@2018isanewyear congratulations on good scan results!
We got ours yesterday and they were all good Smile I was a bit worried this time (again) as my age is against us but all good so I'm happy.

I’m just turning 14 weeks and my stomach is huge! think it’s mostly bloat but I feel embarrassed to show so early. Is anyone else showing?

Adding myself! 11+5 and feeling HUGE. DSD (almost 6) doesn't know yet, but she told me yesterday she thinks we'll have a baby soon because my belly is big!

@srk16 you can see my bump pic on this thread or maybe the end of the last one. I'm huge but am embracing it now as I'm clearly pregnant.
Anyone got any tips for a pregnancy pillow? I had a full body one last time that my sister gave me but it was so big and really sweaty. Don't want a "u" one as they seem to take up the whole bed. I'm currently using a regular pillow to rest my bump on but it's not ideal and makes my back and hips ache mid way through the night.

@Frizzy1986 I have the configurable pillow from Chicco (called a Chicco total body pillow - the old version rather than the new one which comes all in one piece) - it comes in three parts (connected by velcro). I found it really useful as I could use the bit(s) I wanted on any given night . Towards the end the entire pillow was in in but in the beginning I just needed the bottom part.

pattyhoo · 07/04/2019 07:36

Adding myself to the list, scan was this week and we're five days ahead of where we thought we were based on ovulation times.

Worried about combined test results as I'm 35.

All set up for the trade fair for the next e days...and cant think of anything i want to do less. My back and legs are so painful, i dont know how many orders ill be able to complete while i feel like this, cant bear the thought of speaking to businesses and i seem to have had a late influx of sad hormones! Sorry for the moaning but i just feel so fed up today.

Secretlifeofme · 07/04/2019 08:16

Update - my bleeding increased slightly and became more red in colour, so I went for an emergency scan and everything is fine! In fact the baby is measuring big for dates, at around 11+1. The doctor said the bleeding is coming from my cervix, which has become irritated somehow. So relieved! Smile Hope everyone else is doing OK too Flowers

Secretlifeofme · 07/04/2019 08:18

I didn't think I'd be able to get a scan on a Sunday but I managed to find a clinic that would do it :) it's been a crazy couple of days with the bleeding, a long haul flight and now the weirdness of the time difference but I feel so much better now we've seen our little bean wriggling around on the screen Grin

2018isanewyear · 07/04/2019 08:37

@Secretlifeofme that's great news!!!!

NMCB · 07/04/2019 08:43

@Secretlifeofme great news!

NMCB · 07/04/2019 08:45

@Doop sometimes I dread something so much and then I end up actually enjoying myself....hope this is the same for you today Thanks

Secretlifeofme · 07/04/2019 08:56

@Doop I hope your trade fair goes well, hopefully it won't be as bad as you feared Flowers

Dyra · 07/04/2019 08:58

Glad everything went ok with your scan @Secretlifeofme.

Hearing everyone's combined test results starting to come back is making me wish baby had been more co-operative for mine. Sad

I know that the quad test should pick up Down's and the 20 week scan any of the abnormalities associated with Edwards' and Patau's, so I will find out eventually. But it all feels so far away still.

Ah well, midwife next week. 16 weeks here I come!

Claireb2203 · 07/04/2019 09:16

Anyone else having this gagging thing, where u feel fine but just randomly start gagging? It's horrible and if it happens too much I'm sick. It settled down for a week or so now at 14 +3 It's back!

2018isanewyear · 07/04/2019 09:16

@Dyra my was a blood test for screening they did the standard fluid on neck check during scan but the results I received were from the blood test (from myself) therefore no baby co-operation required. Not sure if it's something you Can ask for at your 16 weeks appointment, I was offered it at booking in?

@secretlifeofme glad all is ok

I am still feeling extremely tired tbh wish I could just have some energy.

I got midwife in couple weeks and an appointment at the preterm clinic the week afterwards where I will get another scan and a chat about my past and what's to come. 14 weeks tomorrow. With my son I lost I am sure I started feeling flutters by now maybe this one likes to hide and move. I am starting to think my placenta maybe at the front this time.

Hope everyone is ok
