Hello!! Anyone else just find out that they are expecting in August?? 🤗🤗

Awwwww. Bless them. Yep he's the same, helpful and can't do enough but nothing, NO EMOTIONS or questions or interests that are particularly REGARDING the baby. I'm grateful and slightly absolutely may be milking the whole "nip out for snacks pleeeaaase" thing but I just sit and look at other people's scans and even baby clothes and ooh and aah !!
I think you're right, they're just more paractically minded but still ..... ( risks sounding selfish, hormonal and dreamy but oh well). Hope you're feeling as good as you can be whoopsies (and all other lovely mums)

What’s everyone doing about baths? I LOVE a hot bath in the evening once the kids have gone to bed. I read you mustn’t have too hot a bath so I’ve been keeping the cold tap on a little longer. It’s just not the same though. When is it safe to have a hot bath again?

@Blii I've been having warm ones, read as long as your skin doesn't go red you're fine. But it's so sad sitting in warm water 😭 also I can't sit in them for as long.

Omg I'm well embarrassed .... knew nothing about not having baths I LOVE them and I too would be miserable as sin in a lukewarm puddle of disappointment

I didn’t know about it in my first pregnancy and was still having major hot baths. He came out fine but I now I know hot baths can be dangerous I’m worrying. Think I’m worrying about everything! Lukewarm baths it is for a while.
I’ve been having mood swings aswell. I’ve been fine today but Wednesday I could have killed someone

To be honest the thought of lukewarm baths is actually marginally better than a shower pounding down on my hideously sore boulders of pain. Still Can't believe I didn't know though !!
Really must brush up actually, it's been 12 years since I was last pregnant AGGHHH !!! Just hope they haven't added more yummy foods to the "avoid" list, anything else I can handle

I asked my midwife about hot baths and she said it would essentially "poach" them! So just have a warm one not piping hot. I don't know what's worse a lukewarm bath or shower literally stabbing my tits and nips 👍🏼

@canonlyhopexo I don't know what's worse right now..picturing myself like a poached egg or @JenMumma's description of a puddle of disappointment 😂😂😂

I do enjoy a bath in the winter ... so a bit sad about this news! I didn't know either! Fortunately I have no boob soreness yet so showers are ok for me!

I am completely exhausted this evening! Feel like I could sleep for a year! We're going house hunting tomorrow, but the thought of it right now is draining!!

@avacadooo hahaha I'm glad that tickled you! I was quite disturbed when the midwife said about being poached but it's not taking much to upset me at the mo 😂 how's everyone been feeling today? Anyone got any advice re bowel movements soz if that's a bit personal! I seem to have gone from fairly easy to go more than once a day! To all of a sudden bit bunged up today!? I tell ya what pregnancy isn't as glam as I thought it would be 😂

@canonlyhopexo have you tried orange juice? It always makes me go, dunno if that's a thing or just my weird body?

Has anyone just about burst a bra yet? Put on my favourite one today and just about broke the thing...it's like pregnancy doesn't care how expensive bras are.

After seeing heartbeat at scan at 5+6 I've had a bad week, so have another viability scan booked for tomorrow so keeping everything crossed. I'm so worried

I'm def bursting out of mine but have no idea where to go/ look for the nice comfy ones as I'm usually small (so need the underwire / padding) and NOT IN PAIN so god knows 🤷🏼‍♀️🤦‍♀️. I don't want to spend a fortune. We should probably be going to get measured I just can't face head butting an over zealous seamstress thingy person or whatever they're called x x

Thanks for all the good luck messages. Just a bit of an update, I got my referral to the EPU and went in this morning. Had both an ultrasound and internal scan and both were inconclusive. The nurse thought she could see something like a sac but it measured about 4 weeks (I thought I was about 7) and she wasn't able to pinpoint its exact location. So I was told I was either pregnant, miscarried or miscarrying or have an ectopic. My HCG levels have been taken and I have to go back Sunday for another HCG test. The bleeding has got worse today so I'm trying to brace myself for the worse whilst keeping a bit of optimism. DH has been great but I'm worried about him as he doesn't show emotion to well and doesn't have any close friends he can talk to. He was so happy when we got the BFP a couple of weeks ago.

@UnicornDust17 what happened this week?

I'm still seeing brown when wiping and occasionally the tiniest amount of red amongst the brown. No clots or anything. We know it's not coming from the uterus, but there is still a chance I will have a miscarriage. Trying not to think about it too much.

I've told my parents and my best friend (cousin). I'm glad i did because I need their support with any outcome.
