Hello! I couldn't find a thread, so I'm starting one. I'm due on the 5th. My DPs 40th birthday!

@naughtysausage @TheGruffalosLoveChild

I didn't mean cancel fully, I'd still go for the first night (so still about £100 min) but the following day with the physical activity and clubbing night I think I would like to cancel. The wedding itself is costing nearly £1k to go to (eek!) And DH and I are reluctant for me to pay for things that I can't do, iykwim? The bride didn't quite make it clear it would cost so much to attend the wedding and its a bit out of my budget anyway and now with a potential impending baby I guess we are just trying to see where we can cut costs. Hopefully if I did cancel the second night it would only affect everyone by £10 but I still feel horribly guilty too. Argh, I'm so confused and worried about it, It's really taking the edge of my happiness to be pregnant I think. I hate letting people down but also need to do what's right for my family too? Sorry I'm rambling!

Could someone add me please? I’m on my phone so can’t copy and paste. App says I’m due 7th Nov but I reckon this date will be brought forward.

Hi can I join please. I'm 38 have a DD who is 4, and I'm pregnant right after a miscarriage at the end of Jan without a period inbetween, so not sure of dates. Faint positive on 24th Feb and clear blue says 2-3 weeks today so somewhere between 4 & 5 weeks. Obviously I'm a bit anxious, and if this pg continues it's going to feel like I've been pregnant about a year! For now I'm going with 3rd Nov as due date x

@prequelle 5mg isn't available to buy over the counter unfortunately. Thankfully my diabetic nurse prescribed it yesterday for me.

Hi, congrats to everyone on their BFPs. Hoping I can join too, I’m 38, two boys aged 8, 4 and i miscarried in November. Took a CB digi yesterday which was positive and said 2-3 weeks. Think due date will be 5/6th November. Excited but nervous in view of miscarriage. Keep running the loo to check constantly. Feel tired, sickly then hungry, boobs bigger, struggling to sleep and restless legs. Me and DH won’t be telling anyone till 12 weeks, it’s going to big so hard.

buninthebun · 02/03/2019 08:47

Hi everyone, I'm due around 7 Nov. Excited and also terrified. Looking forward to this journey with you ladies!

Prequelle · 02/03/2019 09:31

thenight I completely missed the 5mg part, I'm an idiot Blush

Think I spoke too soon about no symptoms. Absolutely shattered today and nauseous on an empty stomach.

Self referred to the MW yesterday and they have already given me the folder with notes and screening info in. All seems so real now!

@amehh I'd still go for the one night, I think that is more than fair. Definitely put yourself and family first! Especially when it's costing that much to actually go to the wedding Shock

Jjohno · 02/03/2019 09:52

My doctors haven’t booked me in until I’m 8 weeks! Has anyone else got this?

amehh · 02/03/2019 09:53

@MrsPMT23 thanks :) after sleeping on it, I know that's the right thing to do :) I still really want to go! I just know that the Saturday won't be for me. It's just a pain that I'll have to tell the bride and maid of honour before 7 weeks as that's when the dress fitting and money is due but that can't be helped!

MrsPMT23 · 02/03/2019 11:10

@Jjohno are you unable to self refer? I know some doctors work differently. I self referred and the receptionist said they will organise bloods with the MW around 8 weeks - it could be an appointment for that?

@amehh glad to hear you're feeling better about it! I went to a few hen parties when I was pregnant with DD1 and I would have rather missed out on the drinking/dancing/night out/activities side of things. Would have saved a bit of money too!

Prequelle · 02/03/2019 11:21

jjohno same here. Can only ring my gp practice at 8 weeks and then it’ll take god knows how long to see the midwife

Prequelle · 02/03/2019 11:22

Can I be added to the list please? I’m due the 3rd Nov

Cegbee · 02/03/2019 11:26

Keep getting shooting pains in my right 'ovary' (where I imagine it is), for last two days. Not severe at all but obviously I've convinced myself I have an ectopic. I'm a doctor, I really didn't imagine I'd be this anxious about every minor symptom!

Prequelle · 02/03/2019 11:37

Cegbee I’ve had the same pains. The worse thing is I work on a female surgical ward that has an emergency gynae clinic attached so whenever I’m at work and feel a twinge I’m like ohhhh god I’m going to end up in the clinic. I think because I see failed pregnancies so often I’m super paranoid

Hi everyone! New to Mumsnet. I'm 32 and pregnant with my first child. I think my due date will be around October 28-November 1. We conceived pretty much straight away...
