xx

xoxhayleyxox · 06/07/2019 11:48

Has anyone else's morning sickness returned? Mines back with a vengeance 🤢😩 also have my private gender scan today but my gender reveal is in 3 weeks, let's hope I can resist opening the envelope for that long! 😂x

Hi @Abbiegriffiths, I’m about 16 weeks and due on 19 December Smile. I think most people on this thread are around that stage, though don’t have to be so we’d love you to stay if you’d like to and chat to us about your baby and what is ahead!

AryaNoOne · 07/07/2019 07:01

How was the gender scan @xoxhayleyxox? Are you managing to leave the envelope closed lol?

xoxhayleyxox · 07/07/2019 07:45

@AryaNoOne if I'm completely honest... we decided to find out at the scan. We took both mums with us and found out together which was amazing. I'm having a beautiful little healthy boy and were over the moon. For anyone else, it's a secret still and rest of family and friends will find out on 27th. We got the full movie of the scan too and saw him in 4d which was just incredible! I cried because it just made it so real that I'm growing an actual human! His little face is just everything 💙
